Honestly, the clean, clear and intuitive layout and design are fantastic. If you want a database software that looks beautiful and is easy to figure out, this is a great bet. You're also able to view and edit your info from multiple devices, which is a great feature.

Nachteile

I have concerns about the limitations relating to exporting your data (I feel nervous having everything stored online without backups), which sometimes requires some extra work on my end to attempt to duplicate and store everything in two places.

Have found this a useful tool to collect and organise research articles/papers to use in my work and to provide the capacity to share this with others when needed.
Relatively easy to set up and get started.

While it is relatively easy to set up a basic table, it takes some time to understand all of the different features available and the best way to organise your information/data.

the ui of this product is really good and loved it at first sight. It seems to be very simple as well as well built.

We absolutely love Airtable for its' ease of use! We love the ability to manage a lot of employee information into one database that is easy for several different departments to access and manage!

A team member, the project manager, really liked the way that tasks were organized across calendar.

Me, the person implementing a portion of the projects, didn't appreciate seeing tasks across a month. It wasn't helpful for me - just overwhelming. I prefer tools that allow you to convert tasks from calendars to lists.

It's attractive to our users from a UX perspective and I really like how I can import attachments into spreadsheets.

The admin portal is super clunky. I have to go into a departing team members account to delete bases/workspaces or delete their account. I should be able to do that from the admin portal.

This is a great diy crm tool for any size business to track all of their data and effectively get their business ahead.

Very user-friendly and easy to invite others to collaborate on tasks. Reminds me of a more colorful Excel worksheet, easy to navigate through different projects and separate tasks by category.

Nachteile

Not the best tool for complex project management. It can get messy or seem overcrowded with so many new tabs.

I love it, it's intuitive and you can use it for almost anything you have in mind, track things or organize events, coordinate team work, it's perfect.

very good tool I do not know how I've lived so far without it, it's multiplatform, you need to be able to customize it more, not aesthetically which is the lesser thing but to be able to eliminate templates and at least some widget

Airtable is an excellent product. It is easy to use and a great way to stay connected and on top of tasks. There is nothing I like least about the software.

I like that there is a "page" for articles/posts and also a page for social media posts. And...that you can link the 2. It can be hard to track what posts have the number and type of social meadia counterparts that you desire.

I don't like that some of what I would consider should be standard features only come with the paid version. Specifcally the color coding of groups.

It's a little hard to navigate. I'm worried when I edit things, that I'm not doing so in the right spaces or will delete content

It's very easy to setup and organise information which is related to each other. Working together on a database is also very easy. The different views and grouping information are powerful tools.

Not all sorts of fields are usable within web forms and it would be nice to lock the data in some fields.

The different layouts and views that Airtable provides is a good alternative and a refreshing feel to what your sheets can do for you.

Imagine have your sheets as a form of database and you can act upon them with visualizations and manipulations.

There is a paywall though and when you reach a certain point, you will feel that the paywall is worth climbing through.
There is a limit on how many rows you can hold at the free tier, but it is more than enough.

The paywall itself, but the basic features are good enough.

It's like spreadsheets, but it doesn't suck! It's easy to use and very dynamic! Also has a Form function which to me makes this program 100% more useful. Also the blocks available are very useful.

Nachteile

Unfortunately the two parts that make this program so useful are limited in use. The form doesn't even allow for non-question sections, like a description text block and the blocks are only available to people who subscribe to the pro version. Great for businesses but for a casual user it makes the program a lot less desirable.

We like it's versatility. The ability to change the visual presentation of each project, the ease of using different templates, linking tabs to each other- all these things create a more cohesive workspace.

Airtable lets you easily manage a lot of data and information within teams in a better way. It's easy to use and has some great features that given time and playing around with can allow you to get great things done.

Sometimes it feels like there is a lot of things on the screen, or areas you can click and if you are working with a team of people that have different backgrounds and technical experiences it can be hard to get them on board with using it to it's full potential.

Airtable is very very convenient to learn if you have worked on Excel (who hasn't?) The features help you waste less time on formatting and spend more time on visualizing and understanding the data in it.

The paid features are costly. per month per user only for slight increase in attachment memory and number of records per base isn't a good deal

It's extremely easy to share and let others edit, and the categorization makes it easy to differentiate at a glance. Great for collaborating with teams to determine who should work on which tasks.

Some tasks might need more people, but increasing the limit on one category increases the limit on each, which makes things messier

Being able to create tables using Airtable's templates was very helpful (saved me time from needing to start from scratch). It was also a helpful visual for me to compare my data.

Very easy to learn and use, versatile, especially in conjunction with Zapier, constantly evolving and improving, cost-effective, has large user support community and good support from Airtable staff.

This program is so easy to use that there is no learning curve. I like the flexibility of having different views of the data and the capacity to attach a file or link to a record.

Because it is so easy, it is apparently not sophisticated enough. It lacks the ability of some relationship database functionalities. The expanded record view can not be edited to a better form layout format.

I like colored filters, makes tables so visual. Just nailing UX and make the primary functions of any table work intuitively is a huge win and a reason why I want to continue using it!

It took time to learn how to use it. When you use it for a while it feels intuitive but some things weren't clear in the very beginning. Better onboarding or user guides will be helpful for new users.

I love how the Airtable team went a long way in making a gorgeous, useful, and very powerful software into something any person can use with success. The UI is gorgeous and well thought, and if you couple this with the power of a real database behind the scenes, you get an absolutely fantastic product.

It might be intimidating for first-time users that don't have any experience with databases, but this feeling soon goes away when you start using Airtable.

It was very user friendly and easy to learn within minutes, and i found it simple to navigate and jump around to different projects and views.

I required a PM tool that included a feature that had task dependencies. Airtable did not provide this.

I like most how dynamic it is. It's an upgrade from excel. We are able to share a lot of information on specific topics and use multiple layers to sort, filter, and sift through the data.

I love how customizable and flexible Airtable is. Also, it seems very intuitive in it's UI design.

As great as Airtable is, it's useless to me because it is not accessible offline. I spend much time each day away from any internet service and since there is no local database other than in the cloud, I cannot use Airtable. A shame really.

Everything in one place. We love being able to merge every one of our databases into one portal an then have the ability to cross pollinate between data.

Not as facile to control data with an iPad vs Desktop PC. When we try to add certain fields to to an existing sheet it often won't work unless it's the last entry on the page.

Airtable is a slick, slimmed-down Excel alternative. You can include images and use tags to make items searchable. The results are shareable and mobile-friendly. If you have a list of things to organize and you're not an Excel or Google Docs power user, Airtable is the way to go.

It's so versatile that it can be intimidating. You'll have to invest some time in the tutorials.

As a user, I find Airtable to be of great help for our day to day operations. I've personally never played around with the back-end of things, but as a daily user, it's great for locating information in our spreadsheets.

Currently, there aren't any major issues. The search function could use a tweak or update, but it's nothing major.

I love the fresh, modern take on spreadsheets. All the reasons spreadsheets are cool are preserved in this app, while adding amazing and useful functionality.

As fresh and modern as it is, I still find myself going back to Google Sheets for things I just can't seem to do in Airtable. Formulas are clunky or nonexistent (at least not the ways you can use them in GS), I can resize columns or rows to custom widths, etc. However, depending on the project, these things don't matter to me, and that's when I turn to Airtable.
