Vorteile

Easy to install and it catches everything. My top two favorite things about this app is the custom blocking, and the screenshot features. I, also love that the app keeps an analysis of the top domains, and activities of the targeted computers. The pie chart makes it easy to assess how employees are doing, and how often they are working vs. doing things like checking their Facebook.

Nachteile

Since I only have the free program, I can't really customize my settings as much as a paid customer can. I wish more features could be accessed for free, even if it was only for a limited time so I could determine if it's worth paying for more features or not. I also do not like that you can't easily block websites/searches by catagories, or keywords, which would make it much easier to use.

I love that I was able to monitor my child's internet usage, even when she was not at home, and block websites that were inappropriate.

Nachteile

Some of the alarm settings were confusing at first. It took playing with them to understand the wording.

I don't use this software to micromanage my employees but it gives you an idea of whether someone is working consistently or cheating when tasks are assigned to them.

It's very easy to use and provides robust monitoring for not a lot of money. The interface is clean and intuitive, activity was easy to examine. Customer service has been mainly very good.

Nachteile

Upon installation, most computers show multiple users, and it wasn't immediately apparent how to delete the extra users without uninstalling. Also, it has been difficult to switch the default email. These were, overall, pretty minor issues in comparison with the great value we have gotten.

Have to add each web site manually. No option of importing website list. There are some sites that rank website and put them in category like entertainment, Sports, Technology etc. If we could add list of those website by importing. We wont have to add each web manually.
Uploading Snapshot on FTP would also be a great option.

Ease of install and set up. I like the fact that it is not showing anywhere on the taskbar or in the process log which hides it from the computer that you want to track.

Agents constantly fall off / stop reporting and have to be reinstalled. Worked with kind support but problem still persists, making product unreliable. Tried removing anti-virus completely and it still happened.

I love how comprehensive this software is. It provides a detailed picture of a user's activity. We can get screenshots of their workstation as well as categorizing the time spent during the workday. It gives us everything we are looking for.

We are not exactly excited about it's pricing structure. There are so many benefits though. It is a minor issue for us.

Not necessarily a negative, but a lot of the most usable data presentation is in the more expensive option. It would be nice to include user reports on the lower tier packages.

It appears to give me good insight into the information and data that I occasionally need to collect on staff. The graphical interface is simple to use, and I have verified the outputs as correct.

Difficult to deploy in the mode I was using without end user knowing. Also, we use a lot of niche softrware and websites and it was a little tedious at first marking these as productivity applications.

I appreciate the productive vs non-productive break down of hours. Activ trak is a great tool with many uses not just "big brother" tracking, but assists the sales team be aware of areas of improvement in their productivity. I personally use the screenshot history on a daily basis.

Training on the use of activ trak could use improving. It was really up to me to learn to navigate through the reporting features. However support has been very available to assist me through all of my questions.

It seems to be very thorough in tracking. I am able to categorize applications and websites as productive, unproductive which helps with quick analysis of activity and productivity. The screenshots are very effective also. I am able to look at the entire team, or just an individual's usage.

Learning to get around the interface was a bit challenging, and I think I still have some learning to do to be more efficient. I haven't quite figured out how to use all the functionality.

Excelente software para el monitoreo constante y activo de empleados. Muy muy completo, podemos ver desde capturas de pantalla hasta el tecleo que se ejecute en la pc. Es muy efectivo a la hora de querer poner algo de orden y disciplina en las horas de trabajo de los empleados.

I wish it were slightly more granular in the respect of actual website names visited. It gives IPs, but then we have to track down through DNS what it was they visited.

It does what I needed it too; and more. I like the graphs the most. I easily lets me see what sites are being hit the most within my organization.

Probably the little pop ups in the corner where it looks like a technician is waiting to speak with me. Just annoying.

Handling idle time could be improved (feature to reallocate idle time to meetings and other productive activities not using a computer or to take time/days off into account would help assess productivity better)
Readjusting schedule for special days (coming to work early, leaving work late) would be helpful as well

Very easy to setup and monitor. Know I can see what my employees are doing and can manage internet access easily.
Screenshots on alarms are very useful, I use it a lot.

Sometimes there is a delay between what my employees are doing and the alarms/ screenshot.
It is not a big deal anyway. I have the same issue when I try to block some websites, due to DNS sometimes it only works after the computers are rebooted.

Accessibility and interface is smooth i like the features and customer support it's quick and resolving at same time. If I talk about pros i loved this software from start. It's been 5 months I'm using it and I must say it's very nice.

Every system has some bugs and problems. But as I see the features i think there is no such major issue . And if I had any problems in past customer support was there to help.

I enjoy the user friendliness and ease in accessing different areas that are monitored. I also like the fact that it is constantly taking random screenshots yet you still also have the ability to watch and monitor live use of a computer.

Nachteile

Some communication as i had made an error with my domain as we utilize 2 at my company and even though i responded that all was corrected i received continuous emails which in my opinion were sales related. The only problem was this showed the responses were not being monitored as i had explained multiple times what the underlying domain issue was. All has been corrected and works great though.
