Excellent customer service

We've used Touchpoint in its various earlier stages for years and loved it. The biggest factor for us is accessible, helpful customer service that genuinely seems to care about the client!

Great experience so far!

I really enjoy the look of the system. It has helped us improve our check-in system! For me, there is a learning curve for how to process certain things but the staff has been very helpful and once I get it the first time, I am good to go!

Like the look of the system. The app is very helpful. The check in system has been the highlight for us.

Nachteile

I work with Downline and Harvest. Hard to go back and forth, but I know that is not a common thing. Some things are very userfriendly. I have had to work to learn a few other things like tagging, but with the help of staff and articles, I am getting there.

Great product

Vorteile

Touch point provides a great way to allow parents to easily checkin kids to events in a way that is easy for them, easy for our staff, and easy for our IT. It gives us the security and metrics that we need, while also giving parents peace of mind.

Wonderful

Vorteile

This program does EVERYTHING we need and more! So glad someone recommended TouchPoint to us. It is the best option we found and the pricing is VERY reasonable.

Nachteile

It is hard for me to think of something I dislike about TouchPoint. Just being nit-picky, I wish there was an option to enter birthdays without a year. But really, that is not a huge issue.

A welcome upgrade

Vorteile

Gone are the days of each department (sometimes poorly) maintaining their own contact databases. Gone are the days of looking up a member of the congregation to find 6 addresses with no clue which one (if any) is current. We're now, quite literally, all on the same page as a church staff when it comes to information about our members and guests.

Nachteile

Change is hard. And when you've been using the same (broken) system for 15-20 years, it's especially difficult. We've had some growing pains, but they will soon be worth it in the end.

Meet Our Expectations

We use TP for check in, attendance, and contributions. I really like the mobile app for classroom attendance and the ability to look at reports and trends to balance volunteers and classroom space.

Church focused, customer focused

We've used TouchPoint for more than 5 years. What started as a solution for a single church is now accessible for churches of all sizes.

Not intuitive. Takes lots of training to go beyond the basics and isn't user-friendly for volunteers.

Easy to navigate once familiar with software

It's very helpful as a volunteer on my organization. I can easily and quickly look up my group and find out ages, birthdays and emailing the group as a whole with or without including parents works great.

Vorteile

The home page is user friendly and easy to help familiarize with software for new users. Email function is very helpful with many options on who and how to email people within an organization

Nachteile

Probably church specific but some online registrations get left in limbo because their email is not the same one on file. Puts it in a holding place and kids don't get registered in a class because of this

Excellent Tool for Your Church

I have found this software to be very helpful in managing our giving and keeping records of attendance, member info, etc.

Works Pretty Well For Our Needs

Our church spent months researching and comparing different church management software. What a frustrating market- so many options and none are very intuitive. We chose TouchPoint because of the price, and the relative ease of use for our staff as well as general volunteers we shared access with to keep track of their ministries. It works pretty well for what we need but there are a few features that could make it easier. If you are program-minded, it seems like there are a lot of ways for churches to customize this software more to fit their specific needs, but unfortunately our church doesn't have that sort of person so we just use the basic TouchPoint features. There are also TONS of help articles...unfortunately it is a bit of a burden to trudge through them all to find a simple answer. However, the help support responds quickly by email to help you find which help article will contain your answer.

TouchPoint Review

Vorteile

After conquering my fear of intimidation of this software, the support team came to my rescue. They are so knowledgeable, and that helped me in all the areas where I needed it. As one of my church's Admin, I have to make sure our data remains updated, and with TouchPoint support, I am able to do that as I become more knowledgeable with ongoing use of the software.

Nachteile

I have no complaints about this software. It covers every category that my church needs to utilize.

We are new to touch point. Trying to find answers is not easy.

I am still trying to learn the software. I may be a better judge after using more.

Vorteile

Setting up groups for emails. On-line giving is simple. We are using a check scanner so I like the ability to have the check image attached to the gift.

Nachteile

Getting issues resolved. Having to post journal entries. We have pledges and having pledges and regular contributions going to one fund is not good for us. We like to report dollar amounts collected on our pledges.

Very Helpful

I was setting up Meal Train for a lady in our church who just had a baby. In registering her, I was required to give her email address and realized I didn't have it...or did I? I remembered our great new app, TouchPoint, and was able to find it quickly through it. TouchPoint is easy to use, made it easy to find her email address quickly, and saved me a lot of time over having to get it another way.

