Good tool for data collection and analyzation
So far I've had positive experiences with Pendo and will continue to use it in the future.
Vorteile
What I like most about Pendo is it's functionality. You can track consumer usage, where they click, how often they visit specific pages, etc. and all sorts of other things. It's been a great tool to gather data in order to back product initiatives.
Nachteile
It can be tricky to get a hang of using Pendo at first because of all that it has to offer but there are plenty of help resources to guide you as you're getting started.

Great software but comes at steep price

This is exactly what we needed to get started with our user onboarding and tracking analytics. They do things very well in both areas
Nachteile
The price, for being a small team a month is a rediculous starting price for something like pendo. I love the people we've worked with over there but with a company as large as this.

Vorteile
It collects the data necessary to see adoption of features in the system. It allows for easy creation of walkthroughs in the software.
Nachteile
It is not that user friendly, and we did not get a lot of help in the setup from Pendo. It's tough to aggregate the data in a way that's useful to our team.

Has great visual outputs but data being outputted is not accurate

Visual diagrams - metrics that is states it is reporting out
Dashboard is very visual pleasing and concise
Nachteile
The data reporting out is not accurate. # of clients is showing a count hire than the number of clients we have - which leads us to question all other data

Solid product analytics & comprehensive NPS tool
Vorteile
It is very easy to get a view of product usage at the highest level and when drilling down into the details. The NPS survey capabilities are also simple to use and increased our understanding of what's working well for our customers and where we have opportunities.
Nachteile
In using the NPS tool in the platform, it would be helpful to be able to set up segments based on usage parameters.

I like how customer service is always ready to help you with any question you have, they instruct you well and treat you as an equal.

Powerful analytics tool
Vorteile
Pricing model (based on active users and not events). Easy to set up events. Captures all events historically even if you aren't tracking them in the UI. Good to work with.
Nachteile
Has some issues -- stuff breaks every once in awhile. Still fairly new and building out features. Waiting for mobile tracking to be integrated into main Pendo and come down in price.

Great tool for marketing

We've found this tool to be helpful for in-app messages and walk-through tutorials. It's fairly easy to use and, when necessary, talking to customer support is always a pleasure.
Nachteile
I would like it if there were more resources for using Pendo as a marketer. I feel like there is functionality that I haven't taken advantage of yet.

In-depth product feature usage feedback!
Pendo is well done and has helped our teams to get useful insights from the different aspects of our app.
Vorteile
Extremely easy to integrate with an existing app and setup analytics with the click on few buttons.
Nachteile
The setup gets a bit tricky if the configuration for Pendo servers (to which the data is published) have to be changed.

So easy to get up and running! Feature packed. 10/10 for customer support.

It had every feature we were looking for in this type of solution the day we first got it, plus more. Great analytics, super easy to create, publish and manage content. Highly configurable and customizable for a novice. Crazy customizable and configurable for UX designers and programmers.

Easy to implement
Vorteile
It too minimal time and effort to set up Pendo in our product.
Nachteile
The dashboard was quite buggy, i.e. clicking some links just take you to a blank page and you have to force refresh the page to get it to load. (No ad-blockers installed)

Great analytics, but needs more depth.
We use Pendo to track features, pages, and run NPS surveys in our SaaS application.
Vorteile
The insight that is gained through the ability to track specific features and pages.
Nachteile
The fact that I have no idea how long a user stay on a page, or the flow that they used to navigate around our software. Would LOVE some recreation of user flows based on the where users click. This would make pendo 10/10.

Pendo for Trials
This is great for our inbound experience because it let's be get engaged with new prospects.
Vorteile
I really enjoy using Pendo to be able to track what my prospects are doing while they are in our platform. Great way to get the cosumer enaged.
Nachteile
I would say that there is still a lot that pendo can offer, but try to start organized with the product and where to go gets confusing.

Fantastic tool for product managers
Vorteile
Love the ability to quickly post announcements and guides with zero code. Very easy to implement Pendo and see stats on how users use our product.
Nachteile
Would like Pendo to capture screen size and browser, O/S use by visitor. Would be nice to be able to easily tag and record each individual form element to see what users are doing when filling out a form.
