Easy To Use Remote Support!

Our work environment is becoming more and more mobile. RescueAssist allows us to support end users remotely on any device wherever they are on any given day. We can easily trouble shoot employee software issues from any web based brower. It really saves our IT department a lot of support time and allows us to work on other important projects for our company.

Vorteile

RescueAssist is an easy to use remote diagnostic tool. Practically no training is required for tech use and it provides good live end user support. One of the best features is that it doesn't require much employee interaction other than the initial connection with tech support. RescueAssist allows almost instant access to a user's workstation and has saved us a lot of support time . It's very well suited for situations where you can remotely help employees who are in different locations without having to leave your own office. RescueAssist is especially valuable for quick fixes that could otherwise take you out of the office for an extended period of time.

Nachteile

Once in a while it can be frustrating trying to get a non skilled user to connect to the software. It's also not the cheapest support option available in the marketplace(but overall the value it provides makes it well worth the price.)

Long time user

It has always been a reliable tool for me and thinking back I cant think of any issues I have ever had using this software.

Vorteile

I like that it has always been around for me, and that it has such an easy way of connecting with my clients to assist them with their needs on their machines using our software.

Nachteile

maybe not as feature rich, but a lot of the new features these days can be full of gimmicks or just for wow factor. this software just does what it needs to.

Great

Vorteile

The software is a nice way to be able to have IT help. Easy access and useful when in satellite offices so they do not have to drive there.

Nachteile

Not much. It is a pretty great product. Occasionally we are unable to fix the issue at hand and it requires more work to get complete.

It is very good, dynamic and easy to use

the times I have had problems with the systems I work with, the computer department has been able to help me at the time

Vorteile

I can have support from other departments in the company, even if they are out of the office, since it can be used from a PC or from mobile devices, this application helps save the day.

Nachteile

So far I have not had any problem with this application, the truth has been more useful than it seems

GoToAssist - when you really need help!

Vorteile

When you're in a technical bind, this software makes life so much easier by allowing access to your computer when you need assistance. It is so much easier to allow someone to make the changes themselves, rather than try to guide over the phone or through some other communication means.

Nachteile

I have yet to find a con using this software.

Great but has quite misuse

Great piece of software, but lacks the security aspect. I would rather prefer a single run executable session.

Vorteile

An easy hybrid app like the intel driver update utility, the UI is great and accessible. Easy to provide users with instructions.

Nachteile

The fact that it keeps running in the background is quite insecure, no wonder why a lot of scammers use it.

My favorite enterprise remote support app!

Vorteile

+ Set-and-forget - install for managed IT and it's there when you need it.
+ Auto-updates on client machines
+ Allows for clients to consent to remote support

Nachteile

- Versioning is an issue on some machines - if the client's machine does not update, it can become impossible to connect. This happens most often with clients who "break things" and is not a frequent occurrence.

Nice User Shadowing Software

Being able to assist users both in office and out in the field.

Vorteile

This does pretty much what you expect it to do and does it well. It's doesn't go above and beyond, but it's no worse than any of the other options out there. It's somewhat easier to manage than some other products in this category.

Nachteile

Planned deployment of the agent can be a pain sometimes. Pricing isn't competitive enough. Doesn't do anything above and beyond what you can find elsewhere.

Fairly simple remote access support software

Vorteile

As a user of this product, I was advised to download this software by my Verizon tech coach so that they could remotely access my phone to help assist me with my problem. It was a fairly simple and straight forward process at my end.

Nachteile

To be honest, I didn't have any major issues as it was the tech support guide that was the main user of the software.

Can't beat the on-demand session creation

I evaluated for two purposes; one was to remotely install software on org PCs where we didn't previously have a solution we could access with elevated permissions - this met that need. The other was to remotely support clients using a web application we built. For our needs, it was overkill for this. We only need simple screen sharing with our clients but had we needed more we would have maintained our plan.

Vorteile

The interface is so clean and performs so well. I couldn't find anything that I couldn't do after creating a session with users.

Nachteile

Cost. It's a bit more pricey than some other options I reviewed but none worked as well as rescueassist overall.

When you need to help someone this software works.

Log onto a remote computer with no issues.

Very Useful Remote Access App

Vorteile

Very cool way to help customers by control devices remotely. It makes helps when you have a person that is not very computer literate. We can get right in and take control and resolve the issue FAST!!!

Could use some better management tools

Vorteile

I like the ease and small space the program actually takes up, the ability to lock computers and naming of computers.

Nachteile

I would like to have the ability to be able to stop the users keyboard and mouse and policies to where I can stop people from exiting out of the program.

GoToAssist is a fantastic tool for IT and customer support teams

Vorteile

While I'm not positive if my current company uses this, GoToAssist has been a life saver for other companies I've worked for in streamlining our support teams, especially with their amazing cloud-based toolsets.

Nachteile

There's not much that I don't like about this software, beyond your usual bugs and connectivity issues.

easy to use

It was convenient and very easy to use especially for someone not tech savvy.

Vorteile

For someone who was on the receiving end of the support and not very tech savvy, it was easy to use and prompts were easy to follow.

Nachteile

Nothing to dislike about this software. Never had an issue the several times I had to use this software.

I wish every customer service group used this product.

This is a rare situation where I dont know what the worst part is. Maybe its the fact that not enough companies use this.

Disappearing password file??

I can only relay on my experience. I had gotoassist clean up my computer. In the process a text file of all my logins and passwords disappeared. Fortunately the passwords were encrypted and there was a backup on a separate drive, but it begged the question why did that particular file disappear. In a follow up conversation with the company supervisor he tried to tell me the text file never existed. I've referenced that file for over 10 years. I have no idea how he would come to that conclusion. I'm now changing all my logins and passwords.
