Very helpful to help visualize projects.
Drawing on the computer instead of paper is very convenient. I can make changes without having to restart an entire drawing. I also like the ability to print to PDF because then I can email anyone my drawing even if they don't happen to have autoCAD. With my iPhone, I can also just text my drawing to installers or contractors. This makes life so convenient.
I am a designer and can picture what something will look like, but the contractors can't see what is in my head. With AutoCAD I can draw it so they can.
Vorteile
I like the ability to draw quickly and accurately. This program helps installers see exactly the work that needs to be done.
Nachteile
Figuring out how to change lines and text on drawings. Understanding how to correlate different layers is also hard.

Expensive and hard to use
I attempted to use it, and switched to Sketchup Pro.
Vorteile
Industry standard. This is what many architects and engineers require, and it's set up to print out official blueprints that are widely accepted.
Nachteile
Very not-intuitive. This software is difficult to learn and to use, and difficult to understand. I've switched to Sketchup Pro.

Really expensive architecture software
This license is really expensive, but this software is so rewarding that it is worth it, it has been extremely benefitial for our company.
Vorteile
Autocad architecture is a must have for any engineering or architecture business. It's user interface is really easy to use such as autocad, and producing high quality content comes with almost no type of issues.
Nachteile
Be prepared to pay a lot of money for this software. Also you need a good graphics card for you to get the most out of autocad architecture.

It's time to change your working method
Vorteile
I often work with AutoCAD and just knew about AutoCAD Architecture recently. What I'm interested in this software are its special features. When I do Chamfer or Fillet I can review its changed in real time. With Style Preview, I can see Wall, Door, Windows with the other Style in Properties Palette before using. There are many features of AutoCAD Architecture that I need to take my time to learn.
Nachteile
Not easy to learn and it's not free, but they have Student Version so you can use it for learning purpose like me before purchasing.

This will always be the go to software for 2D drawings. I just love the software, Always useful
It benefited me to create my own 2D drawings as well as some 3D drawings

The UI is exceptional. Its so easy to find the required tools to create all 2D designs. There are no hidden sub menus thus doesnt make the experience hard.
Nachteile
The least favorable feature in this software would be the rendering quality. If certain improvements are made in this aspect, it would be a flawless software

It often freezes and conks out and work sometimes gets lost. Would love to see improvements to this as it is very frustrating.

Must Have Basic Tool for Architecture Tool
Vorteile
The most basic architecture software to create, design and render with. The software is relatively easy to use, but keep in mind, there are a variety of functions that can be operated. It provides legible labels and the basic functions are easy to pick up quickly.
Nachteile
Depending on the complexity of the file, it's hard to keep the file size down. I wish there was a way to minimize the working file size because it forces the user to upgrade their drives.

Incredibly facilitative.
I used it informally to plan with other coworkers what the new company's server would look like, and we were able to do the 3d modeling of the room with the new equipment.
Vorteile
The tool has numerous tool tabs, it is impressive, but with use you find it very useful to transform paper drawings into digital files.
2d modeling is very intuitive, and you can enter passwords in your files.
Nachteile
The program is very powerful, but needs a very powerful computer, 3d modeling will not be as realistic as competitors, but still very good.

Neat idea, poor execution!
Vorteile
I liked how easy it is to teach someone to use. The models that come out of this softwareare crisp, clean and easy to read.
Nachteile
However there are better alternatives, the drawings that come from this software arnt as realistic, as drawings from softwares like revit this software only shows a 2d space making it hard to visualize the end product of your drawing.

I enjoy this software much more than other similar softwares.
Vorteile
Excellent tool I was first exposed to in University when completing my Civil Engineering degree. Aids exceptionally in visualizing the design and helping to understand the broader picture.
Nachteile
I found that online resources for the Architecture Autocad were sometimes hard to come by as resources were typically geared more towards the basic Autocad software. Sometimes these resources could help me but sometimes the subtle differences in software prevented that.

AutoCAD Architecture has become a supporting tool, not the go-to software anymore
I used to use AutoCAD as the primary design software to develop architectural designs.
Vorteile
Easy to quickly draw out plans using lines. The Ability to import Xref files helped coordinate plan changes across multiple sheets.
Nachteile
There is no coordination between plans and elevations, sections, etc. If something changes on plans, you had to go and update each and every elevation, section, view that was affected. Oftentimes this didn't get updated everywhere in a project sheet set, causing confusion during bidding and construction.

Vorteile
If you are a keyboard expert, the program it self makes it easier to move around with any keypress, making the working become finished faster, giving more time to revise.
Nachteile
The mathematical view of the entire program can be a bit tricky. If calculations are needed to be made, a non mathmetician can get lost or create an incorrect blueprint.

I used this briefly for a year and it was mostly positive
Vorteile
I used this product a little less than a year ago but I loved that, like all AutoCAD software, it has a fairly simple learning curve.
Nachteile
I thought that there should have maybe been a few more features within the standard version of the product instead of having to buy all of the extra libraries.
