Customer support is awesome, organized, knowledgeable and follow up is terrific.
Vorteile
The fact that it's online and our company users can collaborate across the country. We have a remote sales team and they were able to utilize the JIVE app on their company cell phones. It keeps everyone connected.
Nachteile
The online portal is not as user friendly as it should be. We envisioned that it would be more intuitive. It's a bit complex and needs some reading in either the help manuals or a phone call to adjust most things in the portal.

Great product and even better customer support!
Smart people. Great prices. Terrific project management.

They make it really easy to add and remove users. The billing is very straight forward. Their project management team does an amazing job!
Nachteile
I don’t have any negatives to say about Jive or Logmein. They have been a great partner and resource.

Jive is a VOIP service provider. Solid user interface and stellar customer support.
It runs our telephony infrastructure.
Vorteile
Jive is a VOIP service provider that provides a very elegant and easy to navigate user interface for small to medium sized business voice services. But VOIP implementation is complex, what is most notable is both the response time and the quality of knowledge in the customer support team. They should be on a competitive short list, but should probably be picked over their competition because of their support staff.
Nachteile
I only have any minor quibbles with the software, but first it is important to note there are significant complexities to implementing VOIP over data networks. While jive's voice services can operate over a wide variety of network configurations, it is very important to make sure the network infrastructure can support the prioritization of Jive voice services on the network or the jive voice traffic is segregated to a router and switch configuration that is optimized for VOIP.
One minor note is the iOS VOIP app doesn't relay full caller id information and does not send an alert when it is disconnected. The UI on the app needs a little polish as well, but perfectly fine for most users.

Professional, Easy to use service
We cannot be happier with Jive's service. Their customer support is always available and quick to answer the call and everyone seems to enjoy helping the customers (us). The easy to use interface makes it simple to change and add anything that you need.
Vorteile
Jive offers many different features for one reasonable price. The main things that makes Jive attractive for a small office is the adaptation of essentially unlimited conference call lines as we host and manage various committees, boards, etc and the available mobile phone app that allows us to make and pick up calls out side of the office. We are always in and out of the office and being able to answer all calls remotely is game-changing.
Nachteile
Though the available mobile app is handy and arguably the most utilized feature we use, it often kicks us out without notice and forces us to login over and over.

Using Jive
Replacing old Nortel PBXes, other VOIP implementations, and other patchwork phone systems is nice -- once all the kinks are worked out of a Jive PBX for a client it's pretty great. The Tier 2 / 3 Support is also excellent, when they are needed.
Vorteile
Lots of features. Once configured properly, it works very nicely and we have had few issues for production PBXes.
Nachteile
Lots of features - some of the management through the GUI to turn on or adjust features is unintuitive and probably unnecessarily so. Some of resolutions for issues seen during migrations to Jive took too long -- considering how critical regular phone service is for business, even now with all of the other communications tech options available.

Welcome to the 21st Century
Realized a great cost savings over the POT line service over broadband that we replaced. This is our first foray into IP phones and we waited until we could get fiber service before making the switch. LOVE being able to manage in the cloud!
Vorteile
Full featured yet clean interface. Easy to get familiar with. LOVE not having to have the PBX hardware on site.
Nachteile
The Chrome plugin is a little clunky. I go back and forth using it sometimes and disabling it for a while sometimes.

Jive Rocks!
I love Jive as a telephony solution. I m never unavailable anymore. It is seamless to our clients even when managing several different lines. Great product, and not only do I recommend it here, but I have also recommended it to friends who are now happy Jive customers too.
Vorteile
I love how fully featured the software is, its simplicity and reliability.
Nachteile
There are so many features it is simple to outthink yourself sometimes and make your all flows more complicated than they need to be. I do wish it integrated into our marketing automation software/CRM. Not really their fault, but would be nice not to manually log call anymore.

Great VoIP service with just a few tiny kinks that could be worked out!
Overall I'm happy we switched from a landline system to Jive VoIP. Great phone quality, decent customer service. I'd recommend it!
Vorteile
It's super easy to use. Onboarding was easy (at first the rep wouldn't contact us and we had to chase someone down to help with onboarding), but overall they are kind and try to assist. Everyone on the phones seems very in-tune with the online system for setup and programming. Very little downtime (if ever--it has yet to go down since we signed up which was many many months ago), and voice quality is great.
Nachteile
There are a LOT of "incompatible routers", which is difficult because our router is provided by Comcast and is for business use. If they have so many incompatible routers, I wish they'd provide a list of compatible ones (there isn't one--except for a bunch that Jive sells on their end that is impossible to get quickly). Customer service, though helpful, often times requires a "ticket" and then takes a long time to get back to us.

