We have used this system for over 8 years, True Commerce is truly once of the best EDI providers we have worked with.
Vorteile
1) They have an amazing Support team that has answered and fixed every issue in a timely manner.
2) The month to month cost has been one the best prices for the volume we have.
3) The implementation and our migration process where handled quick and made easier with the help of their support team.

I cant tell what we do not like as we have not hit an issue or problem.

Great product, great staff
Great so far, the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to assist. We haven't had any downs. I do not have an IT background and they all have helped me undestand how everything works in a language I can understand.

It's easy to use, the support team is amazing as well.
Nachteile
A part of the support team is overseas so you need to mark the even as urgent someone in the US can help you. Our mapping was making a transmission cutting out a decimal than the original invoice. We did not discover it was doing that until after 2 years of operation. It was fixed within a couple of days but chek on you mapping very well before going to production.

EDI exists, and I occasionally have to engage with it because of CVS and Walmart.
it was good. i would recommend it to others who are forced to join an edi solution by their CVS deals.

nothing was bad about the product. i just don't need software to help me receive and send emails. I use EDI simply because Walmart, CVS and other such bloated companies require it's use.

Excellent Integration
I like the software, it makes getting orders from customers easy. Sending Ship notices and invoices are just a couple clicks of my mouse. It is great!

Ease of use. I do not have to input my invoice twice, TrueCommerce enters it into Quickbooks for me.

The Most Cost Effective Solution on the Market
We have been using EDI at our business for many many years, and we have investigated several EDI solutions on the market, but when it comes to getting everything you need from EDI at the best price possible, TrueCommerce is comparable to none - they far outshine the competition! You really get the most bang for your buck when it comes to functionality, features, ERP/business system integration, and overall customer support.
Vorteile
One of the best aspects of TrueCommerce is the all-inclusive support that is offered at no additional charge. With an easy to use and intuitive web client interface, submitting a help ticket is simple, and the response time on getting answers and solutions to problems we encounter has always been top-shelf!
Nachteile
Integrating with our ERP system was a very technical process that took a bit of time and a lot of testing and validating to ensure everything was working properly, but with the continued support we received through that integration, we a functional and stable solution with little to no problems.

Customer service is TrueCommerce top priority
We truly wish we transitioned sooner from their competitor.
Vorteile
All aspects of the sales process, design, testing and go live the entire team at TrueCommerce communicate quickly and effectively. They have been able to pivot throughout the project to overcome problems by thinking outside of the box and listening to us, the client. Their portals are far superior to that of anyone else in the EDI market.
Nachteile
At this time we don't have any cons to share.

Satisfied Long-Time User
I've used TC EDI for over 15 years at two different companies. I love the features, ease of use, responsiveness from the support team, etc. I would recommend this solution to others looking to add EDI capabilities or switch from an EDI solution they are not satisfied with.
Vorteile
Very easy user interface, similar to any mailbox.
Nachteile
It costs to include a broker or 3rd party email address if someone needs to receive PDF attachments of POs, invoices, etc. This seems like a very simple thing to add so I'm surprised there would be an extra charge.

Product is good and fairly easy to use.
Right now the only benefit is price. If it was my choice we would be looking for another option that did not result in so much lost time and resources.

Customer service and Integration from HighJump is terrible. It has taken them well over a month to perform one single integration. Often we go days if not weeks before customer service and integration team responds to emails or calls. Our most recent encounter with them has resulted in a fine from the company TrueCommerce was supposed to integrate. Over the past 5 years of business with TrueCommerce, our number one issue with them has been lack of good customer service.

DiCentral Web Forms, Integration and Support
Very positive experience so far. NOCO has been partnered with DiCentral for a little over a year and we have been able to add more than 10 trading partners to the system, 4 of which will be integrated with our ERP.
Vorteile
Easy to use, integrates with SAP ByDesign, connections to many trading partners already exist so there is less time getting set up with new customers for our company.
Nachteile
Takes a little time to get used to the navigation screens.

TrueCommerce takes the "scariness" and mystery out of EDI.
Our company utilizes their web-based solution - TrueCommerce- that is integrated with our ERP system. Integration was seamless and painless and we were up and running with no hick-ups right away; install only took about 1 business day. We started off with 4 trading partners and those were set up for us before were even done with the install. And since those customers were also TrueCommerce customers- there was no testing needed. Bringing on additional customers is quite simple and the TrueCommerce Support Team is one of the most knowledgeable group of people I have ever worked with.
TrueCommerce is so easy to use! The interface is similar to how email is set up, you have an Inbox and a Sent folder, etc. It's so straightforward that someone with limited EDI knowledge or experience can begin processing documents and get a basic understanding of how EDI works just by looking at it.
The system can handle anything you throw at it! We went from 4 trading partners to 11 trading partners in less than 2 years, and 6 months ago we moved our 3PL onto this platform as well. With monthly document volume going from 100-200 per month to averaging 5000 documents a month- we have more than exceeded our ROI within the first 12 months. We also purchased an automation module that has literally been a life saver!! This allows us to concentrate on our business and allows our 3PL to process our orders without anyone really having to think about our EDI system. If for some reason there is an issue with our EDI documents, program, or automation an email is sent to us so that we can proactively get the issue resolved with the help of TrueCommerce Support. Issues are easily tracked and quickly handled from within TrueCommerce Customer Center or via email.
Overall - I'm so glad we chose this solution and am excited to bring on more and more customers to our EDI platform. It's just a win-win all the way around!

