I am very satisfied with Able2Extract as long as there are no technical errors. Otherwise, the fast and efficient exporting of files is a huge timesaver. the accuracy is usually 99.9% of the time accurate.

Excellent product with concessionally priced updates
We have found Able2 Extract of value to the business particularly with conversion of documents emailed to us and shared internally which can be easily converted for editing and inclusion in reports.

Overall, it is excellent.

Super helpful program.
Saves me time and aggravation in dealing with PDF's from banks and credit card companies.
Vorteile
I couldn't imagine doing my tax preparation without this great tool. I simply download my bank statements and credit card year end summaries in pdf form, extract the data to excel, do a little sorting and sifting and voila! data is ready for my accountant.

There's not much I DON'T like about Able to Extract. In fact I can't think of a thing. It just works!

Perfect for anyone looking to extract text from any PDF!

My favorite feature of them all from Able2Extract Professional was the easy to use text searching feature which made pinpointing a certain word in a PDF document as easy as it can get.

The price was the biggest issue for me. At $200 the price was just to steep for me.

My father passed away in July 2020. The solicitors holding the will wanted everything digital. We had 7 years of bank statements that were paper copy only. I was able to scan and transfer all bank statements from 10 bank accounts to excel spreadsheets. It took me 3 months to complete the probate but would have taken a solicitor a lot more time and they would have charged $300 per hour! I saved the family thousands in solicitors fees.

I still needed to make some adjustments within the spreadsheet.

Able2Extract - The only thing that IS Able to Extract what you need from a PDF
I have been using Able2Extract for many years now and it consistently performs the job of PDF > Word extraction for indexing and research.

Able2Extract 12 is easy to use, straight-forward to access and just works.

Table handling could be a little better at times - but it's still lightyears ahead of the competition.

My experience has been great. Have used for maybe 3 or 4 years without issue.

Easy to use. We are a small road contractor. Many government bids have list of locations and streets within the bid documents which we want to enter into our bidding software. I will typically convert to word or excel for our further use - works great!!!

I do a lot of statistical work and use data frequently: Able2 Extract makes it easy to extract data from PDF documents accurately and quickly: this is exceptionally useful.

The ability to extract data from PDFs, into readily useable spreadsheets or Word documents - an enormous benefit.

Nothing comes to mind - occasionally tables with more complex formatting do not get extracted exactly, but it is usually easy to fix the problem.

Love this software!!!
My young niece told me about this software. I was using my scanner, and OCR software to do my jobs. Sometimes I have to download a pdf file, a bank statement, or other doc and put it in Excel so that I can import to my accounting software. This product was a life saver. Saves me so much time. And Easy to use.

This is so easy to use and so fast - taking a pdf or article, and moving it to Excel or Word. I don't do a lot of serious work that I need this software, but when I need to use it, it saves me time. I LOVE IT!!

I use often use this app for papers in biblical and religious studies. These papers frequently use more than one language, sometimes the doesn't convert these different languages accurately. But the main problem seems to be the biblical languages. Another minor problem is formatting, which not always correspond with the PDF

Like any software, the upgrades are very frequently and I don't have the budget to follow all the upgrades, as I also need to upgrades many other softwares that are vital for my work.

This has saved about 2 hours a day for me at work. Well worth the price.

I receive POs from a vendor and they always come in PDFs. Able2Extract is so easy to use to convert these to excel. It is extremely fast too. I've had it for about a month and it has made my life so much easier. I would recommend to anyone looking for a converter.

Reporting and analysis

I use it to convert pdf to Excel. It does a nice job converting reports to columnar form in Excel that allows for versatile sorting, subtotaling, etc. Data is an accurate reproduction.

There were some complex reports with random data locations (non-columnar) that did not convert well.

Great Product
It really helps with converting difficult semi-structured PDF tables.
Vorteile
What i like the most about Able2Extract is the ability to manually edit rows and columns in a data table. This makes our pdf to excel conversions much easier.
Nachteile
The only suggestion that I would have at this time is to allow for multiple deletions of either text or rows without having to hit the "delete" button every time. This would make cleaning up the pdf prior to conversion much easier and faster.
