I like the fact that it is not as expensive as its competitors and I have discovered interesting things about our database, even for recipients with very new addresses.
Being an agency helped us for our own actions, but also for our partners and clients that are doing lead generation campaigns.

I did not identify specific things that I did not enjoy. We've started using it even before they had an API to offer, so we did see the evolution and we enjoy using it.

Large lists can take awhile.

There is an email status called 'catch-all' that certain domains fit into. Instead letting me run 10,000 emails from that same domain that end up being the same ambiguous status, it would have been a nice feature to warn me after the first one and not charge for to next 9,999. I ended up breaking lists up and running shorter lists to save time and money.

Zerobounce is great for email validation. The API allows for easy use and the data provided on emails is consistently accurate and has helped us decrease bounce rates and improve outreach. Documentation is constantly being added and there is a lot of information on how to use the tools.

The bulk data validation tool on the website takes a long time.

It was intuitive and easy to use. I had my file uploaded in minutes and the results were returned in a few minutes. I imported the results and the only bounces were from emails that could not be validated and were marked by ZeroBounce as such.

Ability to add large email list files and have them cleaned up through the platform, while also having the ability to keep them stores on the platform. It was also cool to see the password protection in the confirmation emails to protect the list ownership as well.

Nothing really stood out to me as a negative when using the site. I had an older list that needed some cleaning up, and that's what the platform did for me.

I looked at a couple of different services and with their bulk discounts they were one of the cheapest once bulk discounts were included (my company needed over 40k credits)

The software was pretty easy to use. Uploaded my contact list in CSV format and it took about 2 hours to sift through it.

They didn't catch all the invalid emails. Of about 40,000 on our contact list they took out 2,500 and left about 150 invalid emails still on our list

If you have an email list that's not confirmed, you'll need to debug it first or you will be banned pretty quickly. I didn't know it until I sent my first email campaign and Amazon SES blocked my account, I wish I knew ZeroBounce before, they offer a highly accurate service that will tell you which emails to trust and reduce the chances of being blocked. On my last batch, they filtered out around 15.000 emails of my 60.000 list.

UI is pretty old and confusing. They are working on a new interface though.

The thing that drew me in the most was at first the price for the service. After using it for the first time I fell in love with the speed of the list cleaning service then followed by the performance my cleaned email list had. After a couple of months they made some enhancements to their user interface and now they are by far my favorite List Cleaning site.

I've been an user of different List Cleaning services for quite a long time and the only thing I personally dislike specifically about Zero Bounce is that it gives me a bit more information that I need about the emails that I upload to be scanned.

I use this tool to scrub my list before a cold email campaign. It lets me know which email addresses are inactive, may pose delivery problems, etc. The customer service is fantastic - I've only had to get in touch with them one time because the software got stuck at a point in the process, but they solved it quickly with minimal effort from me.