Great Customer Support
I have been able to save time with the click to dial feature. Also, when I have called customer support, for the most part they were knowledgeable on what I was needing, and always super friendly.
Vorteile
The best thing I have found with this is being able to click on a number on my computer and it dials to my phone. It saves time and the frustration of accidentally dialing the wrong numbers.
Nachteile
I haven't experienced any real cons with the software yet.

GoTo Connect - as part of the GoTo suite works really well
Vorteile
We use the VoIP services for our main telephony system including automatically having calls come through on mobile devices, which has been great in the pandemic and allows everybody to work from anywhere but still be contactable.
Nachteile
The mobile app isn't always the most reliable and we've had a few technical issues on our network but nothing too major.

A Really Effortless Collaborating Tool
Vorteile
GoTo Connect works excellently from wherever my teammates are residing. Moreover, this remarkable software is exceedingly effortless to set up and operate. Also, I love that I can seamlessly design custom call routing. I can join numerous essential meetings and calls from my office computer, or through my smartphone.
Nachteile
If the internet connection is slow, pick-up calls become actually frustrating. GoToConnect definitely requires substantially high-speed internet so that attending a call is smooth. This is the utmost dislike of GoToMeeting.

Happy with service, but could easily be even better
As with any VOIP, lots of customizing is possible.
Vorteile
Setup had plenty of customization ability and is very user friendly. Never had a downtime issue.
Nachteile
We switched to enable couch to call from the web as well as tight integration with Redtail CRM (our CRM software). Click to call mostly works though it looks out fairly often. Redtail integration works great when it works, though it rarely works.

Great mobile call center solution
Vorteile
I have used this software to access my work phone from a remote location. This is very helpful for working remote, making it so you can call customers from your work number while using your cell phone.
Nachteile
I haven't used the video conferencing feature as I believe other solutions are more suited for that.

Love Jive!!
overall we are satisfied, however if the contact center doesn't allow us to be able to have agents log in independently from the device for desk sharing we may be looking at alternate options. (jive Web has a do not disturb feature that we are not able to disable, so therefore we cant use bcz we cant see if agents are on do not disturb)
Vorteile
love that its web based, full access to the PBX where I can control call routing at a minutes time. Reporting easy to access. Jive app allows me to take phone calls from anywhere.
Nachteile
Contact center needs developing it is not agent centric at all. It is queue centric, it is missing visibility into what the agent is doing. individual log ins are not available so for a call center that share desk this is not a good product as the data is all geared to the device and not the user. Call centers usually share seats, so this is a major fail. Also there is no visibility into agent status, outbound calls are not identified so you see "idle for an agent " when in fact they are on an outbound call.

Jive is toos
Overall, they are a good company to work with. If I was to compare them to other VoIP host, they are the best but is that good enough. Customers are extremely demanding and being the best of a subpar service industry is not tolerated. They should support their partners almore when it comes to failures on their part. Be proactive in testing and implementation, not reactive.
Vorteile
Jive has made the implementation of their services very smooth. The phone Retal is extremely user friendly for both the customer and the partner.
Nachteile
Jive has dropped the ball on intergrating with non-VoIP compatible systems such as access controls. They have made improvements with this but it’s still a point of frustration. Jive also commits to supporting older VoIP equipment but in the end are unable to do so on some models. I would suggest they thoroughly test before committing to supporting it.

Not disappointed, but a little let down...I chose to switch from Jive

Customer service was great. The system was very easy to use, once you get used to it. At first seemed like a great value for the money.
Nachteile
I was a little mislead/uninformed. I only need the one line, but I did want a desktop phone and the app on my cell phone. I ordered/bought a new desktop phone from Jive just a few weeks after starting my service with them. I was not informed that i was going to be charged a fee for an additional line just because i wanted a desktop phone. The features and functionality from Jive is lacking and well....behind. For about some dollars more a month i switched to RingCentral and i have to app installed on my desktop. I have to app installed on my cell phone. I was able to switch the desktop phone over to RingCentral. I have SO many more features with RingCentral than I did with Jive for some more dollars a month.

I can configure everything I need to from my administration portal. I need to rely on support for very little unless I want to.
Nachteile
I don't fully understand the terminology that's used. I do my Google searches to learn, but it would also be helpful to have definitions for lay people on every page as well as tips and guidance.

