We have not implemented, but from my experience in prior organizations, it takes the hassle out of paperwork, giving a real time, seamless experience for communication and tracking purposes.

Scheduling with Ease
Great experience as a user. I would use this for my own business for employee schedules as it is user friendly.
Vorteile
When I work software allows all employees the ability to check own and other coworkers schedules from mobile phone access with ease.
Nachteile
As a user I did not find the software to have any cons. The layout could be more attractive however not any other issues.

When I Work was everything that our store needed to simplify the scheduling process.
From our initial trial, the When I Work staff has been nothing but fantastic about providing excellent customer service and assistance. The software is already excellent but their support really drives the point home. Our employees have consistent and easy access to their schedule wherever they go. Thanks to the ease of use of the software, the amount of time our scheduling process takes has DRASTICALLY dropped. When I Work is an efficient suite of software that almost any business location could very easily incorporate into their current system.
Vorteile
Lightweight, simple, efficient. It has all of the tools we need to make a schedule quickly and consistently. Tracking tools and different views make the whole process extremely painless.
Nachteile
So far I have not had any complaints about either the software or the customer support.

Overall it has great potential if all parties are utilizing the portal.
Vorteile
It was easy to put in requests for time off and to ask for scheduling adjustments. Also we could see who we were working with which was useful in finding someone to switch shifts with.
Nachteile
I did not get to utilize much of the program as our admins were not checking the information which made it a bit difficult.

Happy Customer
Good software for a larger organization with many field employees. Not the best for a smaller organization with minimal field staff.
Vorteile
It was easy to use, even for someone with basic skills.

The cost was fairly high for moderate use software.

Very Proactive Customer Survice/Sales
Very positive and they were very understanding with we let them know we were going in another direction due to price. If I were to do it again I probably would have paid the extra to go with When I Work
Vorteile
After signing up for free trial, a representative called to help figure out what would be the best pricing/features option would be for us. She also offered her direct extension to help with implementation and any problems we may run into.
Nachteile
With per user pricing the price came in just too high for us to go with on a long-term basis, but all of the functionality was there.

Vorteile
This is a great program to use if you have a smaller work force. I do not know how it would review if it were larger. Great functionality to see your own schedule and others you work with.
Nachteile
You have to pay extra once you have a certain number of employees, meaning you cannot keep seasonal staff on the program if you have more than the allotted number. Would be great if it had a bulletin board or messaging program that could go out to the whole staff at once.

Makes scheduling and tracking employees easy
Vorteile
Very easy to track employees schedule and instant notification about picking up or dropping shifts
Nachteile
It would be great to see the employee’s full availability for the weekly schedule.

When do I work?
Vorteile
This is a great app for anyone who has a fast paced, on the go lifestyle. I enjoyed being able to adjust notifications accordingly so I received a weekly email of my schedule as well as a reminder the morning beforehand.
Its also very easy for managers to build schedules. It gives you the capability to save layouts so you can repeat them if needed or store them for a later time!
Nachteile
It was a bit hard to swap shifts between different employees if there was any sort of conflict (hours worked, specific days, etc), but overall great app!

Clean Interface, Simple App
Simple, easy to use, free for up to 75 people. No obvious added benefits over comparable products.
Vorteile
This was an easy app to try out, and it is free for up to 75 employees. That price works for me! It's not much different than the other software scheduling items out there, but a welcome choice for someone who is just beginning to use such a product.
Nachteile
Because there doesn't seem to be any benefit of this app over the one I already use, I can't find a compelling reason to switch. I enjoy "When I Work" for its ease of use, but there's doesn't seem to be anything extra to convince me to truly change over.

Saved me from going CRAZY
I found Wheniwork just before I started hiring employees for our new business. I honestly believe that without it I would go Bat S@%T Crazy.
It allows me to schedule my staff in just a few minutes, communicate with them as a group or each as an individual. I was able to set standard shifts, personalized shifts and even block out time that some of my employees needed off. My employees can even send requests for time off and set their own availability.
It tracks my hours, my payroll budget and cost so little that it feels too good to be true. But it's not! It is what every busy Manager needs.
I would be stuck behind my desk every day if I was doing the scheduling manually. Now I can spend more time with my customers.

