I like how the parents at my daycare see photos and videos of their child/ren that our staff posts on their throughout the day. I also like the messaging piece between teacher & parents as ell as administrative and parents too. I like how teachers can keep track of their children and post activities regarding the Mother Goose curriculum

The integration with Brightwheel within my center was ease, I have no cons about Brightwheel it is amazing and helps us a lot at my center!

Brightwheel has allowed our school to feel confident with the storage of data, ease of payments, and the communication app aspect for Parents/Teachers to stay in touch.

BrightWheel is so easy to use even if you are not very tech saavy. By the second day I had the hang of it. We no longer have to look for the sign in sheet because it is all digital now. It is quick and easy. The parents like it as well. Emails to parents and everything is right there in the app!

For the moment, there isn't anything that we don't like about BrightWheel!

Well, I have experienced some slowness in loading the platform, especially when there are many users accessing it simultaneously.

I like that i can check my child in and out of school, and that other people cannot without having the code. I like that teachers can communicate with me on it. i like that the teachers can add pictures of my child as well. I like it as a mainstream way to broadcast announcements etc.

We use as a communication tool for staff to parent and staff to staff. I has helped include everyone quickly and easily in a texting type of communication.

I wish our forms and state mandated documents could be uploaded into the system so that we could be paperless. Then all of our documents could be accessed when needed. I wish the access to different features could be more detailed for staff. Allowing specific accesses to specific individuals.

Brightwheel staff are available during the day (and you can even leave a chat message after hours). They are responsive to your issues and they actually follow-up after resolving an issue to make sure that it remains fixed. The support team is knowledgeable, helpful and polite! They leave you with the impression that they care.

Nachteile

We offer flexible schedules. Some families' schedules vary day to day. It would be a great asset if actual attendance could be calculated against billed attendance. Right now, this is a manual process and leaves us open to mistakes.

As administrator I use Brightwheel daily for most administrative jobs. The sign-in and sign-out has been a blessing. No more typing up sign -in sheets and tallying who is hear and who is absent. We also use the messaging for parent and staff. No more having to add parents and or staff to my personal phone.

The set up and getting started has a learning curve that takes time to learn. I would be nice if we could just hit the road running. I still struggle adding students to waitlist, enrolled, disenrolled..etc. I would like it to be more streamlined.

I never know if everyone can see my messages or just the teachers can...I wish we could keep the QR scan code on file instead of having to scan it in person every dayI also don't like the text message alert feature

Integration was seamless. It's so convenient that all of the tools that I need to run my school is in this one product! We use most of the functions especially check in/out for students and staff (helps us with payroll), messages, newsletter, activity and billing all the time.

We would like to learn more about the learning feature of brightwheel. I would like the calendar to allow to select multiple dates for one event. I also wished it would notify /remind parents when an event is coming up.

Billing seems to be harder than before . It was easier for me to see payments before. Now it takes me longer to figure out what I am looking for. It's more complex. I also don't like that my administrator can see our deposits. Only the owner or whoever handles the finances should be able to.

The only cons I have found using Bright Wheel is in the Subsides category trying to add and change child payments mid month as some agencies tend to do. They are working on it and plan on coming out with an update soon!
