Amazing Set of APIs at a Reasonable Price
If you want to do phone calls or texting in your application, this platform is amazing. It makes the process simple and there are great examples of how to do it right on their site. Whenever I need to add this type of functionality to an application, I look to Twilio. I don't even bother shopping around anymore.

With it, you can build applications to address a wide variety of tasks including making or receiving calls and messages, converting your browser into a phone line and vice versa etc. Although these tasks sound fairly technical, Twilio strips away the complexity using a simple, easy-to-use applications programming interface. Registration is fairly simple and involves configuring a Twilio number for calls and messages.

Extremely powerful
Vorteile
It's incredible the possibilities that Twilio gives you as a developer. You can create your own automated call center in a few hours. The documentation is great.
Nachteile
The pricing is great for most cases. But particularly for us, the pricing became expensive after some currency fluctuations in our country . I wish I could still use it. But it's expensive for us now. They also raised the price for buying new numbers.

Setup trial of Twilio for business needs and purposes. Using it right now with Microsoft Power Automate.
Vorteile
The free trial has been working well. Price point per message is fairly low. Easy to setup and use. Lets you choose a number as long as that number is available.
Nachteile
Have not came across anything during the trial that I dislike. I have not had any problems during the trial either.

PCI scope help, save man hours
overall has great capabilities to use and help with streamlining workflow
Vorteile
This helps take companies out of pci scope by allowing others to input their card info from the automated tele operator and the consumer punches in their own info instead of a rep taking the payment by phone.
Nachteile
some of the capabilities such as alpha numeric acct numbers, being able to have multiple languages in the system.

Twilio--a MUST for integrating any communications functionality
Twilio is the market leader for cloud communications for a reason. No other platform comes even close in terms of functionality. Most of us have used their technology in some capacity and don't even know it--it is that seamless. Note that nothing is productized so you need to have resources to build. However, the platform is so easy to use, you'll be surprised at how little time it takes to actually build something. Twilio has truly revolutionized the way we communicate.

I believe Twilio's developer system is one of a kind. However, their customer support, at least the person I interacted with needs a review.
Nachteile
Poor follow-up, poor communication and poor customer service made me choose another software. Sometimes, it's not the software but the soft skills that make a sale.

Twilio is a really great way to quickly programmatically send messages, and is the only platform I'm familiar with that offers this functionality.

Muy buen servicio por el dinero que piden! Twilio es una herramienta increíble para construir una infraestructura para hacer llamadas telefónicas y enviar mensajes SMS. La verdad tiene una curva de aprendizaje que hay que asumir, pero en general es mucho más fácil de configurar y ejecutar que la mayoría de sus competidores en la industria.
Nachteile
La curva de aprendizaje cada nueva funcionalidad o cambios lleva un tiempo para aprender a usarla correctamente.

Two word - Awesome! & Easy!

Necessary for SMS, but could be more user-friendly
It's a necessity to create a number if you're using SMS in any of your CRM automations, but it would be nice if it had some more help/instructions for users that aren't used to coding
Vorteile
I like that you can search for a certain number that you'd like ideally (or even just part of it, ie. the last 4 digits) and it's great to be able to create sub-accounts
Nachteile
It's not the most user-friendly for initial setup and customization (ie. trying to choose only SMS capability and not Voice or Fax), and some of the info or instructions are very code-based and unclear

Texting made easy
Vorteile
Our company uses this for our third party SMS texting service. we have just recently started using this provider for service and it is great for any size company. These services have become a welcoming life line to not having to add another phone line.
