We use Paylocity as our primary HR software.
Vorteile
I like Payocity's ability to show me pay stub information, time off requests/status, and other vital HR functions all in one place.
Nachteile
It's very minor, but it's not the most user friendly interface at first. There are also some differences between the app and the web experience, which has caused some minor problems.

Mostly helpful but needs some work
I have found the onboarding to be very helpful, as well as having access to employee files electronically
Vorteile
Eliminates having to keep mountains of paperwork for each employee. The onboarding process is way easier than what we were doing before. Easily keeps track of employee info.
Nachteile
Glitches in the onboarding process, ie. when trying to move on to the next task you are sometimes timed out of the program, employees not receiving emails necessary to begin onboarding in a timely manner.

I liked how easy it was to clock in and out each day.

If a mistake was made, I would have to contact my supervisor to fix it. I couldn't fix it on my own.

Needs to improve customer service
Vorteile
It is relatively simple to use and someone does always answer the phone in a timely manner.
Nachteile
My account manager seems to never be available and I get different answers when I call the customer service line when I ask the exact same question. It seems like the employees don't know the product very well. Also I find their tax team to be difficult to work with. I also feel like the web time portal is a little problematic. There also doesn't seem to be a lot of communication between webtime and webpay.

We love Paylocity!!
We started in WebPay in June of this year. It has been a relatively seamless experience especially switching from doing our own payroll to outsourcing it.
Vorteile
WebPay has a large amount of reports that are easy to pull and use. Their customer service is very responsive and easy to get in touch with either through email or phone call.
Nachteile
I know it's probably necessary but there are so many screens that sometimes the information can be overwhelming if you aren't sure how to use it.

The support team with Paylocity is great, we transitioned from Paychex and Paylocity's team made the process as painless as possible.
Nachteile
No major cons, Paylocity is a bit more pricey than other payroll solutions, but overall very happy with them.

Best Integration Software!
Vorteile
I really like the integration between WebTime and WebPay. I also like the cloud based system with auto updates.
Nachteile
WebTime is not a feature that is easily molded into what I would like to see and not see. My "wish" list continues with this program due to a lot of clitches in the system.

Awesome way to keep up with your payroll
Vorteile
I love that you can see your check stubs, direct deposit information, W-2 information, and Sick/Vacation time easily online or through the app on your phone. Very easy to use.

Interactive interface - stops there

The interface is simple but attractive - however that all stops as you click your way through your profile

The "time" function on the application is always wonky - I have Hourly employees that try to use the clock in and out function and It does not work like it should

Great support and site
Vorteile
We are new to Paylocity and love both the website and app. Employees are able to edit personal info as well as update accounts and taxes easily.
Nachteile
On the administrative side there is a learning curve as the functionality is very different than our prior system. There are a lot of options, and at times can be overwhelming. Great training and step by step materials to help new users.

The ease of quickly accessing past paychecks and tax forms, and printing/saving PDF files
Nachteile
They made it a bit confusing to access, a bit hard to find from the timesheet page. But once you figure it out, it's not a big deal.

Makes life easier
Life has been made so much easier since using Paylocity.
Vorteile
It keeps everything easily accessible. Time off requests are easy. Keeping track of pay and used sick time and vacation time is super simple. You don’t have to hunt people down to find out information it’s at your fingertips.
Nachteile
Can take a little time to get the hang of it but it doesn’t take any time at all to get the hang of it

Advanced HR Critique
The program is very beneficial and inclusive in storing user information. We have 40 plus employees that are on direct deposit and keeping track of all of their documents is very easy with Paylocity. The number of things you can do with HR is very convenient from tracking coaches and the ease of inputting their documents is great. We have found that it is not the easiest, in the beginning, getting everyone setup, but once they are the system becomes a lot more user-friendly.

We've had an excellent experience with Paylocity!
Vorteile
Amazing reporting. Very customizable solution. Impressive implementation team. Extremely impactful product that is all in one with several key outside integrations.
Nachteile
I don't love their WebTime system (for hourly employees) very intricate and seems easy to break (we have not had this happen yet). Could use some simplification.

This software is very easy to use and navigate.
Nachteile
When requesting time off, it would be nice if once you enter a request (even if it's pending) it is reduced from your remaining time. Sometimes our supervisor takes quite a while to approve our PTO and then it appears that we have more time than what we actually have.

Paylocity for punching hours
Overall I am very happy with Paylocity. It’s easier than a system used with another employer of mine. It’s just not working well to record my hours worked.
Vorteile
I like that I can see my pay history, contacts for colleagues, and timesheet. Navigation and layout are easy.
Nachteile
We are trying to login with the apps on our phone to go “touchless” for logging in and out. This can only be done when we are in the building, however I have to submit it several times before it takes my punch in or punch out.

The system works well with items needed for our company. Has a lot of options that can be added and utilized to create a customized experience for users.

The system is blocky and not set up to be very intuitive to learn to use. Selections in drop downs are limited (although this may be due to the company setup).

Not that great of a product really

For a mid sized company, the payroll part of the solution was OK. Reasonably intuitive and had most of the needed features.
Nachteile
Did not like the time capture application. Not user friendly, and navigation is like a software from the 80s. My client was not happy at all. They are still using it, but plan to switch soon.
