Comprehensive capabilities
We primarily use visual to map software functions to evaluate flow for weaknesses, areas of improvement and overall logic.
We work in an iterative environment and need to frequently reassess data posting for consistency across all related functions.
We find the visual representation of the data flow in Visio to be an excellent tool. Visio is easy to use and share and the ability to pan the viewer in and out in large diagrams makes it easy to navigate.

I have a good experience with Visual studio and all azure products and i would recommend it for all users.

Just only tried trial version, it's promising so far.
Vorteile
User interface is the best in class. The best parts of interface are output screen, dark mode features is very good.

Pricing is very high. Customer service is available on just online, not the phone. It should be extended.

I love how VS is made, it's simple and fast while giving you a large amount of possibilites, if you use C# than you will be served with VS.
Nachteile
It's hard for me to find a con for visual studio because I've used it for limited time and didn't encounter any issue.

This is one of the most complete IDE's for Windows machines.
Vorteile
The error checking and compiler run efficiently and quickly. Also, if you need to throw together a generic UI, it can really give you a head start.
Nachteile
It is slightly expensive, but that's to be expected. Some new users have had problems figuring out how the projects are structured and how to assign resources.

I used Visual Studio for one or two of my first computer science courses, and probably the first IDE I ever used. I thought it was pretty cool. It was free, so that was great.
Nachteile
It's not super intuitive or easy to use. I remember trying to link a library and it took me like an hour to figure it out.

Social media posts got easier and it gives you more tools than most.
Vorteile
It's simple to navigate through and easy to understand. I use this to help me with my business and I loved the trial.
Nachteile
Pop ups for how to use certain features are somewhat annoying but helpful in the end. The trial could've had more to it.

Overall a good product. It integrates well with other tools I use and it has a large online community of users for support when you need help (although Microsoft support is minimal).

Great Tool for programming in different Languages
I often use it to make an better looking tool with beautiful UI instead of CMD.
Vorteile
First of all the fact, that you can use the software for free if you only want to try something or develop apps for your own. Of course, in the company environment you have to pay ... quite much!
Nachteile
Very strong tool, if you first start with it, it's quite complicated to use. But after a few tutorials it's quite OK to use.

I am learning and I like it!
I am creating an application to scan the web for content related to a research project. It is an intuitive and simple solution. I work on mac for personal purposes, but I use MVS on Windows computers at the University. I find it easy to use. (even if I do not use Windows that often!)
Vorteile
It is really intuitive. Even for people with little previous coding experience, like me, it's easy to use.
Nachteile
I got many times an installation error. And I had to ask for a colleague friend.

Value for money depending on your choice
For an individual, the pricing scales very high for commercial use, however, the Visual Studio Code option is completely free and supports a lot of the features, but requires a bit of setup. It' pretty well supported by the community which helps a lot, so it's likely that someone else has had the same issue as you.

Great software solution
Vorteile
I recently started using the extensive functionality of Microsoft Visual Studio. If you know the basics on it, you can easily write your own programs, the scale of which is almost unlimited.
Nachteile
The solution requires to know a lot of information on programming. It takes a lot of space on the hard drive, it takes a long time to boot up and it's blocked by different antiviruses, whatever I use.

Visual Studio it's really nice and intuitive for use, there are a lot of great features especially I enjoy using the debugger it's so easy to use. Also I really enjoy the built in server so you don't have to install third party development servers.
Nachteile
There are no significant cons, but one it bugs me a little is that I have to wait too much time to open project and compile a program.

The best IDE keeps getting better
VS 2017 continues the trajectory that Microsoft set with VS2012 of making Visual Studio the best IDE to use on the planet. My Java friends are continually jealous of how many instances I can run without bringing my PC crashing down. Best degbugging tools around as well.

Great Programing and Web Development

The Code editing and refactoring has made it great to develope a website that gives use a uniqe and personable experince for all of our clients. We have been able to keep up with making sure that each part of our website and out app system is debugged any time that we run across any issues just buy incrypting new codes using the Visual Studio.
