Good for docs, advanced editors need some improvement
Solid.
Vorteile
Provides everything I need for basic documentation.
Nachteile
Some of the advanced text editor tools are very clunky and unintuitive. Specifically the code snippets and other macros.

Good for Information Sharing
Vorteile
This is very great tool to share information among different departments. Different tabs can be made in order to share information specific to particular department and can add tabs for other departments. All information access is found at one place and everyone can collaborate to access this information at one place and speed up the process.
Nachteile
The user interface is very basic and old. I think more user experience need to be add. Menu options can be customized to include more options.

Great for freeing up time for more important matters.
I used Confluence for about a month while my company tried it out to see if it was something they wanted to invest in long-term. I was surprised that there was a software like Confluence exists. When I got over the initial surprise I got to know some of the features while working with it on and off throughout the three week period. Simply put, there is no replacement for Confluence. It is the easiest to use of the collaborative softwares and didn't struggle with it at all. It isn't exactly intuitive but I was able to use it to perform the tasks I was assigned at work which freed up a lot of time to focus on other tasks. It was a positive experience.

Beautiful interface but a bit pricey
Vorteile
Wonderful interface, very easy to use, and a great repository of company data. Can be accessed anywhere and generally has a smooth 'flow' when looking for materials in the software. Collaboration is a lot simpler with Confluence.
Nachteile
A bit too high on the price per person; this has become a bit of a problem for our team, which can cause poor handoff of contextual information. I think there are other Cloud-based products that are half the price or even offered free.

Great for record-keeping in a systematic way
Vorteile
Its simplicity to use means anyone can create files easily on Confluence. It helps keeping things logical and it is great for record keeping.
Nachteile
Its simplicity means its interface is fairly plain. For a visual leaner and creative thinker, it doesn’t inspire creativity.

It can be given a chance
Vorteile
Very easy to use, even for non-technical users. It integrates well with other Atlassian products.
Support the needs for documentation on Scrum
Nachteile
The site does go down every now and then. That means the data cannot be accessed during that time.
The editing functionality is very poor .

Great for team collaboration
Vorteile
It's a great application which allows for real collaboration between all users. Online editing works well as does importing information from other applications.
Nachteile
Cost is the main barrier for me in relation to confluence. Ideally I would like to see additional price breaks for total number of users.

A must for software development
Good documentation that is easy to maintain is vital for any serious (software or no software) project. Confluence has everything in it to suppor that properly. Any customer or project I would strongly recommend to use. I've user multiple wiki-like systems, but Confluence is the best I've seen so far. I also love the Gliffy plugin.
The only point that I think should get a bit more attention is exporting document. Ideally you would want to maintain technical end user documentation in a wiki too and export it for end users. Unfortunately the look and feel of the exports doesn't come close enough to the original document IMHO.

Confluence: Information sharing platform
Vorteile
i use confluence to share information with my team mates. It makes it very easy to store the information at one place and let everyone have the common platform to access it. Editing the articles is also very easy and fun to use with a lot of customization.
Nachteile
It has a very complex setup. User interface have some old fashioned layout and needs up gradation. Have a too big of option list which is confusing.

Confluence does a good job for organizing documents
I like using confluence. Easy to use, and setup. Great product.
Vorteile
Confluence is easy to use and set up. It has an Intuitive interface which makes sharing documents between teams very easy. It can create code snippets, table, text editing.
Nachteile
Not much that I didn't like about this product. It does what I expect it to do. The only thing is that whenever I make some edits to my space, my emails would get notified. Sometimes there can be a bit too much emails sent.

Wiki for your Atlassian setup
Generally positive, but ties you into the Atlassian ecosystem.
Vorteile
- Fills the gap to have a wiki to refer to for on-going projects.
- Confluence is a very clean writing experience, which we have also used just for general collaboration
- Integrates very well with the Atlassian stack
Nachteile
Locks your documentation in the Atlassian system, I would prefer having freedom from the platform, migration of the knowledge base becomes a problem over time and you begin paying for legacy you cannot move.

Project document collaboration tool for your business
I tried features of this tool in free plan. I was pretty much satisfied about what I get and I plan to use it for my personal projects. In my job we are currently evaluating this kind of tools and there is a chance we will give it a try.

Great place for collaboration
Confluence has been food for helping collaborate with two big teams.
Vorteile
Confluence is a great place to make “wiki” type pages where you can collaborate and put information for all to use.
Nachteile

OK software for internal company wiki
Our company uses Confluence as an internal wiki, which is great for new hires to get them more knowledge rapidly, but the value falls off for regular employees because all the content is hard to find and navigate.
Vorteile
I like most about Confluence is it's purpose as a destination to share internal knowledge across departments.
Nachteile
The navigation is not super user friendly and you have to rely on search results more than I would like

Simple and well organized
I use it to keep my documents organised and share them. It is working very well so far.
Vorteile
I really like confluence, it has a sleek and simple UI (Atlassian style), it is easy to setup and to navigate between documents to find what you are looking for. The collaborative editing also works fine!

