Best VoIP Software
Vorteile
We have been using Vonage for a long time now and never faced any issues with the services. Customer support is par excellence and always ready to help. Voice quality is best even the mobile app for Vonage is best.

Confusing setup and service but good to use
The site is really good and easy to use once you learn it. You can manage it yourself without having to deal with service calls all the time. It is much cheaper than dealing with the phone company or some in house system as well. It is a good service.
Vorteile
They built a great site and give you control over everything. I can go in and setup things without relying on customer service for everything which is really nice. Customer service was very friendly and helpful with my questions. The equipment seems good too and at least the same or less cost than phone equipment with other services.
Nachteile
You have to learn some new terminology and how their system works. I wish they would incorporate definitions into their site to help you understand things better. The initial sign up was also very confusing. I got a lot of emails (too many) and wanting to setup an appointment. The appointment really didn't seem to be setting up my account services to our needs but a general overview of the site.

Great VOIP product with great administrative software
The service works excellent and is a great price. The account administration software is easy to understand and use. THey have made updates to make even easier to use and I like it.

The account administration software is very intuitive and easy to understand. I can do most anything with my account in this software and the changes happen as soon as I hit save
Nachteile
In the past they have had glitches where my saved recorded voicemail greetings have been lost and I have to re-record them. I wish it would notify you automatically when the message changes so I would know before a customer lets me know.

It was very user friendly and I did not require any training. The contacts dictionary was quite helpful and allowed me to add new contacts with no issues unlike zoom.
Vorteile
Integration with JobDiva and ability to keep a count of calls made over the period of time. App on phone, computer and connection to Desk phone were seamless.
Nachteile
The messages did not have the attachment option at the time making it difficult in my line of work where some were comfortable texting documents over.

Great phone system
It has been nothing but positive, it’s simple to use and is very convenient. I will continue to recommend this to friends and business owners

I enjoy this phone system I use it everyday when I call clients. It tracks how long you have been on the call and then allows you to input notes into its system and then it syncs with my salesforce. This makes keeping notes a lot easier

So far I have not found anything I do not like. Having this software makes its simpler to do my job and do it with efficiency

A decent Voip with lots of options (great for small teams)

Excellent for Remote Businesses
I have a company based in the united states but I live abroad. Vonage has made it possible for me to stay in contact with my American clients without them even realizing i'm not in the country.
Vorteile
Voice to text feature is very important to me as I'm not always in the correct setting to listen to the messages we receive. It's fairly accurate and only seems to have issues with certain accents. The fair pricing and excellent customer service makes Vonage the choice that you are sure to pic.
Nachteile
At this pricing and the quality of the service, I have no cons.

Great App and Best Customer service!
As a small business we had the advantage of using features that Vonage provided such as a mobile app and advanced business features, like call transfer and conference calling. In fact, the help and support provided by Vonage during times of trouble through email and phone support was good.
Vorteile
Vonage is a great telecoms business and their calling services gives alternatives to both private calling plans and universal telephone plans for our business. This notable assistance gives plans intended to small company entrepreneurs and has very cheap unlimited calls. Their plans are accessible for low, reasonable rates.
Nachteile
There is nothing major to report, but sometimes, the call quality has been quite low or intermittent.

Small Business VOIP
My experience was just fine, very good actually. No issues just wanted texting. Had to leave for that and the person who had to end service with me thru Vonage was very mean. I dont think I would return based on that.

Vonage is Just Excellent
Great to have Vonage.
Vorteile
I have been using Vonage from last 5 years. Its a great think for International calling. The Vonage Mobile Application also do the similar Job. Vonage call quality are really good and the cost of using Vonage is very less. Call forwarding feature really works well. The voice mail are converted into text and sent on your email id is the best feature i like.
Nachteile
i didn't really found any cons in Vonage, but the application of Vonage of phone something Lag a lot.