I love the app because it's on my phone and always at my fingertips when I need it.

I love the capabilities but the interface is so unfriendly.

All the different reporting you could do. I love that you can create conditions and generate just about any type of information you want.

So hard to figure out stuff. It took me and my secretary all morning to try and print out one report. I am pretty tech savy.

It works, but it isn't very intuitive.

We want to love TouchPoint. It just isn't very intuitive, in our opinion. Our volunteers have a hard time using it for anything. We'd like it to do what it does well better.

Touchpoint really meets every need that we have for a church database system.

Vorteile

The Customer Service for Touchpoint is done really well. They offer tons of helpful videos that offer instruction for most every aspect of the software. When you need to talk to someone directly, they are always there to assist.

Nachteile

At times, it seems to take a few more steps to complete a task than I would expect it to. These are things that I figure out quicker ways around the more I use it.

TouchPoint a great tool for churches

First of all, I really like this tool for keeping up with membership and getting pertinent information about a certain member. It is easy to do searches and to be able to update a member's information. It is also usable by persons that are not computer savvy, since a lot of our users are not technically astute . I can show them once or twice how to look up a member and they can easily repeat in the future.

I also like the mobile app because most of the time I need to have some information I am not near a computer. I hope that in the future the mobile app is updated to allow updates as well.

Please continue to update and make the software easier to enter data and search as well as add new functionality that I didn't know I needed.

Pretty Good Database

The database does what we need it to do: check-in system safe for the kids on Sunday, and keeping track of attendees. I wish some of the features were more intuitive (promotion: it's never truly automatic like it should be. reports: sometimes you have to dig deep for a report, and event/camp registrations: it works, but I've worked with databases like Avectra designed specifically for crm and event/meeting registrations so in comparison, TP is a little clunky). But overall, it's a decent database. I appreciate the customer service and design team and love that they work with specific churches on things we customers are asking for. It's really a great team and a living project which grows in functionality at a steady pace.

So user friendly!

We are loving Touch Point! It is light years ahead of our previous software and very user friendly. We are still learning, but also realizing how almost 'limitless' the system is. Customer Service has been wonderful the few times I have had to ask them for their help.

Vorteile

SO user friendly and amazing how what all we are able to do within the system. For instance, to do a quick mail out, we just select the org, select members and print labels. No mail merging, just quick and easy!

I feel like our training has been very light so the learning curve has been tough at times.

Wonderful Church database that has many automatic features which help streamline data batter

Vorteile

It has automatic emails that go out to new guests depending on what setting you have. You could have it send it after one visit or after two. You can track data much better than fellowship one.

Nachteile

The check in software for kids requires touch screen monitors which can be tricky to use if you already use laptops.

Decent program

It is full of so many options and abilities.

Touchpoint is great and their customer service is excellent!

I have been using Touchpoint for about 1 year. I feel that I still have many things to learn about it. It was a very easy to learn the basics of Touchpoint. Customer Support is excellent! Since I am still learning how to use Touchpoint, I have contacted them on several occasions. The response time is amazing and they are always able to address any issue I have! I do wish that there was a complete online training manual that I could download. I do use Touchpoint's documentation site and videos often, and the information is very helpful. I would love to have all of this information in a document that I could download once. Thank you!

Top Notch! Fantastic!!

TouchPoint has made things so much easier for our church! Not only does it look great, but it's super user friendly, and their support/customer service is like nothing I've ever experienced before! They truly care about their customers and helping make ministry administration as easy as possible!

A great system to integrate congregants

Vorteile

I really love that this software integrates information about congregants, their families, their activities in church, and their giving. It is a great tool for congregants to know about other people in the church and for pastors to keep track of their congregation, all on one unified platform.

Nachteile

It was not extremely clear how to give your tithe through the website, but after a little poking around I figured it out.

It's not intuitive and while it makes things easier in some respects it is not easy to use.

This is really the only thing this data base has that is better than other databases I have used in the past.

TouchPoint is a robust CMS with an excellent Support Team available for assistance.

Vorteile

Many features are intuitive; the mobile functionality is very good; and, documentation is extensive.

Nachteile

Customizable reports require programming knowledge or development fees. More assistance was needed with initial implementation.

Great system and great support

I really like the Custom Reporting that allows me to contact specific people groups based on factors I set.

