Syncfusion delivers a very comprehensive productivity suite. We use components for web and Windows UI development development, an server-sided document processing features for Word, Excel and PDFs. The combination of all these components gives a great value for the price.

Nachteile

What we sometimes miss is the configuration depth, but the excellent support compensates this by adding what we need.

Syncfusion UI toolkit has quite a large number of components that can be incorporated into any Blazor application and put into use with very short time. In the toolkit, I think there are over 25 components to choose from. The Online help is so fantastic, explains with many examples and sows how to customize.

Their support team is very helpful and prompt in helping solve any problem. Even online chat service is very good and helpful. I recommend to any web developer to use Syncfusion UI toolkit and I am sure every user will be very happy

Nachteile

The scheduler component is so fantastic to use. Very complex, but once you get to know the component, it can be customized to suit your needs. Aging the support team provided me some examples and I am very happy with the Scheduler component.

Grid, a lot of the provided examples are out dated and no longer work or have issues. Getting help is difficult. They want you to provide an example where you have duplicated the issue being reported. If I could do this I would be able to figure out the issue and fix it.

I really like the SfGrid and SfScheduler. The product is pretty easy to use.

Just a general idea, for me it would be nicer if it was less reliant on stylesheets( <style></style>). For instance on icons intead of IconCss or even better Keep it but also make a Icon that can be choosed based on a enum
like Icon= SfIcnons.Material.Add or SfIcnons.Material.filled.Add and mybe Icon Color.

So more C# in developing, less styling.

The only feature we use in the Bold Reports ReportViewer and that's because Microsoft has not deployed an SSRS ReportViewer for ASP.Net Core.

Easy to get started with Syncfusion EJ2; setup with Webpack and TypeScript is fairly intuitive. Custom support is quick to respond (usually less than 24 hours) but they often fail to grasp the underling issues.

The EJ2 library has many bugs. The library suffers from inconsistent APIs between components resulting in a high learning curve when working with new components.

I've used both the Xamarin Forms and ASP.NET Core variants of Essential Studio. In both cases, I found the software to be solid, with a really nice feature set, and in general easy to implement. I think the best part of Syncfusion, though, is their incredible technical support, which in my experience is unmatched in the component industry in terms of their helpfulness, responsiveness, and speed.

I find the documentation lacking in terms of its completeness, and also the dearth of meaningful sample programs.

A wide variety of controls, well documented and supported. Excellent code samples and support is quick to respond to custom features and sample code.

We had few issues with feature parity from migrating from Angular JS to Angular but the team is quick to give alternative ideas with sample code.

Sometimes it departs from standard patterns making use more difficult that it needs to be and sometimes is a bit bugger than some of the other UI control libraries we use but not too bad.

The controls have allowed me to rapidly build a decently functional Blazor WebAssembly client/server system. In the couple of months I've had to work with it so far, it has proven to have decent functionality to go beyond the default behaviors of the UI.

Nachteile

Their online examples are helpful, but their online documentation could definitely use some expansion, as it often isn't clear what the various properties and methods truly do. Because of that, I'm left to explore it through the Visual Studio debugger, and make my own determinations about how to interpret what I'm seeing. This increases the amount of time needed to build out an interface. The English documentation appears to be written by someone for whom English is a second language.

Customization of the software is often hard (Doing some testing for a possible Blazor App) and sometimes takes a lot of time. I often need to find a workaround. Always when to load dynamic data. Examples:
SfGantt: You need to manually call UpdateDataSource.
SfProgressBar: ProgressBarAnnotation.Content is not updated when Value is changed.
It doesn't seem that Blazor is a native implementation like Radzen.

Some of the widgets have complex controls which Syncfusion have simplified, but you really need a reactive support desk to ensure you can use some of the elegant controls; otherwise there is always a long learning curve with a new set of controls. Syncfusion have a brilliant support desk, who are able to respond with examples, which our development team understood.

There will always be features you would like, but the Syncusion herlpdesk may have many of them already available even if they are not published.

I use these controls with Blazor. The documentation is superb! There are a few glitches on the site but the main controls that I use (Dialogs, grids, dropdowns for CRUD operations) are fantastic!

I use these controls with Blazor. Some of the products, like the Dialog: Mindmap control and Organization Chart control examples are a bit glitchy. The documentation needs to be updated and demos need to be updated with full functionality.

ASP.NET Core MVC grid has incredible features and flexibility. Price is very reasonable. Quality is excellent overall. Customer support consistently exceeds my expectations. Online chat with support is very good. Documentation is extensive and overall quite good. TONS of examples.

Lack of built-in support for concurrency checking, but luckily not a show stopper for us.

Things are changing so fast that a lot of your documentation hasn't kept current with the latest changes, which sometimes makes it hard to implement some of the newest features. It also makes it difficult because if we find a thread on the community forum, often its outdated because the product itself has changed recently.
