Motivosity - the right solution to motivate your team members
How many times was your contribution and effort just forgotten? How often do you have the feeling that your hints were undervalued? How frequently do you wish to have the possibility to thank someone in your team for their help? Motivosity is just the right tool for your team to emphasize small (and not so small) things that improve the overall performance of the whole organization. At the beginning it was received as a funny thing to play, but now Motivosity plays an important role in our organization. It is even used as one of many factors that decide about MVP awards!

It's a blessing to have a tool that allows our company to give appreciation. It's also sustainable and allows us to make real time decisions how to promote employee engagment.
Vorteile
It was very easy to roll out and keep employee engagment alive.

Easy to use, with lots of great features
Vorteile
The presentation of everything together is well above average. Colors are good, and it has a positive feeling.
Nachteile
The only problems I've had is a few issues with logging in with internet explorer. I switched to Chrome and haven't had any issues since.

It gives employees an outlet to publicly acknowledge peers who went above and beyond. Expressing appreciation goes a long way.
Nachteile
There's no way to see who has "liked/thumbs up'd" on a posting. Other than that, the tool works just fine in my opinion

Great Appreciation Tool
I'm overall satisfied with Motivosity it is a great program.

Great tool to ignite peer review excitement within the office
The product has helped with morale and productivity.
Vorteile
The ease of administration, the ease of use (for the staff) and the genuine excitement and peer recognition that I have witnessed with the staff. It is well worth the investment.

Motivostiy Rocks!
My experience with Motivosity.....I think it's awesome! The company I work for is still relatively small. We have just under 20 people in our work place, which means we are all constantly wearing different hats. We ask a lot of each other. We are all busy and sometimes we forget to give each other the recognition that we deserve. Motivosity gives us the opportunity to reach out to our colleagues and say THANKS! --Turns out, it feels just as good to give thanks as it does to be thanked. It makes me feel appreciated and teaches me to be more appreciative! I love that we use it for humor and I feel that it boosts overall moral.

I have loved motivosity, it makes it really easy for me to reward my team.

Motivosity Works!
Excellent
Vorteile
Motivosity provides an avenue that employees can offer peer-to-peer acknowledgement. Previously we used Facebook which provided a tenth of the interaction with much distraction.
We have been using Motivosity now for 6 month and it has been a game changer for us.
Nachteile
The inability to load video on the software. I am looking forward to that feature.

At first I was apprehensive. however once I started using Motivosity it is very user friendly.
Vorteile
It has to be the fact that it is a daily reminder to recognize people that do great work, people you want to tell how good of a job they do but things move too fast. Motivosity helps you slow down and make someone's day.

Vorteile
It helps build morale among team members. It's a fun way to highlight team members that have helped you with a task or have gone the extra mile. It's also super easy to use.
Nachteile
The system still allows you to exchange money even when there is not any money in the system. That is more of an internal issue, but the system should be able to flag that and not allow the exchange of money if there is none.

Fantastic tool!
Motivosity is a wonderful tool - you can never appreciate the value of peer- to - peer recognition enough. I really love it - is easy to use, provides me with such functionalities as org charts (so I can easily find the people I need to connect with), and saves me sooo much time!

Fun Software To Make Everyone Work... Kind of.
Vorteile
The idea behind this is great. Do a good job on a project and someone can pay you for it. Save up enough "tips" and you can cash out.
Nachteile
The problem with this is that it's not policed that well. It's easy just to share your monthly money with a buddy and then just cash out each month. So it is very easy to game the system.

I like that it’s a simple way to show appreciation to someone and let them know you care. It’s helpful in giving just a little extra.
Nachteile
It creates the potential for causing some employees to feel left out and missed. This isn’t a direct result of the software, but whenever recognition is published publicly it can happen.

Making our organization a more thankful place
Being able to recognize outstanding team members is so rewarding for both parties
Vorteile
I love how easy it is to say thanks to anyone in the workplace. The positivity becomes almost infectious and creates a better environment for everyone. Management can even give out gift cards and everyone loves gift cards!

I like that everyone can see the kudos that are given to each other. Previously all kudos had been very private with just the person involved knowing about it. Now, this gives us a chance to see all the good work people are doing. It has the added benefit of having a competitive edge with the leaderboard, which gets people into the site and using it frequently.
Nachteile
I am not a huge fan of how the notifications are done. It isn't clear which post someone liked or commented on until you hit Details, but that is a pretty minor thing.

Awesome Program
I have seen a huge difference in morale since we started using Motivosity at our community. We have happier employees and I love that I can a send them a note with a little bit of money for going above and beyond.

I mean I am $60 total in a month, what can I complain about

well its nice being rewarded by my peers. And getting extra cash just to help with misc expenses or cash to splurge on something i normally wouldnt is pretty cool
Nachteile
I feel like this system makes it easy for people to be ignored. Support and Devs will always get alot of motivosity but teams that are not always in the forefront of peoples mind will be ignored(ie. accounting, devops). Maybe send people reminders about people do not receive alot of motivosity

Motivosity is alright
I love the reminder emails at the end of the month telling me to use up my motivosity money or it will disappear. If it weren't there I would lose out on a lot of giving money.

Not difficult to use. It's like facebook. You can see who is thanking others.

This is a fun option to be able to give my co-workers a dollar here and there to say "Thanks, for ..." I like how I can cash out my money that has been given to me in many different ways, however I always just have it go to Amazon.

Motivosity for the win!
Motivosity is a great way for me to motivate and acknowledge my team. Sending a quick message and rewarding someone for their efforts has never been easier. We use it for an abundance of different things including contests, daily goal rewards and a simple thank you. The platform is simple to use and is great for birthday reminders as well. It's nice to feel appreciated and get random 'thanks' from colleagues you might not work directly with.

Ease of use and ability to very quickly highlight accomplishments, milestones and good work done. It also serves as a way to showcase progress made by teams on projects and cross functional initiatives.

Great overall product
I love being able to tip people I work with when they do great work and help others out. I've had an issue with the font on Firefox being really hard to read but other than that it's great. The two stars I gave for the customer support resulted from the one time I reached out to them. I never heard back. The issue eventually resolved itself but it was annoying that I never was contacted about it.

Connective, motivating and rewarding.
I get added ways to make some money and I get to reward my employees and help keep them motivated. I work with a lot of milennials and they constantly need positive feedback.
Vorteile
I like the leaderboard. It shows who is really getting involved and who doesn't seem to care to build morale.
Nachteile
I wish there were more options for gift cards, maybe specific to the area I live in. There are a couple chains we don't really have and a couple more expensive places you can only find in Philadelphia I would like to put my money towards.

Wonderful Software for Employee Appreciation
This software has allowed us to quickly appreciate and recognize employees timely and effectively and the ability to share a highlight is also a plus.

Working at home but together
There a lot of benefits, feeling like the team is united and really working together.

It has not been easy to keep on the same page as a team when we are all in different places, but Motivosity helps get that done.
