Dans l'ensemble, Intercom constitue un outil marketing puissant pour les entreprises qui souhaitent communiquer avec leurs clients en temps réel et à leur proposer des expériences personnalisées.
Vorteile
Le logiciel Intercom facilite la communication avec les clients. Je l'utilise pour dialoguer avec les clients en temps réel par le biais d'un chat en direct, ce qui m'aide à répondre rapidement à leurs demandes et préoccupations. L'outil permet une communication personnalisée, on peut donc envoyer des messages sur mesure et ainsi optimiser la satisfaction des clients et les conversions de façon générale. Il s'agit d'un logiciel qui prend en charge de nombreux canaux de communication, surtout les e-mails, les messages in-app et l'intégration des médias sociaux. Ce point s'avère fortement avantageux, parce qu'il permet de toucher les clients là où ils se sentent le plus à l'aise.
Nachteile
Malgré ses fonctionnalités et ses avantages, Intercom peut être relativement cher pour les TPE puisque les prix sont échelonnés en fonction du nombre d'utilisateurs et des fonctionnalités requises. La plateforme se révèle aussi un peu complexe à configurer et à utiliser, ce qui nécessite bien souvent des efforts supplémentaires. Les entreprises qui ont des ressources limitées peuvent avoir du mal à utiliser cet outil, mais c'est l'une des meilleures plateformes multicanales pour gérer la communication avec les clients.

Been using for a few months, will consider if I got for paid version
Overall, it's great, but it can bear a heavy burden on a newly launched start-up, cost-wise.

Great but expensive customer support software
We have absolutely loved our experience with Intercom, however when our discounted plan runs out we will most likely be switching to a different tool.

Intercom is absolutely great to use for customer support. Almost everything you would need from a CRM and customer support solution is available in Intercom.
Nachteile
Intercom is beyond expensive, if you aren't a large company and cannot get a discount it is almost impossible to pay for and use.

We started using Intercom in 2018. The platform has changed over the years drastically. Many new features have been delivered that you can call Intercom a proper all-in-one solution.
Nachteile
The worst part is the buying process—many calls with sales guys who you have to tell the same story again. If you are a startup, try to go with a fast-to-implement and easy solution.

Good application to reach customers
Intercom plays a very important role by making it easier to reach out to our customers as it is integrated into our products and works amazingly on both ends. The reports that it generates will be really useful. It is one of the best tools available for customer success.
Vorteile
The first thing I love about intercom is it’s easy to set up and use. We can integrate all of the systems we use that can automate a lot of our support needs and can provide our customers with quick access to our internal support.
Nachteile
It’s a great tool and you can figure it out easily but for some cases we require help and have to wait for support and it’s really difficult to get a customer support or technical support. Average response time for any request will be in days instead of hours which will be annoying.

There were a few weeks when our response times were not where we'd like them to be but we've made a lot of changes to bring us back on track. We aim for a few hours to 2 business days to be the maximum wait time for a conversation first response, depending on your subscription and the nature of the query (i.e. topic and urgency). Simple to Administer, but Lacking Support Functionality
Overall, Intercom over-complicates the routing and automation for Support tickets, and customization and reporting are limited. Intercom provides a CRM solution that is simple and easy to administer, but for the cost, you will likely find a better long-term solution elsewhere.
Vorteile
Intercom was fairly simple to administer. Most features can easily be toggled on/off with a simple button and no complicated logic strings are required to set up permissions, workflow automation or campaigns.
Nachteile
Our company used the Pro version of the software and, for the price, there were several basic Support features that were lacking. There is no ability to merge or split tickets for example, and the Reporting is not very robust. One example is "Median Time to First Response" - Average Tfir was only available on the top tier version.
The "Inbox" system for sorting tickets can be cumbersome, and the ability to leverage bots was also limited by the subscription tier.
Also, tagging tickets as recommended by Intercom makes the task challenging for a Support team - the hierarchical structures are overly complex and can be created by anyone (there is no ability to restrict tag creation in the user permissions) which can result in many duplicates and poor tracking of customer sentiment data.

Adds Much More Value Than You Realise
While the price tag for Intercom is not small, especially for startups launching their first mobile app versions, it has consistently proven to be one of the most valuable assets for teams in terms of user support, communication & out-of-the-box development readiness.
Vorteile
The in-app chat feature (with its cross-platform support for React Native and Ionic) is absolutely the biggest differentiator for Intercom. It is a critical part of our day-to-day operations & every client that has gone the route of implementing it with us has been hugely surprised by the large amount of value it adds to end users.
Nachteile
We are facing ongoing complications differentiating identified and unidentified users. The experimental API available for Android seemed to be heading in the right direction to solve this, but we haven't seen updates on the stub implementation for iOS in over a year (https://github.com/intercom/intercom-ios/blob/master/Intercom.framework/Headers/Intercom%2BExperimental.h).

Powerful tool at a powerful price
What I would like to highlight is Intercom's customer service. It doesn't feel like you're asking for help, but like you're chatting with an acquaintance and solving the actual problem on the side. I think Intercom is using its own tool exactly as it was intended. And that's just unique. I'll be honest, it's the best customer service I've ever experienced - even in the free trial period!
Vorteile
In short, I love Intercom. Combined with my WordPress website, it has revolutionized my customer service. It's very easy to use for both the end user and me as an admin, yet so powerful. It's just fun to work with - even on the go!
Nachteile
I am willing to pay a little more money for a great tool. However, for me as a freelancer, it's hardly sustainable and out of proportion. The cheapest plan for about 65$ is not easy to carry. I wish there was a cheaper option here. I'm sure it would bring Intercom many more customers who will surely upgrade later (if they can afford it). The StartUp plan is not applicable for me, unfortunately.

