Gabriel, we do have a training video that we provide to account administrators so that they can decide whether or not to distribute it to all employees. It sounds like your administrators chose not to share the video. I'm glad to hear you have found our product so easy to use anyway!

As for canceling a day off if your plans change...well that is actually a setting the admin on your account has the ability to change. Each organization has the option to choose if/when an employee is able to cancel an already approved day off.

It's nice to not have to ask someone for that information. As for the calendar, Built for Teams does have the ability to show company wide information, but each organization has the option to customize settings for visibility to control who sees what on the calendar. And you are correct about organizations having different needs which is why we allow you to view time off in hours and/or days with a simple toggle button. Our customers who also record overtime and comp days have utilized our custom policy settings to track overtime and issue/track comp days. Dale, thanks for this feedback. We're definitely wanting to work on a new version of the app that adds additional features. At this point it's primary purpose is submitting and approving time off, but we agree that there's a lot more that it needs to do in the future!

Zena thanks so much for your 5 Star Review! The ability Built for Teams gives you to see your current time available and what you've already used is so convenient! In regards to notes, you can submit your request without filling out the notes section. It is an optional field. As far as the accrual of days/hours, that is actually a rate or policy set by your organization and it's likely that your manager or Human Resources department could answer your questions regarding that. To address time increments, Built for Teams can allow employees to take time off in either 1-minute increments, 30-minute increments, as well as half-day or full day increments. These are settings configured by your account admin depending on the policies or preferences of the organization.

Being able to manage your time off, see your balances and usage all on your own, at any time, without having to ask HR is a game changer and that's exactly what Built for Teams offers! In regards to your benefits, you are correct. That is a functionality that Built for Teams offers, but is a company setting to determine how that is displayed. Thank you again for your review!

In reference to transparency, each organization does have custom settings they can utilize to determine what information they would like to display and to whom. Your concern might be best addressed with your Company Admin or HR Director as this is not a lack of function within the Built for Teams software itself.

Hi Tiffany! Built for Teams does offer a lot of other features beyond just PTO. We have employee documents that can be signed online, onboarding, recruiting, asset tracking, timesheets, and more.

One of the great things about Built for Teams is we offer tiers of service, meaning if all your organization needs is PTO tracking, that's what you can get. But some of our other tiers include time sheets with a clock in/out feature (along with our mobile app) as well as a very robust Org Chart just to name a few!