Powerful Church Management Tool

Touchpoint is an extremely powerful people management tool for churches. An over abundance of tools and search options make managing members, decisions, and classes very easy. The only negative experience I've had is on the support end when requesting certain documents related to our account.

Disciple a Database!

The support exceeds EVERY expectation!!! Worthy of 10 stars! The platform has just about every feature imaginable! We only wish online event registrations could support a "Pay Offline" option (instead of utilizing a coupon). It is a bit pricey as you get over the minimum threshold but overall we can't complain! Highly highly highly recommend TouchPoint as it is allows us to DISCIPLE our database.

Great software but steep learning curve

Overall great software that is very powerful but it is not easy to use. The names for things are not intuitive and the steps to create things like reminder emails for a ministry are overly complicated. It has taken our church over a year to feel comforatible enough with the software to really start using it and the ministry leaders still don't feel comfortable enough to track things in it so we have a few experts do the data entry.

USER FRIENDLY

Overall, it's very user friendly, very visually appealing, and modern looking.

Vorteile

What I like most about this software is how it's connecting members together to better serve God's people.

Nachteile

What I like least about this software is too much emphasis on catering to members and not advocating a feed that may list church needs or needs of others, spotlighting where members can jump in versus meeting self needs.

Old World Meets the Future

From those of us that have been around a while and used a regular membership database- TouchPoint this is light years into the present. Merging the normal with the up to date technology that us "old schoolers" find a bit daunting; TouchPoint has made it easy and common sense to use. I still have a lot to learn, as far as, the capabilities TouchPoint offers. But there are still many more aspects that keep me in touch in the right now that other software packages don't seem to offer.

Great Customer Support!

TouchPoint has a very intuitive interface and is easy to use. Search Builder is a very powerful tool as well! Customer support is a big deal to us. The documentation is comprehensive and easy to navigate. When we need any assistance we get a very quick response from customer support. They are either able to provide an instant solution, or work diligently to help us figure out a plan. TouchPoint has been great! Highly recommend to any church looking for a database!

Great Product, Service, and Support

I would highly recommend BVCMS to churches that are looking for a flexible, powerful Church Managment Software.

Vorteile

BVCMS is really flexible and is designed by "church people" for churches.

It has a ton of features and they don't nickel-and-dime you on features either. Once you've bought the software, you've got access to everything.

Nachteile

Design aesthetics are a little rough around the edges.

Everyday User

I use TouchPoint pretty much every day. Most functions are easy to find and use. Some functions that are used less often, I have to search for a bit. It helps me find a member and their contact information quickly. It allows us to access many different reports. It's great to be able to send emails to just a small group or the entire church. I like that we can run background checks directly from TouchPoint. I definitely recommend TouchPoint.

Do Ministry Better!

Since we started with TouchPoint, our ability to keep touch with both guests and members has improved exponentially. I have not found the limit to Touchpoints ability to help our ministry.

Simplifies your life

Touchpoint works great for tracking membership and contacts as a "CRM" type system, but also works pretty well for tracking donations/tithes. The reporting works well and tracks things efficiently.

Data input has a short learning curve but is a little bit laggy, this may be due to our internet connection, and honestly not an issue with the software, but you connection quality is definitely something you want to consider.

It's overall been a pleasant experience.

Vorteile

It's a lot cleaner than Fellowship One. Overall, I think it's easier to use and easier to troubleshoot if you do have problems.

Great Software for Churches

TP is a great software for any size church. They understand churches and understand that things that a church needs. They also understand every church has unique issues and continue to add features. Instead of being a static program that will be outdated it is dynamic constantly adaptin to new technology and churches needs. There is a large database of help articles and the support team is very responsive.

Good value for the cost from people who know what it means to be the Church

We researched for quite a while before we found TouchPoint. We were looking for a cost effective and yet robust church management system. We found that and more in what TouchPoint offers. And they just keep adding more bells and whistles. The developers listen attentively to the users and make improvements very regularly.

While it is not perfect, it is certainly well worth the relatively inexpensive cost!

Easy to use

Touchpoint is a great software. I came into my current church that was already using touchpoint. The beauty of touchpoint is after I got logged in everything made sense. Did not take a lot of time to learn. It is intuitive, helpful, and well designed. I use touchpoint on a weekly basis and find it to be a very helpful ministry tool! We strongly encourage others to check it out!