Solid VOIP System
My experience with Jive was a pleasant one. At the time it was a significant upgrade from our old system and is certainly an adequate solution for a small office with a VOIP need.
Vorteile
At the time that our firm made the switch to this system it was a major improvement to our old phone system. For the first time we were able to have custom call handling rules, we could assign temporary voicemails without terminating the standard voicemail, and we had the visibility to see if other team members were on the phone from our own desks.
Nachteile
What I have learned since moving on to a different software is that competitors allow much more customization in the dial plan, address book, e-faxing, and vacation planning. While this system is perfectly adequate for a home office or simple office, it is not conducive to a large network of employees.

Connect center is great for admins

I really liked the ability to check total calls as well as the monitoring in the que. It is great to be able to see who is on a call and who is next up.

Jive Communications positive experience
Vorteile
Jive did a great job of incentivizing making the change to VoIP with a great deal on the equipment needed to get started. They managed the set up process well and the customer support was excellent. Love the Management panel for building out answering queues, ring groups and auto attendants.
Nachteile
The Fax interface is not robust and is prone to crashing and needing to power cycle. We have had some marginal problems with quality from time to time and we did need to change our Router to a more expensive router to handle the phones. That was not clear from the beginning.

Jive is a great price with all features needed
Overall, we've now been able to do tonnes of calls, outgoing and incoming since we went with jive. It helps grow our business. Access is available on the phone, computer or any other device.
Vorteile
I like that jive is really cost effective yet gives access to all their features. It allows me to do everything i need to do, with alot of minutes within the plan.

Very bad experience
Our company was a partner with Jive by LogMeIn for a year. We used them for VOIP services not only for our company but for several others. Our experience with Jive by LogMeIn was horrible across the board. The VOIP service and call quality were NEVER GOOD, the App NEVER WORKED, and their CUSTOMER SERVICE was a NIGHTMARE! Our company canceled services in October, and we are still receiving invoices 4 months later for services no longer wanted or provided. We have reached out to countless Jive by LogMeIn representatives to remove/cancel our account and we only get a response with another invoice. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR SERVICES!

Call mapping is nicely laid out. The video training was done professionally and was well organized.
Nachteile
It never worked! The call quality was terrible even at Jive home office when you called them from a cell network.

Satisfied Practice
I am quite satisfied with Jive. My practice is a small surgical center with a satellite office. When opening the satellite office, instead of having a separate phone number, we were able to purchase phones and create extensions that allow us to transfer calls between offices and eliminates the patients having to call multiple numbers. Jive is very reasonably priced as well.
Vorteile
I began using Jive having received no training from the person I replaced. Every time I have called Customer Service, which trust me, has been a multitude of times, the person I spoke with has been very professional and helpful. They always take time to ask how your day is going and at the end of the call ask if there is anything else they can help you with.

I currently have no complaints related to Jive.

GoTo Connect to Your Clientele
GoToConnect is easy enough to integrate and use that I feel almost anyone can use it. I enjoyed launching it and training my team on it and got a lot of feedback from them as well about how functional it was for them.
Vorteile
GoTo Connect was easy for our remote team to all download on their computers and use at home. Due to Covid we went mobile with very little notice. This program was easy for our team to learn to use to make calls, create voicemails, manage call backs, etc. It was also easy for our leads and supervisors to monitor activity and follow up on our teams performance. We could control turning lines on and off easily.
Nachteile
Make it easier to transfer calls so that 3-way calls can be done and any party can drop off without the call ending.

Extremely user-friendly, excellent customer service
Vorteile
The administration portal is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. I like the transparency and ability to control the interface remotely. Since our company transitioned to Jive eight months ago, it's been nothing but smooth sailing. The voice quality is superb, especially for our hard-of-hearing staff. Additionally, our small team of ten all report ease of use and preference over our previous voice provider.
Nachteile
When we initially signed our control, there was some issue with service interruption and our phone lines not working. It was short-lived because the customer service and our account rep worked immediately to remediate the issue, which ended up being an issue on our end (so nothing to do with Jive itself). Additionally, setting up an admin for the Jive Voice portal was a little challenging although everything ultimately worked out.

Good platform, not without fault
Overall, Jive has been fine. There are many things I would hope to improve about their mobile/app option, as it isn't always reliable. However, customer care is regularly good and the call quality is decent when the app is working properly.
Vorteile
I appreciate that the app is easy to use for the people on my team. The admin setup on the back end is relatively simple as well. Anything I've not been able to figure out on my own, I've received help from customer support.
Nachteile
The app is pretty regularly unreliable as it pertains to remaining on and logged in. I've had multiple days that calls began going directly to voicemail and I was only alerted to it by the voicemail notifications I received through email, otherwise I would have assumed it a slow call day.

