As a user I can say that the free version it offers is great, based on my experience with the software I never had any problems with viruses or anything, I recommend it to everyone.

Nachteile

Simple, uncomplicated, and easy to use, I recommend that you keep your files safe.

It is so easy to use. you just install, pick your settings, and let it run in the background. It keeps you safe while you just do you.

the ad pop ups in the bottom right corner for promotions and such are annoying and hard to close once they pop up the x is so small I often click the ad on accident

it is very easy to operate even for non-specialist, itd fast and lighteight, and have great additional tools like VNP solutions

It will install itself into your computer then you can't get rid of it very easy.
It does not do a very good job with viruses or finding much.

AVG is a long companion right from the start of school.
In terms of downloading data, I fall a little over the line of the average user, with a minimum of 10GB per week. Many a time exe. files and a lot of corrupt files are downloaded which significantly hampers the laptop performance.
With features like Webcam and Ransomware protection AVG keeps the virus at bay.
Best part is that a single subscription cover all the PC in the house.

Nachteile

There are two feedback I would personally like to share:
1- Once a user has subscribed and installed the paid AVG package, the notification cavalcade starts. The idea behind notification pop ups is to ensure customer is aware about features of products but it plays a negative role if done too frequently thus impacting on the overall customer experience.
2- The pricing of the subscription is slightly higher as compared to other security players in the market.

This is very hard for me because I have tried AVG several times and have hated it each time. However, the thing I liked the most was the price.

- Won't actually pick up real threats on your PC. When it does pick one up, it has a very hard time actually removing it. It will then tell you the virus has been removed, but your real security program will still see it. I would recommend Norton and Malwarebytes to this program 100 times over.

As a positive I mention the possibility of testing the antivirus in the free version and if you like you can use the paid version. It is an easy to use upgrade software and does not require a powerful machine. I had no problem with compatibility with other software when using free antivirus version.

As negative points I did not notice anything that caught my attention the free version is not the one that should be used because it does not offer 100% security should only be used as a test. I've already used other antivirus and they all match.
