Good for integrating some processes
Vorteile
I like the fact that I can integrate some tools that I use but don't have a possibility to integrate them without API knowledge.
Nachteile
I don't like the fact that some integrations are very limited and that you lose the reason for which you are integrating it. Also, I find it very hard to create zaps when Google Docs are involved.

Great integration-as-a-service tool
Vorteile
Zapier is a very handy tool to integrate your daily tools like gmail, facebook, twitter, excel etc. via their api's. Also, you could use Zapier for small business enterprises. I really like the "zap" context.
Nachteile
It is difficult to understand the cost structure properly. Maybe more details or pre-sales assistance would be nice.

Great automation tool to integrate with other tools
Vorteile
It was easy to setup different tools with Zapier. Most of the known apps have a "built-in" integration, so you just need to select "your" fields to integrate.
Nachteile
The free trial only allows me to 5 Zaps, but the first pricing tier is a bit expensive.

More integrations than IFTTT, but more limitations
Vorteile
Lots of integrations with third party software, also plenty of ways to get things done automatically without any hassle.
Nachteile
The free plan is really limited, the paid plans are really really expensive. I'd rather use Integromat, but sometimes Zapier has integrations that IM does not.

With zapier it is very easy to integrate software, it provides a robust way to automate my services and let them "talk to each other".
Nachteile
The cost is a bit expansive in my opinion, they should reduce it a little bit, zapier has a steep learning curve but it's impossible to learn.

Thanks to Zapier for making us more efficient
Learning to use the integrations was pretty simple. I was able to jump right in and start programming my 'Zaps.' We used to have to import the registrants and then the attendees into InfusionSoft. Zapier now does the work for us.
Vorteile
We like to track registrants and attendees through InfusionSoft by Keap. Zapiers integrations with Zoom and GoToWebinar allows us to observe the numbers while Zapier manages the integration with the various softwares.
Nachteile
Was difficult to receive any communication from anyone at Zap. I spoke to a representative at Keap who spoke highly of Zapier and was aware of other InfusionSoft users utilizing Zapier successfully. This is what caused me to move forward with utilizing Zapier.

Zapirer is a very complete solution for integrating services, in the same line as IFTTT, but in a more professional way.
Nachteile
Zapier has the concept of recipes, but they are not as clear to setup the competitor's solution

There are a lot of functionalities and integrations available on zapier. I use it to integrate software between software and other apps.
Nachteile
Although there are support articles, it's not very easy to use and there's no phone support. However, email support was pretty quick.

Good for those who need it
Vorteile
I liked being able to connect different apps together with automatic functions.
Nachteile
It is not a con for the software more of a con of not needing to use the software. I did not use the software very much because I did not have many tasks I could think of to automate.

I use the free level of Zapier and I love it. It supports to many apps and really makes my job easier in terms of automating some of my work.
Nachteile
I think that the way to manage folders could be easier and more user friendly. Also it doesn't work with mobile apps, but this only affects my work somewhat.

It has been very positive so far!
Vorteile
Zapier make "If this/then that" incredibly easy! I have been able to automate a lot of my processes across my entire business thanks to them! Not only is it effective, but the step by step guide makes it easy to use on day 1!

I am glad that it was a free trial so I can try it out before I wasted money.
Nachteile
It could have been the programs that I tried to use this with, but it was way too difficult for me to use. I couldn't even get through the set up, so I just gave up. It was way too frustrating and not to user friendly and too much terminology to use.

Great tool for API
I have used this to create APIs between a few different web based software solutions. I am still a baby user, I haven't done much yet, but what I have done has left me impressed with Zapier. I have even contacted customer support for an API I couldn't get to work right. The customer support was excellent.

So unique, and very useful
Vorteile
Its quite incredible that an app can essentially take over for my human function. I can automate so much of what I do on my computer through Zapier.
Nachteile
I suppose more app compatibility would be appreciated, but that's something that can be built over time. As is, its a great program.

I love the integrations. They have more than anyone in the entire space. 1000's+ and they are constantly adding new ones.

Better than IFTTT for serious automation
Zapier is the glue that combines the services you care about. It does that job VERY well and has a ton of flexibility built in. If you can conceive of a way to combine services and they have reasonable apis or data import/export, you can build it.
It has been very reliable for us and helps us do things like take data feeds and turn them into amazing Google sheets without having to write any real code.

As soon as a user opts in on my contact form, they are added into a master spreadsheet so I can keep track of them. The entire process is automated via zapier parser & zapper to google sheet integration

Best way to connect apps to Salesforce
We had trouble smoothly getting data into Salesforce with some of our other services, but this has made it a piece of cake.
Vorteile
This was incredibly easy to set up and start creating "zaps". It has been the easy way to get data into salesforce by far. I'm really impressed.