A great VOIP option

I love how easy it is to set up a phone tree, how easy it is to set up where phone numbers route, etc.
Nachteile
The UI is a little bit difficult to use without some training. Once you know what you're doing, it's pretty intuitive, but to just be dropped in without knowing what you're doing would be very difficult.

Good, efficient, saves me money but has issues
Vorteile
Automated options are great. The eFax set up is great. I use it multiple times a week. I don’t have any problems with that.
24/7 customer service is helpful since I am
Open everyday. I was able to save, per month on combining my 4 lines together.
Nachteile
Customer service needs more training. They did not know that an intercom option. Whenever I have an issue, sometimes after calling the customer service team, they fix it but can’t explain to me how they fixed it.
Sometimes the reception is a little off for whatever reason because I have had customers call and can’t hear us or we can’t hear them.
The dial plan needs work. I have so many lines and different auto attendants, it gets messy but the dial plan needs to light up between dial plans or something to identify the lines. It gets super confusing.
Everything is connected via internet. If that’s down, I’m screwed.

Great service and customer support
Overall I would highly recommend Jive to anybody looking for an all inclusive phone service. I have my phone lines, fax, and even use the Texting option (which is in beta) to help me stay in touch with my customers. I can answer on my handset, on my computer, and even through the app on my cell. You really can stay connected to the office even while you're away.
Vorteile
Even though I don't like to have to call tech support when I have issues, I do appreciate how knowledgeable and thorough technical support has been. Not only do they resolve my issue when I call they also follow up with me to ensure the problem didn't show up after.
Nachteile
Getting the phones setup took a bit of work. The online support is pretty good but having someone to walk you through helps a lot. I was on hold for quite a bit before I hung up and just started reading and ended up setting up my phones on my own.

If it weren't for the contract I would find new vendor
Jive is always quick to blame my ISP when an issue arises. Calling in to customer service is terrible. Wait times of more than 10 minutes almost every time. Then you don't always speak to a live support rep, but have to be given a case number and transferred to a rep and wait again.
Vorteile
I can use my regular number as a fax line.
Nachteile
The instant messaging doesn't allow you to delete any messages. The web app takes forever to load on startup. Doesn't work well over WiFi connection. Was told when we signed up that there would be a desktop app, and that still has not come to fruition, so have to use a web browser. Cannot delete calls from the recent contacts section on Jive Web either. Directory is not easy to navigate on the phone and you have to click more than once to get to the contact information other than their office extension, doesn't show direct dial numbers for internal employees either.

Excuse me stewardess, I speak Jive
Exactly what we needed for our phone systems.
Vorteile
Our experience with RC (big name competitor) was less then satisfactory. Jive's customer service and plans fit our budget and needs perfectly.
Nachteile
Small hiccups with sales, but we got over that, moved on and now our smaller business sounds like a big company.

Jive over everything!
Jive is so much simpler than it’s more expensive, less customer oriented counterparts.
Vorteile
Jive is what Ringcentral used to be: an easy behind the scenes portal for administrators to easily manage phone trees, voice messages, and digital faxes. Jive allows you to create actual ‘click and drag’ style phone systems. The customer service team is relatively local, well informed, and has ideal follow through. Jive beats it’s competitors in functionality and price. The Apps they offer are great for doing distance work and responding to voice messages out of the office.
Nachteile
The digital fax function requires you to use an email account and copy paste destination info into your ‘to’ field. This process was rarely convenient.

Good sound quality, great customer assistance.
Our business has no phone line coming into it, so everything is over the internet supplied over the air. Jive has helped give us the illusion of having a regular phone system that customer can call in.It has helped us avoid missing a lot of calls.
Vorteile
During set up they are very patient and helpful getting everything in place and working out the problems.
Nachteile
Setting it up on everyone's cell phone, a lot of our people have maxed out their memory on their phones and we had a hard time adding another app.

Convenient phone system for working remotely.
Vorteile
You have the ability to answer company calls anywhere. The app makes it easy to take a receive calls on your mobile phone or desk top computer.
Nachteile
There are times when I run into connectivity issues. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the software or an internet related issue.

