Support Team

I am able to grow with this software and it continues to surprise me. 😊

Vorteile

If I have any questions that are not answered by their tutorial, the staff rrspond within a day with answers. They continue to respond until you are fully satisfied. They have not disappointed!

Nachteile

The third party app (frim Wells Fargo) for taking payments, they do not provide a daily breakdown for the user about the charges incurred and the fees associated per day.

And I would love to hear more about the payment solution you're working with! Jane doesn't have a partnership with Wells Fargo, although I agree that the payment processing world is well known for confusing reporting and fees.

Jane does have our own integrated payments (Jane Payments) which allows you to take payments right in Jane. If you want more info about that just let us know!

I Love Jane!

Vorteile

Ease of implemation and use, excellent customer service, good value for investment.

Nachteile

It would be great to have a feature for practice consultation. I have a workaround for this, but would be ideal to have a way of entering the practice as something other than a new patient for invoicing purposes. I use Jane to book this into my schedule and invoice the practices I consult to.

Jane product review

Excellent, love the way to move between screens, clients info all in one port; financials are great to keep track of outstandings, insurance policies and payments

Ease of use, system applicability for my business

Nachteile

Missing ability to search for all open appointments; choice between having pracititioner have access to my schedule and my clients, want only access to my schedule; inability to choose breaks by dates and times

Jane for starting up

Positive. It allowed us to try new things and grow our practice at a very, very affordable price

Vorteile

Jane has been a great software as a new practice. 90% of our needs have been met through Jane's ability to be customized. The look is sleek and simple. Flow is wonderful

Nachteile

Jane is not specialized. We need Soap note Macros, but Jane is not in that business. The have built out phrases to the best of their ability. They honestly go above and beyond considering the wide range of clients that they serve

Happy for making the change to Jane

So far I’m liking it a lot

Vorteile

Seems user friendly after a few hours you know your way around the platform

Not able to share packages with family members Patient do not have the option of confirming their appointment on the text reminder

I like the whole Jane experience

I will soon be able to run my small business without an extra admin person booking my clients in and I will be able to do my own invoices using Jane.

Vorteile

I like that the developers are constantly adapting their software to meet the changing needs of their users. They listen to what their users need for their business' and they do what they can to make it happen.

Nachteile

Sometimes it is difficult to get the software to respond when I am using my Ipad and I have to try several times to book an appt. in.

A wonderful tool in my private practice

I am spending less time scheduling back and forth with clients. Also, this systems ensures that I am never double booking clients and decreases the number who are " no shows" >

Vorteile

I had resisted moving to electronic note taking, scheduling etc... for quite a while. After exploring a few options, I chose to go with the Jane App just a few months ago. It was easy to start using, and the instructions are clear and approachable. It has made scheduling, note taking , video call and more easy to use and accessible to all my patients. Lastly, with the unexpected pandemic, the video conference call addition has been essential.

Nachteile

I wish that somehow it could sync with my google calendar , but its not essential.

New User set up

As a new user it is very daunting to set up, and I am still in that process. however the support I am receiving is exceptionally helpful.

Vorteile

The tech support is exceptional.

Nachteile

This is a very robust and complicated client management system. It does a lot and takes a lot of time to set up. However, the support offered by [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is outstanding. They have videos, text references and on-line support that is responsive and very helpful.

Jane App for Psychological Assessment Scheduling

Vorteile

Jane has so many important features for a private mental health practice. I use Jane for scheduling appointments, sending appointment text/email reminders, making room reservations, sending consent forms, keeping private client data, charting, and for telehealth visits.

Nachteile

Because there are so many features, Jane can be difficult to navigate at times but the video tutorials are helpful when you don't know how to do something.

Vorteile

Ability to edit settings on our end and the schedule to patient profile function, as well as, who booked the patient and when. Also the notes function. And the reminders to book.

Nachteile

The lack of customization for the online booking page and formatting and email formatting.

I looked up your emails with our team to see what degree of online booking customization you were looking for (beyond adding logo, selecting colours, adding a background image and updating language - I think you already know about all of those options).

