Built for Teams can accommodate any type of time off that you need to track. We're happy to work with your company to set up an additional category of time off if necessary!

Thanks for the review! Please note that Built for Teams DOES allow you to request time off using hours; your company, however, has opted to restrict you to using half or full day increments instead. If your account administrators would like to change that setting we're happy to help them do so!

If you are looking to combine your own events with your Built for Teams calendar, there is a feature that allows the Built for Teams calendar to be synced to an external calendar like Google or Outlook using iCal feeds. Please reach out if you would like some further information on that.

In reference to being able to view others time off, Built for Teams does have a robust calendar feature which has the capability to be seen by all. However, each organization has the ability to set permissions on who can see what on that calendar.

When an organization with a large employee base uses our calendar system, they most often elect to utilize our custom view settings where the calendar view or iCal feed can be customized to include for example, just specific departments, teams, or locations. There are additional settings that can hide certain events and make others visible. These settings along with the ability to modify current requests are all custom settings defined by the organization to offer flexibility and options for specific needs. In reference to making changes to PTO requests, some of that capability is defined by custom company settings as to when a request can or can't be modified by an employee. We do love hearing from our customers and appreciate your time.

Michelle thanks for providing a review of Built for Teams. Our document organization and management is a great feature in addition to our Time Off tracking. With virtual teams, it can be important for communication to visualize staffing and availability with our company wide calendar. However, calendar settings are customizable to allow viewing permissions as needed. Thank you for your feedback regarding our Org Chart, hopefully you've been able to utilize the recent updates we made to the Org Chart to make navigation much easier. Regarding PTO time slots, Built for Teams can allow time slots in as little as 1-minute increments! This is a setting that your account administrators have control over, so it sounds like your organization has chosen to require 30-minute increments. We're happy to help your administrators change this setting if they'd like!

We actually do have a calendar within the web application. Account administrators have the ability to control who can see what on that calendar, but it is available on the left hand navigation menu within the web app.

Our product does have the ability to let you request time that you haven't yet accrued, but it sounds like your company has chosen to not allow that. Bummer! If you're comfortable reaching out to your account administrators to ask them about this policy, we can definitely help them change the setting to allow this if they'd like!

Have you spoken to your account administrator about this? We've worked hard to ensure that our system is highly accurate so if your hours seem different than what you expect I would encourage you to speak to your account administrator to make sure your accrual rate is set up correctly.
