It is very recognisable, since part of the MS Office suite. Most people know how to use it.

I love PowerPoint and the variety I have with it. Once I know what I am doing it is easy to use. Finding support is also easy if I have a question on something I don't know.

I like the ease of moving things around and being able to edit it quickly. I like the fact there are so many options already done for page design.

The most frustrating part for me was figuring out the timing of transitions and adding music and making it flow.

Best product of its kind
Vorteile
It is great for linear presentations. I have used it for every type of presentation whether it be for graduate school or for an online educational presentation. It's a great tool that is easy to use and find online support documentation for.
Nachteile
There are other platforms available that allow a more interactive presentation. This product hasn't had any breakthrough innovations in a long time.

Nothing - Powerpoint is a last resort tool, I will always resort to Keynote or Google Slides if I can.
Nachteile
Designing slides and formatting is a struggle and the software does not play well with Macbooks.

PowerPoint has made my life easier as a teacher. I can go to PowerPoint to do almost all of the printing that I need to do for my class. It's a life saver, for sure!

i've been using powerpoint since school, and it has never failed me, you can choose any kind of theme, font add pictures, add videos, music to your presentations. And it's literally so easy to work with.
Nachteile
You can save and send easily through email, but there is a huge possibility the file might get damaged if there is a virus, it happened once to me, but I had a copy so had to re send it.

It is a software that helps you through your work/student life: PP presentations are basics nowadays and it's a helpful instrument for sharing ideas with an alternative method.
Nachteile
It will be useful if a video tutorial for the different functions will come with the software. As a user, I have got a photographic memory and I will learn more by watching a video instead of reading instructions.

Stated above the learning curve is fairly simple but in saying that it does have its challenges. When trying to fill PowerPoint sheets with information sometimes it's confusing on what to do. A tutorial will be best served to clear this up for individuals confused.

Even though it is easy to use, I have found that sometimes the software 'glitches'. Also if you make the mistake of dragging an object too far off of the slide, it can be hard at times to relocate the object.

Great for large audience presentations
I have used PowerPoint for years in my trainings and in my lesson presentations and have found that when I do those participating connect better and understand the topic I'm speaking on more clearly.

Ease of use. The ability to create powerful and informative screens is very easy. The pictures and stock formats are very useful. I like to use comedy as a learning tool and they have some great cartoons in their stock photos.
