It just keeps getting better! We've been using PH for a few years now: first because it was integrated into another one of our tools, and then directly. It was already great when we started, and the team continues to work on their roadmap and improve the product regularly. I love how easy it is to use this tool. Anyone can create a job and interview with series of questions and deploy it to candidates within minutes. And, the ratings/review features are so simple and easy. UI has also been recently improved. It just does what it needs to, and very well.

Nachteile

There are some features I'd like to see implemented to make Playhunt even more useful, but it already does everything well.

The best part of the software is how quickly you can get set up and started with the product. Within minutes you can start receiving video responses to your interview questions or collect video responses to surveys

Nachteile

I wished they had a toggle on interviews which would allow interviewers to choose whether candidates can rerecord an interview, in case of an error in their response. Currently, if the candidate is distracted during their response by a child walking in during the response, or another problem, they need to submit another interview, meaning the interviewer needs to watch multiple responses from the same candidate rather than just the correct final response.

It sends up to 3 videos as it can let the candidate re-record if they want. I would prefer that it would let the candidate choose the final video they want to send. Getting error videos can be frustrating, but usually you will see one video that is 6 seconds long and one that is 1 minute long and that tips you off which one to open.

While the platform does offer the ability to create customized video surveys, I would have appreciated more flexibility in terms of the layout and design. It would be great to have additional options for branding and personalization to align the surveys more closely with the company's image and values. However, despite this minor limitation, Playhunt still provides a highly effective and user-friendly solution for video surveys in the hiring process.

I've been super impressed with this product. I've actually been using it for other things outside of it's original purpose (vodcast interview rather than job interviews). But it keeps impressing me with how mature the product is. If you need a product to help you streamline the interview process, give Playhunt a try. You'll be impressed.

Not a lot to dislike here...but I guess the UI could probably use some help. The UX is fine...but a little more UI love would help.

It´s very easy to use and really user friendly. No need to read instructions prior to use it.

Not being able to see a pause or an indicator between answers, but in the instructions for candidates I just ask them to read the questions aloud and problem solved!

I think it has never been so easy to conduct interviews through digital media in such an organized way, we have had the opportunity to receive applications in a form, review the data and pre-selected people, send a playhunt link for them to respond with a video interview and generate a much deeper process, it is certainly a new way to receive information and comprehensively evaluate the person who answers the questions.

Nachteile

The only issue to improve is that in the white label option, you could have a CNAME for the system to work with a fully customized domain, not a subdomain.playhunt but a 100% customizable url.

Nachteile

I would like the option to make the candidate invitation link usable only once and then expire. Again, this better simulates a live interview where you can't pause or request a "do-over."

the feature that I like the most is the platform's video interview capability, which allows candidates to record their responses to pre-determined questions. This has significantly streamlined our recruitment process, as we are able to get a better sense of a candidate's communication skills and personality before inviting them for an in-person interview.

Playhunt currently does not offer pre-determined interview questions, a suggestion could be to consider adding a feature that provides a list of sample questions for recruiters to choose from. These questions could be tailored to different job positions and industries, and could be categorized based on the skills and attributes that the recruiter is looking for in a candidate.

Idea behind: you save a lot of time interviewing people with very good results: you are able to see the body language and most of the evaluations that can be done in person. Furthermore, it can be used for other purposes too (e.g. video reviews). Finally, it's available in different languages.

Nachteile

Monthly number of interview could be higher. Quality of localization (Italian) could be a bit better. Apart from this, it is a wonderfool and easy-to-use tool for small organizations

- The product is very well designed- The front-end and the back-end are pleasant to use with useful functions for the purpose of the platform: to make a pre-recruitment more human than having to read a simple CV and a cover letter which are the more often sent en masse by candidates.- I will clearly use it for our non-profit association in order to recruit volunteers.- Couple with the possibility of posting ads for free on LINKEDIN and the solution would be really powerful.

Nachteile

- I regret that the recording starts immediately, as soon as the question is read.- The time for recording is also much too short.It would be imperative to correct this so that the solution is perfect for our use.

It is easy to use both for the recruiter and the candidate. It delivers what it promises. It is a tool for prescreening and that's it. Its perfect for small teams that do not handle a large amount of candidates.

It's a very simple tool, which can be deceiving at first. But as soon as you start using it, you'll be shocked at how quickly you can actually get a video screener set-up, white-labeled, and shared with candidates. Love that we can scan between responses, grade, and leave feedback right on the candidate profile.

Would love to see a bit more customization around some of the text that is shown to candidates when they are launching the tool. Would also love to see a bit more brand control. On the contact record, would love to see a bit more functionality to leave more feedback. HRIS, ATS and Zapier integrations would also be amazing too.

Love the clean and organized UX of Playhunt which makes it so easy to find everything right away without the need of help. Will use the platform for 2nd level recruitment after a first screening of candidates. So far everything seems to work just fine and I hope there will be new exciting features in the future added.
