For basic accounting purposes, quickbooks is very useful for maintaining invoices. The navigation features - there are a lot- and filing within the system can be difficult at times.

after using QuickBooks, it makes you wonder why this isn't the standard everywhere. it makes it actually possible to navigate the tax code without worrying about every little loophole

great for self employed

QuickBooks which is a part of Mint company is very useful in keeping track of my expenses.
Being self employed I take tax deductions on many charged which is difficult to keep track.

The administration uses quick books frequently. I use payroll component every two weeks. Easy to use. Customer support not as good as it is easy to use. Have no problems with it tho

Used this for two years on a former company for never had issues with the program other than it would freeze but that might have had something to do with the computer not program.

So much improvement

This Finance package was quite clunky back in the '90s but it has advanced so much since to become one of the best Finance packages around. Well worth it, especially for budgeting.

This software can better towards managing all your daily finacical activities which leads to avoid te double entries and better management and totally a better business performance

Get on this first.. don't waste time making the transition. This is more complete and your accountant will appreciate that. Plus it's easy to use, good help files, and looks good.

Switch to another product

Used Quick book for a very long time, but have recently moved on to a different product. Their customer service is not up to par, it seems like no one knows what they are doing!

Great features of QuickBooks

I am not an accountant. Not even a bookkeeper. But I find QuickBooks pretty easy to use. I help and do various tasks for a small service business called 1 on 1 Lessons. Either at the end of each day or at the end of the week, I record sales and expenses and add receipts or attachments for every item. It is very easy to do this and feels intuitive to find things in QuickBooks.

Great product, the only problem is not being able to add your own categories if needed. Other than that the ability to track mileage and get estimated taxes is extremely helpful

I have used quickbooks for two companies and both times it has proved sufficient from startup all the way through serious growth. I can't imagine starting a company without it.

Not intuitive

Great software/program, but difficult to learn. I'm self-taught, but it took a lot of trial and error to get where I am. I don't even know a lot, just enough to do what I need.

Me and Quik Books

As I have learned more about this program the more impressed I get. It totally helps with my company and its nice to see me numbers all in one spot. Makes my job alittle easier.