Have two Vonage lines for work purposes.
Vorteile
Easy to use right out of the box. All I had to do was set up the box, and plug it in, and everything was working as it should be. Really enjoy the emailed voice mails. No more waiting to get home just to check the voice mail.
Nachteile
No issues with Vonage. When I first set up my account they assigned my a number that was already in use by another business.. They were very responsive to doing everything they could to fix the problem.

Good system with many features.But lots of small issues that need to be resolved.
There are alot of great features with this solution but some are things we dont need and dont use. Just do your research and make sure its something that you actually need and want to pay for. Also make sure you equipment is compatible with there system so you are not hit with unexpected costs to make your system work like it is supposed to.

Lots of good features that allow me to use my business phone anywhere. Even though there were a lot of problems starting our i was always able to get in tough with customer service quickly.
Nachteile
Lots of things that need to be set up at the beginning of the process. Had lots of issues to start out with most of which were resolved by changing a firewall out that was not compatible with vonage's system. They knew what firewall I had from the beginning took them a month to realize that is was one that does not play well with Vonage's system.

Game changer for my business
Vorteile
I used to carry two cell phones - one personal and one business. Then I got vonage and now I can answer (or not) business calls from my personal cell. I can also send a patient a quick text if I’m not available to my scheduling webpage. Pro tip: if you have an iPad, you can create keyboard “text replacements” in settings and with a couple of click, you can generate responses to customer calls or texts when you are away from the office.
Nachteile
Now cons so far. Every once in a blue moon the app will kick me out and want to me renter my password which I can never remember but that’s not their fault!

Vonage is a great product. You can download the app on the ohone and anwer your phone line from your cell phone or when your in the office turn the app on mute so your phone doesn't ring on your cell.

Continued to Charge My Card after Porting My Number
I ported my account to another Vonage account 3 billing cycles ago. I requested Vonage cancel my current account. I have contacted them 4 times now and requested a refund for continuing to charge my saved debit card and told them they no longer have authorization to charge it. It has been 2 months and I am still waiting for a refund. If you are looking for VOIP, I suggest using a service that doesn’t require you to give a card to activate your service.

This app helps all the people to access their vonage account at home also because many people from India also uses this app mostly recruiting companies. The app has a great UI which attracts the users to use it on daily basis. The great advantage using vongae business app on phone is that we can read the messages if someone texts us because in the office on dialer phones its not possible.
I really Enjoy using Vonage Business which give us great advantage to connect to people sitting abroad from India. It has a great Voice quality(HD Quality) and we can hear it very clearly very easy to use and options are very easy to handle.
Nachteile
what do i like least about it? Its the issue of voice breaking sometimes i understand that there is network problem but when i have a great network then also i face this issue. The names that appear when we receive the calls is not the name of the person actually calling us. This is the main issue i face.

Was great until Vonage Purchased Vocalocity
Vorteile
Simple phone system with no difficulties getting around a business firewall. The app was useful. The online reporting and user configuration was straight forward
Nachteile
When Vonage made the purchase of Vocalocity, the quality of the service went downhill. The issues became more apparent after moving the customer service call center out of Atlanta to NY/NJ. The last thing someone wants to hear when their phones have been down for 2+ hours is New York attitude thrown back in your face. The service became so unreliable with so many outages, some for over a day, that we had no choice but to find another provider.

A good solution but not a great solution
We've been running our entire phone system through them for years, the outages we experience are due to the large size of our company and the limited control they or we have over the traffic or internet quality between us and them.
Vorteile
I have a decent amount of control over the account from the web portal. It allows me to manage the account with minimal need to contacting there customer support team.
Nachteile
Quality issues on a large network that they cant resolve, we confirmed Ive done everything on my side that is possible. The other issue is that half the time I call there customer support department I have to tell them how to do there job... very frustrating.

All in one
Vorteile
I like that everything that has to do with our phones is in one place, and there are so many options available, some tools we need, but we do not need them all, so what I like the most is that they can be individually added, cutting cost!
Nachteile
They changed literally everything without warning, so we missed out on some important faxes, however, they fixed it right away & we are on track again, quick and efficient!

