Keeping It Simple!
Its been really good i have got gift cards for myself and my wife though this application. I would recommend this to any company!

Excellent software, peer recgonition is important
I have thoroughly enjoyed using Motivosity since my organization adopted it years ago. It has brought value to peer-recognition and fosters a work community of recognizing your colleagues and giving thanks.
Vorteile
I like how easy it is to recognize your peers and create a community around that recognition.
Nachteile
When it comes to manager feedback and questions relating to job satisfaction, it would be great to see that expand more. Right now I get asked periodically to rate my overall satisfaction and it doesn't allow for deeper insights.

Great Tool for Creating a Culture of Recognition and Immediate Feedback
Quick, easy, meaningful, and immediate feedback has often been our goal. In the past, our recognition systems would be burdened with too many steps. Recognition was filtered through teams or management. Motivosity allows me to recognize a job well done in a public forum while getting the message directly to the employee.
The Motivosity Bucks system is also great. I love the idea that the only way any of the "bucks" are real is if they given away. There is nothing gained by not participating. It's empowering when front line staff have the same number of "bucks" to give away each month as the executive leadership. Creating a culture in which peer-to-peer recognition has a tangible value is one my favorite benefits.

Motivosity makes it easy for me to see who I've recently recognized from my team, who I haven't recognized in a while, and offer immediate praise on either a public board or private message. It gives users a chance to engage, similar to social media, with additional praise or comments. It creates a positive space for all, and the gamification of the recognition program makes it fun to use.
Nachteile
Reviewing my history isn't as detailed as I would like, and I can't always tell who engaged with some of my posts.

Fantastic Staff Engagement Platform
The marketer and those involved in our rollout were exceptional! They were motivated themselves and presented the product for all of us in a way that made our decision easy. It is worth the investment, staff are always worth the investment. It brings patient engagement to the 21st century.
Vorteile
Everyone loves to be recognized, and this software also comes with an app that makes the process super easy for users. It literally takes a few seconds to pull up a team member or a peer and to say something nice. The company can choose values that match up with the compliment and then the platform provides an awesome way to reward that individual with money pre-loaded as desired by the company. I love that you can comment on what other's are saying and add to the spirit of recognition. It's fun, it's heartwarming and staff love recognizing each other and getting a few kudos themselves.

Motivates you to work on your best Capacity
Overall it's a great experience and I love its easy-to-use interface and its way of customise the message by rewarding someone to give a personal touch to every small reward.
Vorteile
Motivosity is a great employee engagement tool. I personally love its nature to reward colleagues whenever they do something good. It's like we don't need to wait for Bonus day in an entire year but get rewarded for each small task we do.
Nachteile
Motivosity has some limited no. of vouchers available for my local market. It would be amazing if more Stores or Online Vouchers go live on Motivosity.

Creating a Great Workspace with Motivosity
The benefits I have seen when using Motivosity is that it makes my work experience even better and helps me recognize my coworkers! I have loved using this to highlight accomplishments, create a positive work culture, and build positive relationships.

1. What I like most is the ability to write whatever compliments, feedback, or comments to any coworkers!
2. I love that I can connect my comments with our leadership principles at WGU.
3. I can give anyone in the company some compliments whether they are in my department or not!
4. I can provided highlights or wins as much as I want which boosts morale for me!

1. I would love to add different backgrounds or memes to my feedback to make it look more exciting!

Makes a nice way to recognize people.
It has been good after some initial skepticism. As stated above, with some improvements to the cadence of expiration (which could be in place but not being utilized by us), it might level out our recognition process. We have the slack integration that lets everyone know in the company.
Vorteile
It is a good reminder and way to motivate and recognize employees. Slack integration has been key and is generally useful.
Nachteile
As a user, it is kind of annoying having to use your money by the end of the month when recognizing. I recognize that it is to keep people on a schedule to get people to do it regularly, but it has weighted the recognition to the end of the month disproportionately. Maybe better options to have it expire weekly might be helpful.

Motivosity - Changes the Landscape of Performance Management
Vorteile
I like that Motivosity is integrated with our systems and is easy to find an employee, view their profile and recognize them for their contributions. This software has changed how we view performance management and focuses more on what is going well and allows us to write personalized feedback to our employees.
Nachteile
Some of the charts in the analytics section require some explanation. I would recommend a key or a FAQ document to assist in how to read the charts.

I like that it makes appreciating employees really easy, and we can see birthdays and anniversaries.
Nachteile
I really don't have anything to not like about this software. It's has everything I need. I guess my only complaint would be a wider variety of redeemable giftcards, or other gifts that aren't giftcards.

