Not very good for me.

It is a very good software but our Board of Directors will not use it.

Overall it has been positive.
Vorteile
I like that the software is very easy to use and straight forward. I also like the clean design and functional features.
Nachteile
I think that OnBoard is easy to use but you definitely need a guide once you first start. Personally, I find the privacy settings a bit problematic since admins need to add themselves to groups in order to access the materials for that particular group.

Vorteile
Resources...having an unlimited file cabinet to store all of our board documents is amazing! The convenience of have board info, board member info, documents, and surveys can't be beat.
Nachteile
As we work to upload all of materials, I am finding I can not upload from a google drive and when I can it's typically a link. This is causing some uploading issues which should be a one time event but still.

It has been very handy when having to do virtual meetings because of the pandemic.

OnBoard Usefulness for Small-Staff Organization
Motions are not getting buried in regular e-mail.
Meeting agendas are more easily updated and reports attached as they come in.
Vorteile
This allows our Board of Directors to have one site to go to for motions, meetings and resources.
Nachteile
As the Executive Director, I am not able to see or be notified of motions unless I am included in those able to vote, which then shows that not 100% would have voted on any particular motion.

No More Binders
Vorteile
Our board members like using OnBoard for our board meetings. Being able to link relevant documents to agenda items makes for easy reference. They no longer have to flip through a binder or search through a list of PDF documents in DropBox to find the item being discussed.
Nachteile
I like the idea that we can set up a Zoom through OnBoard though it would be nice to have the gallery view in addition to the speaker view when using it.

On track with Onboard
Overall experience has been great. Working and training with Implementation manager, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], has made this journey an awesome experience. Looking forward to doing more as we explore the various options this software has to offer.

Onboard Review
My overall experience with OnBoard is great. It has reduced the amount of work that goes in to our Board process. It has actually cut it down by half as i do not print and bind etc. We have Users in NY so we dont have to ship documents over to them, they can log on and view each meeting.
Vorteile
The thing i like the most about this software is that fact that it so easy to use.
From an Administrator point of view it is simple to upload documents, create meetings etc and from a User point of view its easy to navigate, make annotations and view documents
Nachteile
So far i have no come across anything that i dislike about the software

Good for the most part.

OnBoard for a non tech savvy board
I like it, but there have been some glitches. I have to get our Board training, bu with the COVID 19 issues, we have had to put this on the back burner.

Being able to keep everything in one place
Nachteile
I wish I could make the permissions for everything universal, then change it if I did not want to include someone. I find having to allow everyone access to everything I post is monotonous.

We use OnBoard for our board meetings and all board members have access and can use remotely.
Vorteile
I have never worked on a system like this but it was easy to navigate through as I was self taught.

Great organizational tool
So far, it's been easy to navigate and customer service has been very supportive. Board members are enjoying the product as well.
Vorteile
I love how quickly I can put together agendas with all supporting materials. I would often spend hours printing and assembling packets. With this product, I completed a packet in less than 10 minutes!

We have been extremely happy beginning with the initial call with Sales to my implementation calls with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] (Customer Success Manager) . I've got to also give an additional shot out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for helping me through each step of the process!

We are new users but I am finding it very helpful to gather all the necessary documents for directors. Board members are excited and know this is best practice.

Learning the terminology - a meeting is a book. A book is in a calendar. A meeting request, and archives are in the calendar.

It was quick to learn and adjust to. The support was excellent. Our support person took the time to understand our questions and answer them with great detail.

Nachteile
Reminder emails don't show name of meeting in subject line. So if you are sending reminders for several different meetings it can cause confusion for receiver.

OnBoard is very easy to use. I love how simply it is to upload your Agenda and add the supporting docume nts. Changing your Agenda is easy to use also.

Easy to Use
OnBoard provides one central location for all of our board materials including forms and rosters.
Vorteile
OnBoard is very easy to use and integrates well with Zoom. The Agenda feature in Calendar is perfect for our meetings - allowing us to focus on specific sections in our board book.

Would prefer if some of the features in the other modules were available in all the packages.

DRA Review
The goal with OnBoard is to get the DRA Board more involved and make meetings and access to documents easier. Customer Service/Trainings have been really helpful, and I haven't had any significant problems so far. I did submit a ticket for an issue when creating an agenda, but I received a quick response that solved my problem.
Vorteile
Creating an agenda for board meetings, and adding in documents where they need to go. The clickable table of contents makes this easier to follow in meetings and saves paper.
Nachteile
It would be nice if the Calendar tab had an actual calendar month layout so you could better see how many days/weeks until your next meeting. Then you could just click on the day that the meeting is located in to make changes to an existing meeting or to view it.

Very easy platform to learn and use!
OnBoard is a very easy platform to learn and to use. I really like being able to work ahead of the currently scheduled meeting.
Vorteile
The two most impactful improvements in using OnBoard for me are the amount of time saved in the preparation of agendas and the ease with which we can send messages out to our board members.

Using Onboard
Great support team.
Vorteile
Using Onboard is much easier than relying on email to plan board meetings, share documents, conduct surveys, votes, etc.
Nachteile
Our only wish is that Onboard worked with gcal, since that is what we use at the office and our board members are accustomed to it. Apparently it is in the works though. We are looking forward to it!

Intuitive Software
Excellent. I have been working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] on setup, training and implementation and she's been fantastic!

Great platform!
The launch could not have been easier and the training providing to the administrators and end users is exceptional. The trainers are very responsive to our needs and check in after meetings to see if there is any assistance needed.

OnBoarding Review - Goshen County Economic Development
Staff was great to work with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been our contact and she gets back to us within 24 hours. I really appreciate that they can help so easily and quickly.
Vorteile
The ease of use, for both the administrator and user. It is easy to set up our board materials and and prepare everything in the program and then distribute among our board members. It is also great to have a separate place to save documentation like minutes and by laws.
Nachteile
We are a small non-profit economic development organization so the price was a tough one to swallow. Not to say it is not worth it because it is, I know we will save our money ten fold in paper savings but the initial price tag is a big pill to swallow.

Excellent product and support.
Great experience. We implemented it and started using it from day one. Our board loves it.

Vorteile
I like the mobile software so that I can pull up the board packets and where. Also I love how easy it is to load the board packet.
Nachteile
I really don't not like anything with the OnBoard software.