Maybe it would be nicer with more addons and integrations with third party services. I would really like to use it even more than

I think that Confluence is great and allows companies to organize and prioritize processes very well.

Confluence is a great place to store company wide documents, processes, and manuals. It also integrates with a great array of tools that make it easy to work with for many other tasks.
Nachteile
Confluence can be used for so much. I feel that this can make it cluttered and harder to use. But, overall, it is pretty simple software!

Engineering Student
I used this software to develop a Wiki page for a school project. It took me a few minutes to configure some of the macros, but, other than that, it has a short learning curve. A lot of the formatting is done for you, allowing you to focus on the content of the page instead of the technical web design details.

Great repository of content
It is great to be able to create documentation websites super quickly.
Vorteile
In my team, we are using Confluence to document all our processes and also create documentation on some tools. This allows us to have a quick wiki site running without too much trouble.
Nachteile
Confluence is not always super friendly to use. Labels can be confusing and you can quickly be not sure of what is happening when you click on a button.

Confluence was a great replacement for our internal wiki
We swapped to confluence recently to replace our internal wiki and have been really satisfied with the ease of use and feature set.
Vorteile
I really enjoy being able to subscribe to a page or section of the site so I can keep an eye on updates.

Best Project Management Tool
I find confluence quite useful for the project managerment. AMny users can edit the same documents and all the watchers get notified for the same. It allows us to achieve our project goals by working together on the tool.
Vorteile
It helps us in keeping track record of our meeting notes and it helps all of our team to be on the same page. It is very well integrated with JIRA and they keep on adding on new features. It is a great tool got managing the project. It allow us to customize our information. We usually use it to keep RFAIN information.
Nachteile
They do a lot of changes and keep providing new updates and every time I open it after some time, the user case and UI changes a little which is confusing sometimes. Also it is not able to process the words and find the errors in the documents.

Simple to use and very powerful. It also links directly into jira and supports addons to allow nearly anything.
Nachteile
Searching could be improved. For huge documentation databases finding exactly what your looking for can be quite hard.

Useful but hard to use!!
Vorteile
I really like the fact that as an organisation we use Confluence as source of truth. It's very useful and we can have a lot of information easy to find anytime!
Nachteile
The interface for editing a file is just terribile. I hate it, it's often buggy and I believe that they have a lot to do in terms of comparison with Google Docs and similar tools. I lost all my work more than once. Also exporting a file is sooo complicated!

Confluence review
I have had only good experiences with Confluence, and would highly recommend it.
Vorteile
Confluence is a great software that allows a team to collaborate their work all in one place. It is very fluid and easy to use.
Nachteile
The only downside to Confluence is that it does not work well with Microsoft Office products. This is not that big of a deal since we are moving away from Microsoft Office.

Vorteile
Confluence offers a wide range of options when creating a shared document. The ability to add tables and lists seems very helpful
Nachteile
Although it is fairly intuitive there seems to be a decent learning curve. I also am not sure we are using it to its full potential. I think once we get a little bit more training it will be a much more useful tool

Confluence meeting accelerator
I have used confluence on regular projects, ranging in length from a couple of months to a couple of years. the full value did not really show itself until I started a project with a company that has a lot of people that are new to software development. The user requirements were all over the place, and in so many forms, but by having a central place, with a template to determine when done was done, it brought many conversations to a quick end and solved paralysis on the requirements gathering end.

Prouct Team Loves Using Confluence
Overall, Confluence has met and oftentimes exceeded our product team's needs.
Vorteile
Our product team has been using Confluence for nearly 6 months as our primary design phase collaboration tool. We create and share our product ideas and architecture to keep us on pace.
Nachteile
Lately, we have noticed a few bugs which has caused lagging issues, but otherwise has been excellent.

Confluence has been a good tool for my organization.
Vorteile
I think Confluence is great for company-wide documentation. It keeps things a lot more organized, especially for larger organizations.
Nachteile
It's not the nicest-looking software UI wise, but it does the job. I wish it was a bit less clunky, but I don't use the software often enough for it to be a big burden.

It's great, but a little clunky and can be overwhelming when I need a quick answer.
Vorteile
It's a great hub of information. I know that when in doubt, I'll be able to find the answers to my questions on Confluence.
Nachteile
There's a TON of information- I wish the search functionality was a bit easier. For example, frequently used words alongside my search should come up too.