Completely free from a cord!
My only complaint is the sales guy that set my service up wasn't as responsive right after the "sale". I had to call him a bunch to get things to work correctly. I wound up speaking with another rep who completely made up for that & really helped to get things running smoothly very quickly.
Vorteile
I am sold on the whole idea of VoIP & will never use a regular landline again. I like that I can answer on my cell or even my tablet with the app.
Nachteile
No cons so far, seems to work just fine for my business needs

Excellent product and great customer service.
Vorteile
I have used several other phone systems and Jive is the best, hands down. From setup to the operation, to customer service, I could not be more pleased.
Nachteile
The back-end control panel is still a little clunky from my perspective. Every time I need to send an e-fax, it takes me about 5 minutes to remember where to find that function on the admin panel, etc. Not a huge complaint, but something I would like to see improved.

Quality service that is dependable
It serves our purposes and was not challenging to set up. Allows us to customize it to fit our needs versus something straight out of the box that doesn't.
Vorteile
Jive voice is very dependable, when I need it to work it does. Call quality is clear and features meet our needs.
Nachteile
If I have questions about customization it's challenging to get a hold of support. Also the options while in voicemail seem excessive. I have to chose an option sometimes 3 times to get what I want. Seems there could be a simpler way to get to my end result.

A great tool for voip
A potent and efficient tool for small and medium-sized companies. For the management of a call center, or between collaborators, to be used on PC, for the control of the VOIP or group call. Good quality of operation and transmission.
Vorteile
Goto Connect offers a lot of services. call management, sms, fax, put on hold, group calls, even conference calls, and many other services. Not very popular, it's for business rather than personal way. It is a powerful softphone for your IP call services. On the transmission side, nothing to reproach and envy from its competitors.
Nachteile
The real problem with softphone is their mobile app, bug, sms sending/receiving failure, notification problem. I recommend it more on PC

Great way to simplify the communication process
Vorteile
I liked that the dial plan editor made setting up and adjusting the IVR much easier than previous softwares I've utilized. We also used to get a ton of junk calls and the ability to add call filters has really helped to clean those up. Jive also allows you to use your cell phone as the office phone if you want so you can still answer calls while working remotely. All around they have exceeded my expectations and I've really enjoyed implementing this with the team.
Nachteile
It can be difficult to start using Jive because many of the features are hard to find and set up correctly. We had to rely heavily on their support team and they were not very patient with us sometimes, which we didn't like. But they did help us solve the problem most of the time.

Great for small businesses/start-ups that want an established presence
Vorteile
This phone system has multiple great features and customizable options. There are endless options for creating separate lines, call groups, voicemail options, directories, etc. Will take your business from feeling like a home office to a corporation with a professional presence. There are also helpful apps that allow you to control and use the system from anywhere so access is never restricting.
Nachteile
This system offers a multitude of great features. The only things missing (but have been said to be in the works) are transcribed voicemail to text/email messages and the ability to send and receive SMS messages from the phone numbers.

Pretty Pleased
I like Jive. It is flexible and works well (as long as the internet does). Support is responsive and helpful. I would recommend Jive.
Vorteile
I love that there is a mobile app so we can use phones from outside the office, or when the internet is down, with it still being the business phone numbers.
Nachteile
That it has to rely on an internet connection, so when Comcast goes down, so do the phones (thus my excitement about the mobile app in the "pros" section). The customer support is good, but the online platform to change dial plans, record messages, etc. is cumbersome. It all works, it's just not intuitive, and I hate having to call support as often as I do.

The ease of the auto-attendant setup makes this the best telecom service around
Easy voip setup
Vorteile
The auto-attendant service has a graphic interface that is easier to use than any company we have dealt with. The free additional features is a big plus, where a lot of companies nickel and dime you. 24/7 customer support is helpful and allows you to configure off hours.
Nachteile
So far we have little to complain about. There is no cost effective way to run multiple phones for one individual, without paying multiple device fees. So if you have a phone in the office, and at home, you are paying double. A visual mapping of where calls are directed for an individually selected phone would be useful, but we haven't had any issues to complain about.

Get Jive For Your Office!
Excellent! The software was easy to setup and I have had no problems in the year we have been using their services.

Perfect
We are able to take calls remotely. We can virtually be anywhere but still accessible.
Vorteile
Sound is great. Have not experienced any static or glitching during calls. I love that we no longer have to be stuck to our desks to answer the phone. Calls from clients can easily be routed to my mobile phone.
Nachteile
Nothing. It's a great price for what you get. Even my co-workers are easily accessible on the Jive interface.
