Quick books is dependable. In 6 years in my current position, I have only had to call customer service when it was time to renew.

Nachteile

When I do need to call their customers service, it is nearly impossible to find a number to call online. Also, if you choose to buy their software in retail, instead of renewing through their company directly, it is a headache to navigate. They make you reinstall rather than renew.

So easy to use, has tons of functionality, keeps our small business organized and everything all in one place to keep us on the same page

It allows us to track our spending/billing. Switched between online and desktop at various times to try and optimize the experience. Allows you to get a quick view of your business performance income/debt.

Nachteile

Some features don't work smoothly or are confusing to figure out. In the desktop version it is not always intuitive to determine where to go to lookup something related to past invoices, start new invoices, etc. Also inputting expenses that are not a check, but a debit card is kind of clunky.

I love the simple design and the user interface. It was very easy to learn and I loved the bank integration that easily matched up bank transactions and transactions entered into Quickbooks so that it was easy to see what had not been entered.

Nachteile

The biggest problem is that the reporting capabilities for tracking that we needed could not be achieved. It also couldn't meet our needs as a growing SaaS company so we had to move to a more robust software

I've recently started using QuickBooks to track my personal accounts and couldn't be happier. Everything has been easy to use and great for everyday tasks. I'm not positive yet how to use some of the more complex features that it has included, but I look forward to learning more about them.

Nachteile

The only negative I have so far is that it's very easy to change things and not realize you might have made a mistake. I recommend saving early and often to ensure that you don't give yourself any unforeseen headaches.

I did not think I needed it till I tried it. It was so easy to switch. Customer service was just a call away when I needed them. It turned out it was something silly with my PC.

The ability to access my invoicing platform from anywhere is the largest pro. I can send invoices from the comfort of my mobile device, or get much more in detail with my laptop, and not worry about large quickbook data sets crashing

The services pretty much require you to upgrade to ahigher package to receive basic functionality. The fact that you cannot schedule recurring without a premium package is a con.

Finding the right customer service person is sometimes a challenge. You can talk to two different people and get two different answers to a problem.

I like that it is very easy to use this software to create a new invoice. We were previously using a paper based system with triplicate pads, and it was very time consuming, often meaning I would waste 10-15 minutes of a customer's time, just to create an invoice for them.

I have nothing negative to say regarding QuickBooks; it has always worked effectively for me.

The version I have is inexpensive and very useful; exactly what I need. I looked and tried many different accounting solutions, and this is the one I landed on, and I haven't had any problems since.

Some of the features I would like are behind a higher end/more expensive version. I get it, but it's a bit unfortunate (such as Project Tracking).

Easy to use. You can look up discrepancies easily. I self taught myself the basics. The more involved features were not hard to figure out. You can find tutorials online as well. Support was also very helpful.

I don't use the internet version, so the only con is that I have to be on my PC to access my files.

Difficulty with automated downloads, integration of accounts, multiple entries for the same transaction. Not intuitive. I have tried off and on to get Quickbooks to work with downloaded data without entering things multiple times.

Importing IIF files got broke. Premiere tech support not responsive. Construction progress billing not useful. Rounding errors mess things up. Must use 3rd party software.

I love that I can link my bank accounts to quickbooks and the transactions automatically get uploaded to my online account, all I have to do is categorize them.

There is great value and the reporting is effortless. I am able to customize reporting and dive in deeper by clicking on the line items in P&L to get a better view of my expenses

Sometimes it is hard to find your way through different sections intuitively. For example, I could not find how to edit my expenses (I have a bookkeeping company)