Easy, convenient, genius!
Vorteile
Works seamlessly for scheduling when you need to figure out when employees are available. I have a cleaning company, and my cleaners availability are always changing. This is the only way I've been able to get a handle on when they are available or not to take appointments. A lifesaver.

System didn't work and company refused to refund despite NEVER USING IT
We never used WhenIWork with our employees...nobody received login info or a schedule. We found it didn't work and we contacted WhenIWork pretty much right after signing up and they refused to offer any refund (we paid for the year). This is such bad business.
Vorteile
Looks fancy - good concept. The marketing of the product is well done and they seem to be able to convince many people to buy.
Nachteile
Doesn't work well for businesses like ours that require multiple shifts. We run a non-profit school where teachers take several consecutive shifts at times.

Logical Scheduling Platform
Vorteile
I was asked to select a scheduling app for booking tradesmen into a system while they were out in the field. This app is really easy to use, has a nice mobile app and well thought out admin platform. Excellent customer service and reasonable cost.
Nachteile
Nothing yet - covers everything my client was looking for. There are a lot more complex solutions but not what we needed.

I was made to use this app when I had an actual job where I worked 9-5. I was able to see my schedule for the week on the app which saved paper

Saved us a lot of time
We had only been using the trial version of the software for a week before deciding it was the right tool for us. In just a fraction of the time it usually takes us to build a new schedule, we had the app set-up and were already making changes and communicating shifts to employees.
I also like the fact that there are a lot of HR templates accessible to its users.
I would definitely recommend this app.

Not Working
Vorteile
The app keeps scheduling very organized and makes staff communication easy and affective. However, helpdesk should be made open without logging in for those having login issues.
Nachteile
Password reset link does not work. No info is given on how to fix this problem. Customer Service info is hidden, cannot find anyway to get answers from helpdesk without logging in. Ive been trying for two days now needless to say I'm just going to stop using the app.

A Best One for Business.
It takes care about time. It deserves a lot of good reviews.

This saves our time. It works awesome. I will chose it again and again because it is a perfect one as well.

Vorteile
All of our locations are in one spot and no more driving to get the time sheets, the app is convenient, and our employees like that they aren't having to keep up with their time. They just have to remember to clock in and out.
Nachteile
Not being able to set someone up to be a ghost clock in for any hours and any location for situations when someone calls in sick

Remote Lifesaver
I'm glad we have it in this current landscape, but the freezing might be something we move on from when back at work.
Vorteile
When we moved to remote work, it was essential that we know when people would be on and off. It is simply not possible for everyone to work the same hours as before and tracking that could be a nightmare. They allow us to do this in an easy way.
Nachteile
The app seems to freeze a great deal and when you are working remotely this can be even more problematic - due to the WiFi situation.

Decent
I don't have to text message everyone and everyone is there so I dont have to have eveyone's number.
Vorteile
I love the fact that I can communicate with the people at work with out the need of my phone to be sending them text messages. Everything stays there.
Nachteile
I do not like that I do not get notifications to my email when someone writes me on a message. Please send me messages so I don't have to literally log in for this.

A great way to schedule your employees
I have had a very good experience so have employees that have scheduled on this software.
Vorteile
This software allows an easy way to keep track of your employees's schedules and let them do it themselves. I like that I can add so many schedules for so many positions.
Nachteile
There are many different colors offered to assign different types of work on the schedule. I wish they would expand this function to allow more extreme colors for easier use.

Tracks time well

Great scheduling software for a 24/7 operation
Vorteile
easy to use, adding new employees and the invite is helpful. Like the variety of ways I can review the schedule; monthly, daily, weekly.
Nachteile
Reporting function could be better when sorting staff and positions. Would like to see some standard reports.

The thing I liked most is it was easy to know my schedule without having to get in contact with my boss

the thing I liked the least about this software is that it was a bit glitchy, didnt really allow me to get on sometimes

It would be hard to go at it without WIW
"WIW allows me to be very flexible in scheduling my team. The more flexible I can be for them, the more they enjoy their life in and outside of work. They bring that joy with them into the workplace, increasing the morale of the whole team. Without a program like WIW, that flexibility would be nearly impossible."