Many available features and smooth transition
We just switched our company over from RingCentral. RC was easy to navigate, so Vonage is taking some time to learn, but the transition was easy and the features I've been able to use already have been spotless. Having a softphone availability is critical and Vonage Business seems to have created a flawless version.

I really like the option of a virtual receptionist. As a remote worker, it's vital to have someone "answer" the phone if I miss a call.

So many features are available to integrate, but it does get overwhelming looking through all the options.

No complaints- at all
Vorteile
I’ve been using vonage for my business for the past 6 years. I started using them in Canada and liked them so much that they were the first company I thought of when I relocated to the States. I like that they give their customers great introductory offers at the start. Thereafter, the rates are fair from year to year. If you want to keep the same rate, all you have to do is let them know of a better offer you have received elsewhere. I bet you they try to match it just to keep you. I love em. Vonage is here to stay.

Love being able to get my voicemail via email while I'm on the go. It's also great to be able have my business line simultaneously ring on my cell phone! Makes running a business on the go so much easier.

Can sometimes have poor call quality, may need to hang up and call back to get a better call. This doesn't happen very often though.

A VoIP Solution for Home-based Workers!
Vorteile
Vonage Business saved me and my client hundreds of dollars! I use Vonage to connect with my client, our customers and in all other communication we do as a business. Pricing is affordable for small-medium businesses and to start-up businesses as well. Working homebased had been easier with Vonage. Their customer service is extremely friendly!

It's good that they offer Voicemail Transcription, but sometimes it's not accurate. I had to listen to the voicemail to verify if the transcripted message was correct or not.

- No softphone software for anyone running Microsoft 2000 or newer...
- Not consistently updated.

Vonage
I feel the call center is rude almost every single time I get hung up on. My computer reset and the phone line wasn’t working I sat on the phone for 4.5 hrs talking to them and they didn’t fix it.
When I have a new employee call to get a line set up they tell them they can do it all theirselfs and try to do as little as possible
Vorteile
I like that I can down load the app on my phone and get texts.
Nachteile
I do not like that the phone lines always seem to have a issue like the person on the other line can’t hear me or it echos. I’m constantly having to call customers from my person cell phone.

Vonage - creating best quality connections.
Vorteile
The quality of connection, ease of using, and all the features that include text, SMS, and managing your logs are the best features, and the integration with the business is easy.
Nachteile
Sometimes because of poor connectivity, the app refuses to open, however, that does not happen quite often and is not a problem at all.

Glad we made the switch to Vonage
Vorteile
My company recently switched over to Vonage to be our call routing system, and I've personally been a big fan of it. As a vacation rental management company, we need some people to be on call 24/7, some only during the day, some only on certain days during the week, etc. And these people change, week to week, depending on our schedule. It can be pretty confusing, and at first, the Vonage system was not set up specifically to our preferred plan. However, the Vonage support staff was really great in creating a guide for us, and setting up meetings to make sure the system eventually flowed the way we needed it to. Their system is VERY user friendly and intuitive, once you get the hang of it. Everything is clean, the design is sleek, and the customer service is great. What more could you ask for?
Nachteile
Because the calls come over wifi and do not use cellular, the call quality can sometimes be very spotty. Additionally, as I already mentioned, the flow of Vonage can be difficult to figure out at first.

Good quality at a good price
You will definitely get more bang for your buck with Vonage Business and you still get all of the features.
Vorteile
Having the ability to forward your work number to your personal phone is a great feature. You also have the ability to make calls from your personal phone while your work phone number shows up on the recipient's caller ID. There are conference call options along with the mobile app options that will keep you and your team connected from almost anywhere.
Nachteile
The connection is internet based so if you lose power or your internet goes down, you have no phones.

Vonage A+
Vonage is 10x better than any other solution I have used.
Vorteile
The integrations are limitless and overall great quality. Vonage is a very robust platform and a real market leader.
Nachteile
It would be cool if they offered a product similar to Outreach or at least had some of those capabilities.