Great Software that was quickly Integrated into our System
We had the need to implement an EDI Software and TrueCommerce has given us a great experience in support and implementation to receive orders and send invoices by EDI. It´s important to mention that 90% of our Purchase Orders arrive by EDI. There are few suppliers that work with Sage Business Vision
(Our System) andTrueCommerce has worked excellent for us.
We recently implemented the 820 transactions for EDI and the experience was very good.
Their support team is small but very efficient.

It´s easy to use, it integrates well with our system and is very reliable, we have been working with this software for more than 8 years and 90% of our orders arrive by EDI, so it is very important to us have a tool that is always working. Also, there are no errors with the purchase orders (received by EDI), everything is processed as the client requested it.
It is also important for us to be able to send invoices through EDI and it has always been very reliable and easy to track
Nachteile
When a new version of my system comes out it takes 6 months to have a compatible version, so I need to be patient and wait to test the new features.

They make EDI Easy!
They have helped us with two different ERP solutions and have made daily EDI tasks effortless. We are about to migrate to a new ERP solution and I have had discussions with TrueCommerce and their integration with the new ERP solution will make EDI even easier for our daily processes. (I didn't think it would be possible to make it easier!)

They have the people to help make EDI easy. Not 100% hands off, but it is so much easier when you have a Customer or Vendor who wants to do EDI and you get some basic information and then the TrueCommerce steps in and next thing you know you are certified and using EDI with your trading partner.
Nachteile
Any dislikes seem to be addressed by the support staff. Usually it is just a lack of knowledge or misunderstanding that quickly gets explained and there is nothing left to dislike.

Does the basics of EDI
Vorteile
I find the software relatively easy to use. It is more user friendly than it has been in the past before this system was updated. I allows me to do most of our EDI turnaround without much issue.
Nachteile
There have been at least 2 times, that come to mind, where the system has been down for breaches in security which had prohibited us from accessing our daily orders for 36 hours. We have stringent timelines to meet with many of our customer that upon not fulfilling we are subject to hefty fines.
A lot of the EDI turnaround is automatic and wish New dates for customers could auto populate instead of having to enter the same information each time. I have tired numerous times to set certain criteria to default and it does not seem to stick.

Great Program that Boosts Effeciency
Great experience overall. From implementation, to adding new trading partners, to integrating with new software just this year, we are overall very happy with the capabilities of this program.
Vorteile
Can be customized to meet the needs of your business and easy to implement with other types of software. Also helps us to more efficiently run our business and complete daily tasks. Daily order processing has become way more efficient and accurate with the use of the True Commerce software.
Nachteile
Because it is so customizable, it sometimes takes a while to implement new uses for the software. The support team is generally helpful but it can be hard to track down the individual who has the knowledge to assist you with specific tasks.

They basically can fit into almost all of the big ERP system like QB, NS...etc. They can fit into most of the trading partners. We have more than 20 EDI connections with them. They just get rid of their Silverlight based webpage and deploy new like of the portal which is better.
Nachteile
The software is unstable. You might need to call their customer support once or twice a week to get the problem fixed. The webpage loading time is slow...

Best EDI Solution For Our Business
True Commerce has been incredible for our business. They were patient with us as we transitioned business systems over to a new ERP. The integration with our new system is incredible; it takes full advantage of the capabilities of EDI.
Vorteile
We decided to reevaluate out EDI systems a couple of years ago after our provider failed to meet our expectations on an integration project. We happened upon True Commerce and were not only impressed with the functionality, but also we shocked by the affordability and price!
Nachteile
Their support structure is a little difficult to navigate. If you are in a trading partner implementation phase, you can't get support from one of their support agents. You have to wait to speak with an implementation specialist.

Terrible Support - Find an Alternaitve
It has been nearly 14 months and we have yet to conduct a single live transaction yet they have been billing use monthly for subscription. Several of the people assigned to our account have left their organization in the middle making things worse. Emails often got unanswered, and this is true with many of the employees I have worked with. A session to troubleshoot a problem is often scheduled 2-3 weeks in the future due to poor staffing.
Vorteile
The one good thing about TrueCommerce is that there are very few other options out there for EDI so you may be forced into this decision.
Nachteile
The software requires support from them to work and they are severely understaffed and unable to provide the support you will need.