Excellent Time Tracking Software!
Vorteile
This is an excellent platform for managing time clocking in and out procedures! Definitely our go to application for managing our staff.
Nachteile
There were a couple of minor adjustments we had to make after implementing the software. Still, no major hold ups implementing and integrating the software!

Great softqare

This app makes it SO easy to look at my schedule, swap shifts, and chat with my coworkers about shifts. The user interface is simple and easy to use, it gives me a notification of whenever the new schedule is sent out. It's also free!
Nachteile
My only complaint would be email notification from not "clocking-in". I don't use this feature on the app, we clock in at the company. I have since turned notifications off, but only because my company tracks hours clocked in on our own different software.

Awesome app
The customer service was fantastic. May consider implementing again in the future when whole team is ready to be trained for install.
Vorteile
I loved how easy it was to schedule staff and then have that information available to our financial team for time sheets.
Nachteile
Nothing. We weren't using the app to it's fullest potential so it no longer made since to pay for the software.

Confusing software
Vorteile
It was good for work purpose and it did track my hours

Great program for small business on the go
With when i work, I can easily schedule, manage and change my employees schedules. I ca schedule them for weeks to come, preset shifts, easily accept call offs and shift changes from my phone or laptop! It is very easy to track how many shifts and hours are being worked per week, chat, time clock, offer open shifts to your entire team, and much much more. It is very simple to use and the fact I can do this on the go from my phone, means a great deal for me!

Easy to use, many any functions and all employees can access silly with notification of when they work.
Nachteile
the price of time management. clocking in will become a much larger aspect in 2017 and i feel the price should be discounted when you already have one service

Good way to collaborate when your coworkers work
Vorteile
The math department introduced me to this software to show me all the TA's office hours and helped me better choose when is a better time to hold my office hours. All the TA's are having their office hours in the same place, knowing other people's schedule is crucial so that the place will not be too crowded. This software definitely helps the math department to arrange work hours and stuff.
Nachteile
I think it can be a little bit more user-friendly. I would have been lost if I did not receive any instruction from my department. But is free so I don't have too much complaint.

Sensible software for scheduling
Vorteile
customer service is good online (emails, messages), easy enough to set up, ability to choose various categories to offer different services to different audiences of clients
Nachteile
not much more effective than most other scheduling softwares out there. I didn't enjoy the complexity of having to setup various iterations of the same services, depending on how I wanted to receive or send confirmations. very limited look and feel.

Great Schedule Keeper
Vorteile
This program is great for making and keeping schedules for employees. It is easy to set up and manage and very easy for users to access their schedules and submit for changes.
Nachteile
I have not found any cons as of yet. It does everything I need.

Work Schedule
Beneficial to communicating time off, schedule change, etc. with upper management.
Vorteile
There is a smartphone app that makes it easier to check daily and weekly. Direct emails are also optional for updates. It is super convenient and also has a chat for co workers to communicate through.
Nachteile
The amount of emails can be overwhelming every time there is a change in schedule. The chat notifications can also be overbearing.

Quick and easy solution
Vorteile
Publish and Notify is my favorite feature. No more piece mailing and dealing with rescheduling staff.
Nachteile
I wish you could block dates off for certain people for vacation etc.

Excellent way to schedule employees
I enjoyed using this app greatly and I encourage others to use it
Vorteile
Schedules are posted weekly and it is an amazing way to communicate with the boss, coworkers, etc. also to keep track of how many hours you worked.
And to request time off half day or full day
Nachteile
There were no cons when I used this software, it was not 100% beneficial to me!

Reasonably priced, great time-saver!
After using Google Calendar to schedule, this feels like magic. This effectively communicates the schedule to my employees with one click, and they can access it from any computer or smartphone. They can also receive text reminders if they choose. Their web app and smartphone app have a sleek design and the interface is very intuitive. I've also had excellent results with their customer service when needed.

Easy to use employee scheduling software at an affordable price
Vorteile
I have found this product to be extremely easy to use with minimal glitches and speed bumps. You can start for free and continue at a great rate so you also get a good value for what you pay.
Nachteile
Although there is a pretty extensive list of article in the support/FAQ section on the website, getting personalized customer support requires submission of a ticket and I have found the response time to be very slow.
