The best and easiest-to-use scheduling application on the market!

I wish this application existed when I had my first hourly gig. The application replaces the needs for printed schedules, post-its, and desperate text messages saying 'please switch schedules.' The team developing WIW is clearly motivated to make the best and quickest app that is easy to use and feature friendly.

Easy and helpful!!

When I Work is so easy for the employee and so helpful for the employer! The employee has all the information at their finger tips regarding their schedule for the day - including address, directions and any special instructions. For the employer it makes scheduling a breeze! Input name of location and When I work does the rest! Add any special instructions and time frame and you're done!

Works, But Not the Most User-Friendly

Easy scheduling, just wish there were more communication methods

The initial process of getting the app to work in the first place was very frustrating, but after that it has been very easy to use. You can even see who is scheduled at the same time as you. Been using this app since this past Spring working various events in the Greater Denver Area. Only other issue is that if you have to change your schedule there's no real way to do it through the app (have to email a manager instead).

When I Work..NOT

The system is easy to use but the issues we are having make our job even harder. Going from not being able to change my staff's emails to multiple messages being sent out at one time - confusing my staff on do I go to work or not. The things that make this system unique, makes this system a nightmare when it is not working correctly.
The saying in the office is "Sometimes I Work"

We manage a staff of 8 and this saves us a considerable amount of time compared to old school methods.

I have been using WIW in 2 of my cafes for 18mths now and its made life so much easier!
From writing rosters, to finding staff replacements at the last minute WIW will make it all so simple and fast no matter what your roster issues.

The staff LOVE the apps and ease of use as well. requesting time off has never been easier for both staff and Management.

I really cant imagine working without WIW now!

Since I started using WIW in our franchise group 5 other franchisee's and the head franchisor have all started using WIW.

Work organization, time management, and the ability to keep up with the hours I worked allowed for me to better anticipate how much I would get paid every two weeks so that I could divide my payments amongst my bills and miscellaneous items.

When I Work saved my company 3 hours a week

When we heard about When I Work, I was hopeful it would advanced our company. Little did I know, the WIW program not only allowed us to schedule faster, easier and more efficiently but also it allowed us to communicate with our valets attendants in a way we were not able to do before.

Although the app is great on Apple, we have had a few issues on the Android platform.

We started using Excel for scheduling initially but as our business grew, so did our need to change our procedures to accommodate requests and convenience for employee team members. So, we trialed many apps and found WHENIWORK such an excellent APP and a great price!

My life is better

When I Work had made scheduling so much easier for both me and my staff. My staff loves seeing their schedule from the WIW app, loves being able to clock in and out from their phones, and with the safety pre-cautions WIW has to ensure people clocking in or out offsite are tagged, it makes everything a breeze. Integrations with QuickBooks Online and ZenPayroll are magical, and it's so easy for my staff to put in Drop Shift and Shift Swap requests, and for me to quickly see (and approve) them. Thank you for the payroll and budgeting features! They have been great!

No more missed shifts!

Our staff love that they can view their schedules up to 4 weeks in advance. It's really alleviated the need to find substitute staff on short notice.

Easy employee time management

When I work is pretty simple and straight forward. It syncs with my payroll software perfectly. Cost is extremely reasonable. It can be used for time management and scheduling.

Overall a very good experience.

I must say the best thing about wheniwork is the simple but nice looking layout. To have it accessible via the app is also one of the better features. Overall easy to make and take shifts.
We had some employees who had trouble taking shifts via the app. Although i'm not sure if t he problems lays with us or the app. They simply can't see the shifts even though they are published in the open shifts field.
Haven't used the customer service so i have nothing to say about that.
So yeah overall a great tool for our business!

THE BEST BY FAR

Wow. what can i say. When I Work is an amazing, easy, efficient, and by far after 20 years in scheduling have I never found a program so easy. I just added the Attendance feature and When I Work help chat was responding to me in seconds, and every resolution they gave me worked!! Not only is it an amazing tool for managers, but your employees will LOVE being able to see their schedule any time and everything gets documented for you in the history! Thank you so much to our reps for being a huge help to me. TWO THUMBS UP!

Quick, Easy and Very Informative!

We have been using WIW for almost two years and the results have been great. We love the ease of creating, moving, and adjusting schedules. Add in the ease of scheduling and requesting time off. One great thing our team loves in the ability to post an open shift and the team being able to grab that shift. Lastly the notifications and the mobile app make it easy to view your schedule at any time while also holding the team accountable. No excuses! LOL

Easiest scheduling app:)

Easy to enter shifts and change around. Love the fact that when I'm on the road I can see who's working. Calculates everything for you. Changing shifts and letting your employees know is easy. Two cons I have are that in the app phone you can't see total hours in a week for employees, and when it's a paid vacation or holiday it doesn't add it up in the total hours. Other than that this software is very easy to use and when you have questions, agents are readily available;)

Couldn't run my business without this great app!

Easy to set up, easy for staff to use, and great value for money. I looked at several options which required bespoke software to be written specifically for us. When I found this 'off-the-shelf' option, which is easily customised for our particular use, I was delighted. The customer service and support are both excellent and it's a pleasure to deal with nice responsive people. Not that you would need much support as the system works and is easy to set up.