Great Product Great Price with Fantastic Support
I love using TC. I have been using TC for many years with multiple companies, with many different sizes. My current company uses TC for 80 partners for different channels. Their support and functionality sets the bar.
Vorteile
I love the visibility and ability to monitor your system, to monitor orders, and even make changes as needed. Their support though makes life easy as an IT Professional to ensure that orders are flowing. EDI is the lifeblood of any new business, and as result without a functioning EDI, issues will arise. TC is not set it and forget it, but it is set is and watch it. I equate TC to smoking meat. You put it in, watch it carefully, and enjoy the ride.
Nachteile
The only issue I have with TC is the lack of ability to automate connections and information into ERP for item information. Meaning that when a change happens in NetSuite, you have to update every trading partner. But with the future, they are looking to amend this.

It has been above satisfactory. [sensitive content hidden] have been very patient with us and always helpful.

There is a lot to learn and [sensitive content hidden] were great teachers and took the time to show us how to use the software. They also explained what they have to do to complete the project, which was also very helpful.
Nachteile
The software is a little confusing to get around, but the tutorials help. If there was a print out of every time from A-Z that would be extremely helpful. Maybe there is and I just don't know!

Great Software for all of your business needs

We can integrate just about anyone with True Commerce. It can be straight EDI or .ftp, you can connect everyone and access just one portal with True Commerce.
Nachteile
We randomly have issues that come up when maps change and we are not made aware. Overall this is few and far between but a hassle when it comes up.

Very disorganized company
You send an email - and then you may get a respond but nothing will change only e-mail you can't talk with anybody in this company - they are not professional and they do not understand how their own system works

Worst customer service I've ever experienced
automation of order processing. I purchased their Transaction manager as well as their Pack and Ship software.
Vorteile
I love the software when it works. However setting up the system and fixing any issues is near to impossible. Their support department is split into multiple departments, so if you call in no one can actually help you because "thats not their department". As a user I know more information about their system then most of their customer service reps that answer the phone (which is not much). Sales reps over sell their quality of customer service and give false information about how easy integration is. I dont mind running into issues, thats expected with software. But the lack of help you get when something does go wrong is brutal. They have one or 2 people on the team that actually know how to help and if you get in touch with them KEEP THIER DIRECT CONTACT INFO!
Nachteile
customer service and integration specialists. It took over a year to integrate their "pre built connections", like amazon seller central, walmart marketpalce, and shopify. Once I signed the contract to start implementation in May 2020, it took 4 months for a rep to actually reach out and begin the project. I told them i had a deadline of November 2020 to be fully integrated...that did not happen. Fast forward to Nov. 2021 I finally have my trading partners set up but not all of them are complete. Integration team has stopped following up with me.

I have had the best 4 years of partnership with True Commerce... With many more years to come!
This software has helped our company become more efficient with our daily tasks. Also, we are able to meet each of our Trading Partner requirements through True Commerce.
Personally, True Commerce has helped me become knowledgeable and confident about EDI and its ability to help our company grow and become for efficient.
Vorteile
I called True Commerce knowing very little about EDI. My task was to find a new EDI solution that was going to work best for our new ERP software. From the moment I heard "Hello" my experience has been more than the 5 star rating.
I can list many things that are great at True Commerce. Their team in wonderful.
Immediately I felt at ease because everybody talked my language and never used jargon or talked over my head. I never felt uncomfortable for not knowing about the topic. I have worked with multiple people from sales, integration, technical support and marketing and everyone provides the best positive energy and assistance.
I also love their software application. Through the integration process I was empowered to learn the software so that I could make edits and changes as needed. Before True Commerce I would have to call in to our EDI vendor for every error or challenge. It would sometimes take hours or even a day or two to get our application fixed. This stopped our business from running. Now, with True Commerce, I have been able to identify the errors and fix some of them myself. I have made the fix in minutes versus waiting for tech support. However, if I do need tech support, I can call True Commerce and have assistance in minutes.
I look back at the past 4 years of our partnership and it amazes me how much they have taught me. My company is now reviewing new ways that EDI can help our company. They are a great company. A great choice!

