Switched from Hubspot to Engagebay
The experience was not bad, but i am not sure if i would use it again.
Vorteile
Pricewise is the system much cheaper than other Systems - especially if you scale.
You can run more than one domains and the automation functions are good.
Nachteile
The system is less intuitive than e.g. hubspot. more complicated to setup and use.
Help is only in english and there is no real support structure. Unless a old video guided support. This taks more time to effectively use it. What i really didnt like is, the strong outreach for positive reviews. I think i got 5 messages on that...within the first week.

Jumped the gun on purchasing
Vorteile
The supposed all-in-one capability (although there are hidden fees, and it’s not compatible with critical widely used software), the capability for social media management, a bot builder, and the email marketing system.
Nachteile
You have to pay separately for website tracking, which wasn’t disclosed when I spent more than $2k purchasing the software. This is a major issue for my business and budget for the upfront expense, which is supposed to be an affordable alternative to HubSpot. The clunky user interface also leaves much to be desired. I have buyer’s remorse. There is also no integration with Outlook unless you use the web version, which is a big deal considering how prevalent Outlook is used in business.

More improvement required
Vorteile
To be very honest i have used this service twice only in free trial the functionality is good for sending email and they also provide accurate result but while investigating the email i came to know that they are using mailgun service for sending emails.
Nachteile
The service provider they are using earlier it was very useful for bulk email marketing but now a days they are worst cause they do not change the IPs regularly which necessary to compit in the email marketing today and the same thing facing by engage bay, other wise the software is good for sending emails

Ok for small businesses, but doesn't have all the features we would like
Generally, we've not had a bad experience, but it hasn't been great either. The customer service is very good, you get quick answers to questions using the chat function, and they are very helpful behind the scenes. And the software is enough for what we need right now, but I think we'll outgrow it within a year, which will be frustrating! We're 4 months in and have had to upgrade twice, which gets expensive when it's for multiple users.
Vorteile
The contacts page is very good. The information is easy to enter, filter and search. Overall I'm very pleased with this section of Engagebay. Also, the social suite is great, we use it to post to various sites on a regular basis and it's easy to use.
Nachteile
The call log page, because we don't make the calls through Engagebay, is very limited. It shows very little data and you can't sort or filter it at all. Disappointing.
Also, the reports are very basic, you get some pretty graphs but you can't drill into the information for more details at all. So its usefulness is limited.

BUYER BEWARE! Lots of little hidden pay for play stuff that isn't clear on their website
Not impressed. I pay for a product and still have to pay extra to remove its branding from my emails. ARE YOU FOR REAL? Absolutely poor tool.
I am not that impressed with this tool to be honest; it's worth paying a bit more and getting something a bit more user friendly.
Vorteile
Definitely cheaper than HubSpot, which it closely mimics in some ways. Certainly easy to buy.
Landing pages were easy to build and some elements of EB make it feel like it's a great alternative to HubSpot.
Nachteile
Where do I start? I have used HubSpot, Marketo, Keap, Drip, Klayvio, Pardot and more. This platform really is poor in many ways.
- Learning curve for those who haven't used a marketing automation tool before will be very steep
- Can't use visual block builders when building emails in a workflow
- Can't remove 'Sent by Engagebay' in your emails unless you pay $4 per 1000 emails. I'm not kidding. And that's ON TOP of your subscription by the way.
- Can't easily use if/then logic in workflow
- Whilst we're on workflows, what's the difference between a workflow and an automation?
- Adding new steps to an established workflow is very difficult
- Feels clunky and a poor maps version of HubSpot
- Very limited support and documentation online; if you can't figure out how to do something GOOD LUCK!

Wonderful customer service
Vorteile
The customer service is very good whenever there is a problem you can write in the chat and you will be helped.
Nachteile
Some features are missing when you work with any software because there is never a 100% fit of your needs otherwise there wouldn't be so many different offers. But engagebay is helping us with CRM wonderfully. The system could look a little more modern but its just a small thing.

EngageBay if you are on a budget
It is easyish to use, still lacks loads of features and the way of working is sometimes frustrating compared to something like Hubspot, but that is where the huge price difference comes in. It is efficient if you are really on a budget.

The price of this product is what is appealing, some aspects are easy to use but there are some that are frustrating.
Nachteile
When building landing pages you have to manually optimize the pages for mobile, whereas many other tools implement the mobile optimization automatically.

Customer service is amazing - everyone I have spoken to is great!

Still exploring the tools, so far so good. But a long way to go.
We just started using the tool, it's just been a month, but so far it's good, good support team experience with [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. Every helpful, supported us from the scratch. And all of the above [SENSITIVE CONTENT], we very helpful in solving our issues.

Engagebay
Vorteile
The customer service is spot on. If you need help, you send a message in the chat and they get back very quickly, with the answers to your problem. If they don´t have the information or they don´t have something that you are looking for they are straightfoward and let you know.
Nachteile
I wish there were better ways to track touches to prospects. You can make tags and filters, but there´s no ¨pretty & organized¨ platform in the software that allows you to keep track and view what you have done or need to do (followups) etc.

Good software
Vorteile
UI is easy to navigate. Automation works well. Easy integration with other software.
Nachteile
There should be a search bar in the contact list page. More custom field should be added to the automation flow. I have some contacts which name has special symbols, but when they are imported, EngageBay doesn't display the name correctly. This may affect the email recevier names when I send out an email broadcast.

Pretty good for small businesses, but potenital is there to be better.
Vorteile
Having a package of company management tools in one place. And, of course, having pretty valuable features in the free version.
Nachteile
The appointment system, which is pretty helpful for me, can be really better.
And I suggest adding an automated break time to be set for every booking slot, which is not available right now.

Not All it was cracked up to be
The experience with EngageBay was not good and I got my money back after seeing the issues.
Vorteile
The suite of tools is good and the fact it is integrated with many tools in one was helpful. It did however have issues.
Nachteile
I could not upload videos that I needed for my landing pages. They said they were fixing that but asked for my money back as their customer service could not help and would not accommodate a discount for the issue. It made no sense that they rather lose a customer totally than provide a discount so that to me suggested bad business and support in the future.