Great team program

It's great when you see your spending money going up each month (the more helpful you are, the more money you will make).
Nachteile
The point system puts more emphasis on how many times you thank people, such as if you just wanted to thank 1 person this month, you would get far more points by doing many thanks to that same person at $1 each, rather than 1 lump sum, even though the total amount is the same. It leaves it open to people manipulating the system if they understand how it works...unfortunately, I don't know how you fix it.

Differentiating Feedback
I have been using Motovosity for nearly 5 years at my current company. As a manager I appreciate the notification reminders, the length of time since I provided recognition per person on my team, and the ability to switch between layers of my team and the entire org chart to see recognition being given publicly.
Vorteile
I appreciate that this software allows me to recognize employees in several different ways. Public or private - formal or informal, being top of mind. Not everyone is comfortable with public recognition and this software provides a make private checkbox. I can also tie feedback to a very specific company virtue or leave it more general. I have utilized other features of the software, like the send a badge choice. This is another element of gamification that appeals to some employees more than others.
Nachteile
My only real con is that it only updates once a month. This means that any team personnel that join or leave my team can have a significant lag time before they can give or receive moto. This may be a result of the way our company has chosen to administer the software, and not a true limitation in the system itself.

Motivosity is a great tool to recognize coworkers and increase professional engagement.

Ease of use! I also really enjoy the leadership board widget on the left as well as the "last thanked" column on the right.
Nachteile
I'd like to be able to view my complete history of who I have thanked over time (month by month). Also, whenever I comment on someone else's recognition, it doesn't show the full context when the original receiver or sender gets email notification of my comment - that creates confusion to anyone seeing my comment without going into motivosity for the context.

I love that I can communicate with anyone and say thanks for things that may have gone unnoticed without Motivosity. I really have had a better work experience knowing that other departments care about what I think and what I say.
Nachteile
You can leave comments, but they don't really follow an order like they do on other social media sites. The comments read from newest on top to oldest on bottom, but if I reply to someone's comment, it puts my reply above theirs. Not a huge issue, but something I think could be easily fixed.

Great for Employee Recognition
This is a great way to reward employee performance outside of adding to payroll.

I love this system for employee recognition. The wide variety of gift cards available is great, so employees can choose their rewards.

Motivosity is the unique and one and only site we have seen in which we can give perks and bonus to our employees for their quick and tremendous effort. This tool is really great so that we can provide our employees a best way to gain extra for working a little longer. Motivosity helps us to gain employee confidence and to maintain a good culture in our company.

The only issue is that they have a high commission, please try to reduce them.

I believe we have a lot of employee interaction with Motivosity. We place a lot of emphasis on customer service, internal and external, and this has provided a way to recognize back office employees.

I really like the personality quiz! I was surprised how accurate it was.

We occasionally run into little glitches, such as not being able to read the notifications or comments in the milestones not saving. However, these issues are usually fixed pretty quickly.

It has been good. There are times where I can't figure things out and wish I had better customer support. A chat feature would be nice as I am trying to figure things out.

I liked how easy it is to set up and add more users. Giving an appreciation is very easy.
Nachteile
You have to pay more for reports. One of the reasons we got it was for analytics. But after a while it became available only if you upgraded to the higher tier with higher cost.

The Review
I like Motivosity for the fact it gives me a forum where I can build others up and recognize them for what they do.

I like the ability to be able to recognize individuals on a regular basis. It also allows others in the company to see uplifting moments and give input. I also like the ability to single out departments to see what's going on in other places.

I think there could be more information on the how to use certain aspects of the software, It has taken some time to understand what I can fully do with it.

Thanking Made Easy
Vorteile
During a hectic day it is easy to forget thanking someone for their amazing work or congratulating them when they reach a milestone. Remote work makes it even harder because you cannot simply walk up to someone and chat. Motivosity and its built-in reminders help to keep track. It allows you to share appreciation or highlight your team’s accomplishments for the entire organization to see. My favorite Motivosity feature, however, is the “Last Thanked By You” list. It shows you exactly which team member you have not thanked in a while, making you think back and ensure that everyone’s contributions are noticed and appreciated.
Nachteile
The navigation of the Org Chart, while really helpful, takes a little bit to get used to. The history section gives you a good overview, but it would be nice to have filter options.

