We really enjoy having a lot of different features available that we can explore, mainly stuff like document management, database, and data workflows. It lets you cover different needs without having to get a few separate tools and ten have to sync them together. The ability to consolidate all those feature sunder one roof is also good for the budget of course.

Nachteile

I'm not sure if it rises up to the level of tools like Monday and Asana for project management. There aren't as many project customization options and it tends to get a bit all over the place when the number of projects starts to increase. It would be good to have more views for projects and more customizations on the project level.

We were looking for something that was easy to use that we wouldn't have to spend a lot of time learning how to use it. And Airtable looked a lot more intuitive and easy to use compared to Smartsheet which looked a bit complex and clunky

- It priorities tasks as per the requirements which makes it easy to work on the most important task in no time.
- It tracks the progress and updates in the workflow.
- Easy to use as using it daily for more than 8 months now.

Nachteile

- A bit hectic when one could not close the task as we need to fills multiple forms to but it otherwise helps to update the task in the detailed manner so that it could be easy for the next person to understand the context.
- sometimes act funny.

It was very intuitive to build something for my own use case and has a lot of capacity to customize it. Aesthetically very pleasing to work with. The formula capabilities are more advanced than other software I've used, it really shines in that department.

There are some limitations related to the calendar and it could use some more integrations but not major drawbacks for my use.

I can sort based on any category, edit, upload files.

I also love that it's so easy to toggle between the website and the phone app versions.

No cons, really. It could be a lot to navigate through intially, for someone who is not familiar with digital asset management. There are lots of features I've never even used because the elements that I DO use already provide such a robust experience.

I'd say that Airtable is most ideal for a team, and could potentially be overwhelming for a solopreneur.

Once you understand the platform, you can organize your data and build interfaces for staff to work within that data for just about anything. If you deal with data and you want an amazing way to view your data, look no further.

The basics are easy to understand the higher level knowledge takes time to wrap your head around. However, this isn't specific to Airtable, you have to rethink the way you store and access data. This isn't Excel, it's a relational databases. Keep that in mind and you'll be on the right direction.

Occasionally there will be glitches where our Airtable doesn't refresh or update. While this is rare, it can be really disruptive to how our team works and then we need to go back and update the work that was done once the Airtable does refresh.

The workflow tracking and creating different project workspaces is a great feature. It even comes in handy to create calendars that can be linked to each cell in an airtable view. This allows keeping multiple events at the same location, especially when scheduling events.

There are a ton of features, and it is a potent tool. However, the ease of use is not great, being lower on the scale for user-friendliness. It is not very intuitive, especially when someone is just starting to play with it. The tutorials become a must to watch when setting up workspaces for the first time.

Airtable makes it easy for our agency to collaborate with clients on content management. Previously, we used Asana but the client could see too much into our internal back-end and collaboration. Airtable allows clients to see the front end, as well as submit revision request. This creates a cleaner, more professional experience for our clients.

It has come with a slight learning curve, but if you take the time upfront to determine the most efficient ways to set up your bases; the time it takes to set it up/learn is minimal compared to how much time it will save you long-term!

The basic interface was very aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand. Great for simple project management tasks and tracking progress.

Filtering was frustrating. It was very frustrating when you created a new entry, and it disappeared before you were able to complete it because of the filters in place. Ended up with a lot of half-empty, duplicated entries. Overall, it was easy to use when there were only a few people editing, but difficult to track changes when there was a lot of changes at the same time.

LOVED AIRTABLE AND WOULD 10/10 RECCOMEND. Soooo useful for project management to see where you are in the project, what needs to be done, and when things are due. AMAZING for collaboration! We used it for our recruitment team for our candidate tracking database. We used it every day to track where they were in the process if they were advancing to the next step, or if we needed to reject them. We linked their GH and LI pages for easy contact as well. Additionally, we used Airtable for our 2023 project tracker and were able to easily organize tasks within groups such as GH management, DEI initiatives, and CRM. It was easy to see what our team was working on, completing or planning to complete.

Nachteile

It is pretty tricky to figure out how to use it at first but there are many trainings to watch to learn. This is probably my only concern with Airtable, everything else is great.

I love how versatile and moldable Airtable is. You can customize it to fit your business needs. We use forms to capture new customer inquiries and store all of our project management data within it. We use automations to reduce human error and stress on employees so they can focus on customer service and problem solving.

We needed to build out a customer portal and at the time, we were not able to do it all in Airtable so added on a couple of other products to make it happen but were still happy when it began to work.

It's pretty much designed like an Excel workbook with columns that can be filtered and grouped. I found it very easy to use, especially since it is so similar in design to Excel. I say it's also like GoogleDocs in that it's a collaborative document that can be updated at will.

Unlike software like Jira, you have to keep checking your particular Airtable link to see if changes have been made to your workflow. It'd be nice if each time a change to the workflow was made, such as a deadline change, there was an easy way to tag or email the person affected by the change.

I have created a database where I can input all the necessary information such as project names, deadlines, assigned tasks, and priority levels.

Multiple users can edit and view records simultaneously, the lack of in-app communication tools (such as chat or comments) can make it difficult for team members to discuss and track changes.

We use Airtable in two distinct ways that are critical to our business. The first is lead management. We track all our leads, the status of them, and any other relevant info in Airtable. This makes it easy for anyone to come in and see the status of a deal at any given time. The second way in which we use the product is for collecting data / surveying users. We are constantly talking to our users and trying to collect feedback on a regular cadence. Airtable has made it so easy to build a form and then manage / sort the responses in their tool. Filtering the data is just as important as collecting it to begin with, and I don't know another tool that makes it as easy as Airtable does.

Nachteile

What will trip me up every now and then is Airtable's naming conventions in the product. It's not a deal breaker by any stretch but for anyone not already familiar with the product, it's confusing to explain to other stakeholders and makes onboarding take a bit longer than you might expect.