Best Experience.
Vorteile
I use Intercom for at least 6 months for my website and I like it's features.Intercom is a marketing , customer support hub because I found and use all the important works in a single applications ( like customer support, social media management, help desk, marketing and much more). And it's chatbot is very amazing because it is very accurate and responsive.
Nachteile
I used Intercom for at least 6 months and I never saw any problem while using it. But it's pricing in very high so that for early startups it is very hard to afford it. I think the think about it.

Fantastic for communicating with customers and visitors in real-time
Vorteile
The ability to have live chat conversations with either visitors or customers in real-time, whilst also being able to get back to people when needed. I also like the ability to send automated messages out to customers based on set criteria as this ensures only relevant people get the messages they need.
Nachteile
It can be quite expensive to use completely as there always seems to be another add-on needed. The pay-per-user model is also a a bit unfair at times.

Fantastic app but not so cost-effective for smaller businesses
Support Staff are extremely helpful and the App is incredibly user-friendly and easy to use.

Many complex and targeted features for auto-messaging. Being able to send articles within the Live Chat was hugely time-saving, especially using the app on mobile.
Nachteile
The cost was the one and only reason I have moved away from Intercom. It is a great platform for large companies but it isn't cost-effective for small businesses.

Super useful way to connect with our users, though as a user I find it annoying

Love this tool for our team. It helps us connect directly with users. They seem happy to find out it's a real human on the other end and the speed of getting questions answered is a big deal. It's a great touchpoint for us to connect with potential and existing customers.

As a user, I get annoyed with these pop ups but I think it's up to the company to use them in a respectful and productive way that is not too intrusive.

Great for Customer Success, but an expensive option
Best website chat, and usage tracking. Helps you understand how to develop or fix your product, understand what your most used features are, and also helps you run campaigns to drive usage.
Vorteile
The features that Intercom has for chat are just the tip of the iceberg. The statistics for product usage are honestly the most insightful. Further, developing and deploying campaigns to drive usage are extremely simple and effective.
Nachteile
No feature to complain about other than the act that migrating from intercom to other software can be difficult. Further, if you're not on a discounted plan, it can be quite expensive for a smaller or medium-sized organization.

Even the basic functions allowed swift organization and replies to client/customer emails. Very easy to use.

Very good CRM with weird pricing
It allowed us to import internal parameters to Intercom. I was mostly analyzing contacts behaviors and communicatiing results inside Intercom. It was very useful. Creating email sequences was also easy.
Vorteile
It's easy to use with great contact analysis and emailing features together with inapp messsages. WIth no previous experience, I was able to do everything I needed inside Intercom with no trouble. I don't know the full potential of it but it was alright for me.
Nachteile
Complicated pricing (and simple high price) with some unexpected changes. I wouldn't try Intercome again. There are lots of alternatives.

Help desk articles or pages look better than the ones from its competitors

Since I mainly work on email marketing and creating knowledge base articles, I notice that Intercom has the best-looking KB pages.

I wish they could make the formatting in the page editor smoother. I sometimes scratch my head since the formatting piles up in the backend.

It's getting there but needs a bit more finesse

Easy to set up and get moving. It's been an interesting tool to use and integrate.

2 main things - pricing is a little odd, especially when adding new users. There's also a sense that it does a lot right but perhaps doesn't excel anywhere. Feels like it needs a little more direction as to it's long term purpose.

Widely used
Attaching my screenshot by dragging and dropping from Cloud App works seamlessly and has helped me convey my problem to support teams around the world who has the solution to my problem.
Vorteile
I tend to trust companies more who have bought into the intercom ecosystem. It's such a polished app that looks great on every site I've seen it on. From products to service companies, intercom very popular and my experience through a customers lense is WOW! I like that I can get a response later on by email if nobody can answer the live chat.
Nachteile
I have not experienced any cons to the software besides requesting more design options for the chat bubble and box.

Helps you offer great support to users through live chat, and support ticketing through live chat with a delayed response.
Vorteile
Intercom have one of the nicest live chat / support systems around, looks great, works flawlessly on all platforms, and offers a great experience to end users. It's not the cheapest solution by far, but a useful tool for teams to support end users.
Nachteile
Costs more than the competition, but looks and performs really well.

Best software for stellar customer service!
One of my most favorite software to date! Intercom is truly in a class of its own.
Vorteile
Can I say everything?! Since I start using it about a month ago, I fell in love with how easy it is to use. I really appreciate the fact that I can write notes to my other team members straight from the chat itself and adding gifs and emoji keeps it fun and fresh!
Also, I live for the database and how brilliant it is to pull similar conversations so I could easily refer to if someone asks the same question. It lets you deliver stellar customer service without the hassle of having to comb through all the old chats - amazing!!
Nachteile
As you can tell - probably none. I love everything about it and it’s a well thought out software - the features are all amazing.

Great Chat Box!
Vorteile
Intercom has a great interface and is easy to read. Its very easy to use from a user stand point and also on the back end. Great software and probably the easiest one that I have used.
Nachteile
Sometimes it will not load properly or will freeze up and I have to restart it, nothing to major though!
