Vorteile

Allowing people to sign up to bring an item or take care of a specific task, sending reminders in the program about the items they have signed up for and allowing people to go back and see what they've signed up for. All of these things coupled with the fact that it's so easy to use, make this amazing!

Nachteile

It can be a little confusing at first for recipients to figure out how to look at what they have signed up for, but once they figure it out it's not an issue the next time. It's also a bit "busy" on screen, could use a cleaner design.

Vorteile

This offers such an easy way to either round up volunteers for commitments or share pre-scheduled signups. We use this for multiple ways for PTA volunteer signups and for our clients to signup for advertising space in our regular newsletter. It works really well for both. I love that you can see what has been take and what is still available at the same time and they send reminders!

Nachteile

It has a juvenile look to it, why can't it look professional! Also, if you don't sign up for an account when you sign up for something its difficult to make changes.

SignUpGenius is so easy to use to set up appointments, schedule groups of people and organize people and items. With SignUpGenius, I can send a link for others to sign up for an appointment or for a reservation time.

While it is easy to schedule events and groups, there is not a way to send reminder texts or a reminder through an app.

We receive an email when there are new events to volunteer for and its so easy to look at the dates and times available to sign up for what you want.

The spam emails I get are more often than I would like promoting the product we already use.

Through SignUpGenius I have volunteered at my son's elementary school four times and was able to pick my time and day slot with ease. The website is very easy to navigate and you can clearly see how many volunteers have already been chosen, as well as any remaining slots needed to be filled. I appreciate the immediate confirmation email that you receive upon scheduling to volunteer, as well as how easy it is to reschedule your time if something comes up which makes you have to change your original date.

It also made it super simple to schedule my son's school pictures during a year where things are anything but normal. While he is attending school virtually this year, it is still important to get his yearly pictures done. With SignUpGenius I was able to look at the 5 possible days provided to schedule his picture and choose a time where we wouldn't have to be around too many other people in the same building in close quarters. It was very helpful!

Nachteile

The ads can be somewhat annoying. Sometimes the confirmation emails I receive accidentally go to my Spam folder and some people don't think to check that location. It is still a great software though!

I work at a gym where we have group classes. We have 4 different classes and we use SingUpGenius to have clients sign up for classes. It’s important for us to know how many people sign up in order to get the class ready for that amount of people.

I think it’s easy to use. You sign up and put your name and if you want to bring guests.

I like that most people know how to use it...and it's easy for the people signing up. The invited guests seem to have no problem understanding what they are signing up for and how to do it. The link to invite guests to sign up is great to email out at anytime.

I believe there are a lot of features that could be useful if I learned how to use them. I feel I might have created more work for myself in creating very specialized sign ups. I wish I knew how to use the reporting features more to my benefit. Not everything is intuitive for the person creating the sign up.

I like that I am able to have a live record of what different volunteers were offering to bring and do for a recent gathering. It took the details out of my hands and empowered my volunteers to make things happen.

I wish that there were some more customizable features and I wish that the emails did not often end up in my volunteers' junk inboxes, which made it hard for them to receive reminders in the days leading up to the event.

I loved the ability signupgenius gave me to put together my event and reach my core audience online. It was very easy to use and my clients seemed to like that they could sign up for our special pop up events.

I have utilized SignUp Genius for other projects, but recently discovered that it will integration with Cozi. I can now sign up for any classes or events and it will automatically added them to my family calendar. This ensures that nothing is overlooked and eliminates the additional work of adding events one by one.

Nachteile

Main page is basic and could use some upgrades. It has been difficult to locate a previous event via the mobile app.

How quickly you can set up signup lists and distribute them. The free option provides a lot of functionality. Allows you to set reminders for sign ups.

Really geared toward the paid version if you want customization. Multiple days/slots can get confusing, and it is easy to duplicate entries especially if it goes to a second page.

It's a free way for volunteers to sign up for events. At the most basic level, it allows volunteers to sign up, which is great. Coordinator receives updates regularly regarding how sign-up is going, which is a nice feature.

It is very confusing and complicated to set up, particularly when you need volunteers in multiple areas during the same time frame. Not intuitive or user friendly. If you make a mistake, it's difficult to un-do.

