The various integrations are what make Confluence so powerful. It's a good tool for collaborating with the various team-members, as well as across different teams. (Inter- and intra- team collaboration).

Nachteile

It's somewhat frustrating to use at times, with projects feeling bulky, bloated and disjointed. At the end of the day, maybe there isn't so much that Confluence can do about this, but this is ultimately the reason why it is an imperfect solution.

Confluence has a very intuitive user interface and easy to use. It also has all the required feature for a small-medium team to share documents/wiki

I do not have any negative toward Confluence for now, at least for document related stuff, it does well

It's the greatest centralized location for everyone involved in a project or at a company to store, share, and retrieve information and data. It's helpful for teamwork because it's simple to edit, it syncs with Jira, and it can provide useful visual representations of data.

Nachteile

The design of Confluence just seems archaic and cumbersome to me. It's also difficult to allow access, and to copy and paste across other applications like Microsoft Office.

There are guides to learn how to use the tool and it's easy to learn. My team is getting used to it fast and also learned the use of templates. We are waiting for the project to advance a bit more to integrate it with Jira and Bitbucket commits.

I would like to have the option to set the language of the environment. It considers my computer's language and it overrides that setting. (I set the environment to Spanish and my OS is in English).

It is the best documentation for our organization it help our company to puts all the important notes and future planning at one place. Even when we outage we document the postmortem in the confluence and we do team collaboration like all the team able to edit the page at one place. We also learn the advance features with help of Atlassian university and it also provide free certification.

We are very big company and we have lot of documentation of several topic is very hard to manage and update the confluence on the time. The licensing cost is very high compared to other similar tools

As a project manager, I appreciate how Confluence allows me to export data from Jira to show my team and make my job much easier. I can set up watch pages in Confluence that the wider team can use to monitor activities on our projects without knowledge of the technicalities involved with Jira. Its great!

Nachteile

Advanced features in confluence can be a bit expensive. I guess that can’t be helped since all good things don’t come easy, doesn’t mean I have to like it though :)

Overall, I like Confluence and I think it's a real addition to Jira. It helps me better organize the documents that I have for a project for the whole team. It also has a real-time co-edit feature and highlights the changes for the whole team which helps everyone keep informed about any updates on the documents.

It's a little bit pricey and not very user-friendly at the beginning if you are just getting started. It takes some time to get to know how to use every feature of it.

What drew me to Confluence was the ease with which a wiki could be set up. It will be easier for recently hired colleagues to get the knowledge they need to completely integrate into their organisations if they have this capability.

One of my biggest gripes with Confluence is how sluggish and unresponsive it can be at times. When working on a group project, this can be very irritating. In addition, the search function isn't always the most refined, and it may take some time to locate the data you require.

La fácil creación de las páginas y la alta personalización que permite, pudiendo ver los cambios al momento, ya sean negritas o macros que se añaden con funcionalidades. Su buscador es de 10, encontrando todos los resultados muy rápidamente.

A veces el editor cambia la posición del cursos al acabar de redactar una sección, no acabo de entender muy bien la causa y es algo aleatorio. También al ponerlo el "Título 1" por alguna razón que desconozco, siempre acaba cogiendo también la segunda línea, aunque no la haya marcado. Aparte de estas pequeñas cosas que no resultan molestas realmente, no tengo quejas en cuanto a su funcionamiento.

Coming into Confluence as a new user with limited knowledge of Agile software applications, I found Confluence to be a little overwhelming. However, the provided documentation allowed me to see just how capable the application can be. While I was probably using a fairly small % of the total capabilities of this application, I found the integrations and add-ons to be invaluable as I worked through integrating this into my business needs. Customer support was excellent as well. As a new and novice user, I relied on them for support enough times to know that I could get high quality help relatively quickly. The support team seemed to truly care about my experience and took a proactive approach in solving any problems I was having.

Initially it felt a little overwhelming, and I realized that unless I set it up properly from the start, it was hard to go back and change original settings without starting a new project or scrapping my account and starting over.