The power of positive praise
Vorteile
Motovosity is such a great tool to promote positive behaviors and give credit where credit is due. I love the ability to send a quick thank you to a colleague and attach a small amount of money as a token of my appreciation. It is so cool to see how far this quick gesture goes. I also love receiving feedback in the form of Motovosity from my peers. It is so powerful.

I cannot think of a con at the moment. The tool is so simple to use, which adds to my ability to use it daily.

Great community building
Motivosity has been a great tool to create some community and positive culture within our office. I really love the culture it creates; it gives real tangible rewards for work place appreciation. The redeeming options are great - lots of variety (restaurants, home improvement, outdoor recreation, entertainment, coffee, coffee, coffee, etc)

I love the real, tangible rewards that you can get from the appreciation of co-workers. I like the wide variety of options for redeeming the Motivosity bucks. It's also really easy to give and redeem bucks either on the website, or phone app.

The Leaderboard is confusing. It's not clear what criteria gets you higher up on the leaderboard (giving or receiving? both?)

Motivosity is terrific
My experience is very positive. It is nice to know what is going on with team members in all parts of the country.

Motivosity has allowed me to show gratitude and recognition to my hardworking team!
Vorteile
I LOVE that Motivosity allows me to create metrics driven goals and team competitions with a reward system that keeps them incentivized and motivated. This software works extremely well in any quota based role!
Nachteile
There is not anything I dislike about Motivosity. I think it would be great if the public feed could be divided by department rather than the entire company but that is more of a requested feature than a dislike.

Awesome tool for showing thanks to coworkers
I like to make sure I'm telling others "thank you" when they've done something to help me out in my job, did something awesome for me or others on my team, or just because they've done their job well in general. Motivosity helps me to do that and so much more! I can thank them in person, but this allows me to give something once in a while to show I really mean that thanks - even just for the personalized note I can send!

This software is very easy to use: takes little to no introduction to figure out how to use it and start recognizing and sending thanks to your colleagues.
Nachteile
Nothing. I love it! When I first used this 2-3 years ago, I couldn't figure out how to use the Store option to redeem Motivosity cash, but the design has improved a lot in that time.

My Experience with Motivosity
If the Movivosity Bucks are considered a "Bonus" its a sad way to be rewarded for ones hard work and efforts. And once the gift card is ordered, then it will be taxed, where if we had merchandise that could be purchased through a Motivosity/Company store, then it would not need to be taxed. Like the old S&H gift stamp program at the grocery stores. You can save up and purchase nicer gifts or use your Motivosity bucks when you like.
Vorteile
I like the ability to send out thank you and Kudos to my fellow workers. I have had some very good feedback from my fellow workers as they say that there day has been made by simple recognition is given.
Nachteile
I actually think that the way money part of the Motivosity has a chance for a negativity toward some individuals. The potential that the more popular Employee gets all the money. I would hate to find out that someone in the backroom never gets recognized and never gets the motivosity bucks. many people give out their $5 and only get the $2 the system generates.

Hello Richard! Unfortunately, everything is taxed these days! Monetary prizes, awards, achievement awards, bonuses and gift cards, certificates - including points and cards with point values redeemable toward merchandise - are all taxable compensation subject to federal and state income tax withholding, unemployment tax, and FICA taxes.

To simplify it, this is a game-changer platform that allows the employees to drive a culture of positivity, recognition, and performance.

The main feature I like is I can select which specific CORE VALUES that an employee demonstrated plus I can also reward some cloud cash.
I like the fact that this platform also reminds me of new hires, employee tenure milestones, and the ability to take a personality test to get to know better your peers and their interest.
Nachteile
So far, it has limited Egifts options but I think this is more dependent on our company.

Excellent Product
It has been a remarkable platform for our teams and goes beyond recognition in fostering cross-functional engagement.
Vorteile
Provides an easy means for employee engagement and recognition. Verbal recognition is far more important than the monetary portion but it all helps.
Nachteile
This is not a con. I haven't explored if there is a phone app. I will explore the app functionality. Most of us are using the desktop application.

Excellent product to change the culture!
We have really enjoyed using Motivosity. We love the positive nature and vibe it brings into our company.
Vorteile
Employees are generous with compliments and appreciation. Our environment is much more positive. The whole company is able to celebrate little victories and large ones as well.
I love the flexibility in rewards. There are so many ways to redeem Motivosity Bucks.
Nachteile
The feed works similar to social media. If you aren't watching constantly, it is easy to miss messages and announcements unless specifically tagged.

When you are using the app to give money, sometimes it doesn’t update your balance after the transaction unless you log out.