Several free layouts to use, and so many options!! You can also upload your own photo, so it looks more 'personalized', even without paying more (we just use the free option!) . Easy to customize for your specific event/sign up. And it's so quick and easy to get your site out to everyone. You can either email directly from your sign up (by entering email addresses) or you can just copy/paste the URL and make it public if you want to reach a wider audience! And on an Administrative side-- there are tools, and reports and graphs. You can see how many people have viewed your sign up, lists that can be printed... it is very comprehensive!

This product allows us to create events and put them in the hands of our clients without much intervention from us. They are able to select their events, one or multiple at a time, and also see who else is participating on each particular day - which helps hem make their decisions independently.

It is a bit difficult to select specific events or be sure of which the client is signing up for because the “confirm” button is far down the page after requiring selection of all events.

This is easy to use for simple sign up sheets. It allows the creator to block off specific times and activities and limit the amount of people that can sign up for slots.

I wish it had more features. It can email out the timeslot you sign up for, but it doesn't allow you to unsign up. Sometimes people accidentally click "sign up" too fast and it will register your name multiple times, which eliminates a spot for someone else. You can't delete the name, which is frustrating.

I was introduced to your software platform 10+ years ago. I used that to assign volunteers to our monthly events. I find it user-friendly. Mot I liked that I can assign people to specific areas of our need.

Nachteile

The least I liked that I could not assign someone for specific block of hours, say, our event was from 11am to 5pm. I cannot assign someone from a separate block of 3 hours, say 11am to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm without specifying it in the description window. I always find a way around though.

I work at a preschool and Signup Genius is a great website to use for parent-teacher conferences, events as well as coordinating parent volunteers. I also love that it sends an automatic reminder!

I love Sign Up Genius! It is easy to use, intuitive, and helpful. I have used it so many times for parent-teacher conferences, volunteering in my classroom, and supplies for classroom parties. IT has saved me so much time, phone calling and paper. It has simplified communicating and managing different parents.

I wish there was a feature or a way to send a bulk email to everyone signed u pas a reminder for the party or volunteering.

The ease and user friendliness of this tool is impressive. The notifications it gives to participants makes life so much easier, and automated. Many people are familiar with it because local schools use it extensively. Clients coming to classes can pay, and annotate their reserved places. It makes it easy to cancel as well, which cuts back on no shows from people who don't like to talk live in that regard.

I have no issues but would suggest the interface be modernized somewhat, with a few more customizing options as far as visuals.

When working with colleagues who all meet with students at various times throughout the day, it can be almost impossible to find a common time where everyone is available for a meeting. We would end up sending a dozen or more emails back and forth. If someone is free at one time, someone else was busy then.SignUpGenius is easy to set up and share with a team. We can easily select our availability and then review to see when a free period overlaps. It saves a lot of time when arranging for meetings, and it is easy to use.

Nachteile

The free version of SignUp Genius features a fair number of ads, which can be tedious to click through. However, given the convenience that SignUpGenius offers, I do not mind due to the amount of time it ultimately saves me in arranging a meeting.

I love that I can create different slots for serving and let people choose to fill those slots as they are able.

Sometimes the functionality of slots/dates/times, etc. can become a bit tricky when you are trying to make changes to existing signups. I've had to go back to square one once or twice when changing numbers that we are allowing to volunteer.

That I can create a sign up in minutes for people to join and let me know what they are signing up for. I was notified every time my sign up was changed (say someone signed up for something)

I tried e-mailing out the link to the sign up to a big group and it didn't work from the website for some reason.

Signup Genius is a literal life saver. I love how you can use this software to create appointments, select multiple time slots, mark availabilities, and it will output the best date based on user input for whatever you are planning. Very handy especially when organizing in large groups.

The user interface on mobile devices can be glitchy and hard to scroll through sometimes and it can be hard to follow what column you are on.

This software made it easy for multiple people to have access to the same sign-up sheet with adjustments made in real time so that once someone signed up for a time slot or product, it disappeared so that there wouldn't be duplicate sign ups. We've used this for reserving meeting times, signing up for who would bring what items to the company potluck and what items people would be contributing to the company silent auction.

The mobile version doesn't seem to be fully compatible yet. There are some items I can't see on the screen even if I rotate the screen and scroll to try to find it.

This software has made it quite simple for our ability to recruit new volunteers as well as manage who and when our volunteers will be participating in one simple location.

The only thing that I am not a fan of about the site is that it is pretty “bulky” looking. The view and software could be more simplified with less on the screen to make it less confusing at times.
