Airtable is very light and user-friendly software. It helps me organize efficiently tasks and simple projects and collaborate with other colleagues on web-based platform. The customer support work fantastic and they do offer 50% discount on billing for non profit organization like us. We are discovering more features of Airtable and inviting more users to try this wonderful application.

Airtable should develop its formatting for the users to view wrap text, provide print view and pdf print, custom reporting.

There are many great out-of-the-box templates for different uses in Airtable. My company uses it as an issue-tracker for other marketing software tools.

Ease of access and use. Real-time updating. Great way for a large team to collaborate on a project and have instant access to the same information. We use it for tracking case details and even budgeting items.

Nachteile

If more than one user is active in the program at a time- changes being made by one can negatively impact the work of the other. Have to pay careful attention to working in the program when others are working as well.

I like being able to connect different records (in our case students) with the option to click through, and the ease of making notes, immediately saved edits, etc. I also like the color-coding and ease of hiding and showing fields.

Nachteile

I wish it had a visible "undo" button (the shortcut works). I really can't think of anything else that I would change!

A simple, online-only visual database that takes Excel/Google Sheets and extends it. Sure, you could manage with those, but this brings you a bit closer to a relational database.

It doesn't do such a good job of clarifying what I should use it for, or how to organise my database well in the first place to justify switching to this new product.

We use this software to keep track of clients and their work, as well as assigning employees to the different clients. Airtable is great because it notifies users when the data is organized and assigned. For this purpose, it's very useful.

The pros of this software also contribute to its cons. This software has SO much going on, so much flexibility and options and features that it can be very overwhelming at first. I wanted to use it to simplify a marketing campaign and track our projects, but it seemed like a project in itself to get to know the program enough to make it improve our workflow, not hinder it.

Easy to setup, lots of options for displaying data. The free version is all we need and includes lots of features. It's a great cloud-based option.

The sample templates were tricky to understand at first and you do need to spend time playing with it at first to really understand all of the features.

It can be confusing starting out with Airtable especially if you aren't familiar with spreadsheet formulas. There is a learning curve and it can seem overly complex trying to understand how the platform is set up. Trello is more simple in its approach.

At the moment, Airtable's notifications feature could use improvement, as it does not allow for us to receive notifications for updating a single column. As a journalism organization, the ability to tell the team whenever a story gets published would be a great add-on.

This software is amazing. I had a massive cataloguing project in which I wanted to have multiple selections from a pick list within a field. Airtable was able to deliver on this and more.

At first, the lack of integrations bugged me but then I learned about the power-up type stuff. It’s a lot like the Trello model.

I loved the way you can colourise, create fields, sort and filter information when using these tables - It was reasoanbly easy and simple to do so and easy to get used to it quickly for team members.

I found that quickly copying partial data from a field was less easy as it required opening the full field to do so.

I was introduce to airtable by a friend and can't believe i have been living without it for all these years. So many ways to format data and filter it.

We've been using Airtable to keep a database of all our students, student applications their parents. The difference in productivity after moving from excel/google tables has been immeasurable.

When you add a field in a specific place in one view it becomes the rightmost field in every other view.

I was invited to work on a project with Airtable recently. With no previous knowledge, I was skeptical of trying something new for project management. After working for a few months with the software I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of templates and ease of use. Great product for collaboration among small and larger teams. Would recommend to anyone looking for another tool to make team projects run a bit smoother.

Feels like a mix of a few other project management software, but hard to figure out which ones specifically. Little bit of a learning curve at first, but once you're comfortable it's a lot easier for sharing projects.
