It's not necessarily the best, but it's easy to use
Since it was free, I am not too worried, but I wish it were more robust.
Vorteile
I only have this installed on one computer and I don't use it that often, but it gets the job done when I do need it.

The pop-ups and constant updates really don't seem necessary.

Okay
It's alright, I never bought it so maybe it has saved some people from viruses. I personally just use a free software for viruses which has saved me a few times.

Was given a trial when I got my PC which is nice I suppose.

After the trial ended annoying notifications constantly show to buy the software.

Poor security software, difficult to uninstall
Awful, slow, hard to uninstall.
Vorteile
I liked the fact I was able to use AVG for free, albeit with limited functionality after the free trial. I did end up going back to Norton though as I felt AVG slowed my device down.
Nachteile
Where to start? Short & sweet, made my device really slow and was a real pain to uninstall. Had to run the uninstaller multiple times and had to download other disk cleaners to get rid of the files that the uninstaller seemed incapable of removing.

Great protection

Vorteile
This software will be on top of any threats, specially those behind fake URLs, basically is the hand on your shoulder telling you "you shouldn't open that"
Nachteile
it gets a bit intrusive, the whitelist option is a bit barebones but it does the job, however the pop-ups (from the antivirus) can get a bit annoying

My experience has been decent
Good anti-virus for home use.
Vorteile
I had received the trial version of the software and it seems to work pretty well. It is really user friendly and has plenty useful features.
Nachteile
The only issues i had was AVG missing malware but that only happened on one occasion and the full version can get pricey.

I loved this because it is free and secure at same time. It scans the PC very well and detects and fix the issue with one click. It offers good performance for scans.