Easy to use but customer service needs work
This system automates our billing for a large key customer. Software system works well although about once every 3 months needs to be "reconnected" with quickbooks. This is fairly easy to do but frustrating the first few times because I didn't know how to do it on my own and customer service was not available.
Vorteile
The software is set up similar to email with and inbox, outbox, sent etc. Fairly intuative and toom almost now training to start using. I think the cost is inline with other providers.
Nachteile
I have had a few bumps along the way with the implementation, customer service and sales team. When I oringally signed up the sales team told me I could use the system with one of my customers but that wasnt true. After quite a long time and a lot of follow up they did give me my money back. This year we changed from quickbooks desktop to online so we had to go through the implementation of the Truecommerce EDI software all over again. The implementation specialist over looked a key step in the processes causing a delay of about a month in the implemation. I ended up sending hundreds of transactions that failed due to this oversight. Truecommerce still charged me for these failed transactions which I felt was unfair. I spent 3 months following up with cuatomer service to try to get a refund. I did finally get a refund but it shouldn't have taken that long or required that level of follow up on my part.

A winning partnership
We wanted a solution that was better integrated with our software, much faster, simpler and cheaper to launch new trading partners. We found that a typical partner is up and running at a fraction of the previous time and cost with very little effort and rare to never do we require actual code changes.
Vorteile
There's a great deal of consistency in this product and in the company which is gravely important when dealing with a plethora of trading partners with diverse requirements.
Nachteile
There is a trade-off between great working software and feature rich capabilities. In this I found that it does 90% of what we need it to do well and then 10% it handles in a round about way that in order to make it work would be a tremendously costly undertaking.

Not enterprise grade solution.
We are a large multi national corp with 3 divisions, and approx 50 trading partners, using Dynamics GP as an ERP.
Integration and transition:
We have been trying for almost a year to get up and running. The teams are inexperienced and have never encountered a company our size. Things that work yesterday don't work today. Programmers are overwriting each other, and there are no standards for how stuff is done. There is no project plan, source code control, issue tracking, or anything else that is standard for a project this size. The response time is days not hours, and many issues they ignore hoping they go away. They have not encountered many of our scenarios which are standard for any company our size.
The software:
There are two parts to the solution, one is the web based portal the other is the GP Integration. The web based as a standalone solution is slow and cumbersome, but basically works most of the time. However, the "Raw EDI" is not truly that, there is very poor reporting, and no integration verification.
On the GP side, it many times does not work, doesn't produce the expected results, and "loses" transactions. Being multi-company, many transactions overwrite each other and causes loss of transaction data. The export is slow, ie; I exported 3000+ ASN's and that took 3.5 hrs. There is little in logging and visibility to what is happening behind the scenes.
Vorteile
We were promised the world and got delivered peanuts.
Nachteile
Does not work consistently, implementation team is incompetent.

No Implementation, but charging months together
Horrible with implementation team. Pleasant with sales team, who responds and informs he escalated the situation, for the 2nd time.
Vorteile
We had great presentation and conversations with the sales team about the features and ease of use etc.
Nachteile
Once we signed up and paid the initial payment of 100s of dollars, there is no implementation timeline. There is no response to emails sent by our trading partners for status. Dead silence on the implementation, but keep charging the credit card for monthly fee for over two months. Left legal as the only option to recover our money.

Used to be great but now not so sure
Started out strong. Seems high turnover of technical support, integration specialists and programmers may have caused issues where clear mistakes have been made on multiple occasions causing rejected documents and chargebacks from our partners.
Vorteile
I like that you purchase the partner plug-in and never pay again for any updates made by said partner. Also, the ability to integrate with SAP.
Nachteile
That over the last few years it seems that the updates being made to partner plug-ins have caused us chargebacks and I no longer feel confident in the validity of the documents we are sending out to our partners. Now I have to carefully scrutinize every change notice to make sure something hasn't been done that will cause a rejected document and subsequent chargeback (i.e. making a previously mandatory field optional when it really is mandatory...at least for us). EDI management has now become far more time consuming and frustrating.

Ain't the True Commerce I once knew
They are the very BEST is sending bills for services that they never provided, and the worst to get you on board.
If I had the choice/opportunity, I would dump them in a heartbeat.
Vorteile
It is SUPPOSED to be "seamless" from EDI to ERP
and it might be IF you can get TC to actually take the time to make it work
Nachteile
While in theory the software IS good, the lack of co-operation, concern, care, service, from True Commerce is abhorrent. I'm over 8 months from signing on an not a single partner is working anywhere near acceptable level.

True Commerce EDI Solutions
We deal with high volume customers in our business so utilizing a software system like True Commerce EDI Solutions allows us to manage out time more efficiently. Rarely do we have any changes to make to our EDI mapping once the customer has been established, so the process flows very soothly.
Vorteile
I love the ease of receiving and transmitting EDI files from and to customers. It is also so very time saving to have the ability to transfer orders directly into Quickbooks. When you're dealing with a large customer like Walmart or McLane, you can receive and process large orders quickly.
Nachteile
I have experienced issues with mapping which can be frustrating and time consuming to figure out. It's best to have EDI pros on either side of the transaction to help it flow smoother when issues pop up.