I just found the feedback you provided and love some of the suggestions. We talk a lot internally about how Jane is never "done". We will always be working with Jane on self-improvement - usually in iterations of each feature. So this feedback is super helpful thank you!

Making my life easier

It has been a bit of a challenge getting everything set up, but the support and the instruction made it easier than just about any software package I've had to learn in the past.

Vorteile

The price and the funtionality and the fact that it is supported with new functions on an ongoing basis. I love that the EHR and the scheduling and payment processing are all integrated and it is all in the same basic account.

Nachteile

I have some features I would like incorporated, but I hesitate to state because I believe they will be addressed soon enough. Specifically, I look forward to when the scheduler will check a thrid party calendar for availability so that my wife can put something on my personal calendar important enough to take me off schedule.

For the calendar - is your wife booking on your third party calendar or on the Jane schedule?

Jane does have integrations with third party calendars where you can subscribe to have either just your shifts, or your appointments (with only patient initials) linked to your personal outside calendar.

It's not, however a 2 way synch, but she could also have a log in to your Jane calendar and she could pop a break in your day where she's booked you in for something during work hours? Ah, if you hover over an appointment, break, or shift in the schedule and then click the resize button that appears at the bottom right you can drag and drop to adjust the appointment time (shorter or longer). Let us know if we can give you a hand with this :)

Yay for fast friendly tech support!!

Vorteile

Aside from the ease of use and sleek design (which are both just amazing) my favourite feature is easily the support team. As the only receptionist for a busy clinic, who isn't always the most savvy with technology and troubleshooting, I can always rely on my Jane team to help! Even when it ends up being a question for a tech division and not their platform at all they always give me the answers I need! They are fast and friendly and easily the best technical support team I've ever worked with.

Nachteile

I really can't complain. The best program I've worked with thus far.

Loving Jane

I have had great experience with setting up Jane and I have had to call Jane support many times. They are fantastic to work with. They have always been helpful and extremely pleasant. I am so very pleased that I chose Jane.

Vorteile

The product is easy to use and very intuitive.

Nachteile

I would like the option to use my preferred name because my clients know me by a different name. So far the option does not exist for staff members only for patients.

Jane Software Review

Great. Easy to use and implement. Switched from another software and setup only took a few weeks.

Vorteile

Jane was easy to use, easy to setup and offered a lot of functionality that other software's did not. We used this for an integrated practice of healthcare professionals & holistic professionals. They liked it in both industries.

Nachteile

There was nothing that I did not particularly like about the software.

The ease of use with Jane App is phenomenal. Integrating from our previous EHR was simple and the Jane team was so helpful during that process. I love the option to submit & vote on 'Feature Requests' and the support team is always so thorough whenever we need some help!

Nachteile

One thing currently missing is the ability to track authorizations that are bound by both date and visit count. It would also be great to be able to check benefits & eligibility within Jane.

So Happy

And we built Jane to manage multiple locations (with online booking by location, reporting and pricing by location, and the ability to share a patient list and client log ins across locations too!). You can also report by practitioner, whether they work at a single or multiple locations. Have you ever used the "Shift+L" key to toggle quickly between your location's main schedule?

I 'd love to hear more about where you're struggling to divide your clients by locations and maybe we have some tips to help! I looked through our emails here but didn't see any specific questions from you, but perhaps I've missed it... We'll follow up via email now.

Booking, Billing and Charting is all in once place. Awesome!

Overall, I really liked using JaneApp. I did end up switching to another system that's similar but doesn't need to have the login feature. I might consider switching back if they removed their log in template.

Vorteile

I really liked this product because all of my billing, charting and bookings happen in one place. It's easy to use and a feature I really like is that I can access and share my intake forms with anyone else using the system. I've gotten a lot of helpful information from other's notes. Love the community feel!

Nachteile

The biggest thing I don't like about the software is that in order to book an appointment, the person needs to make a (free) account. I work with a lot of seniors and having to have a login and password for yet another system tends to be frustrating.

Excellent app for running a Physiotherapy clinic

I can't say enough good about this app. I am only sorry it took me so long to get it.

Vorteile

The Jane App was easy to set up for online booking, accounting, charting and telehealth features. If I had any questions, the staff at Jane were always quick to reply with helpful suggestions.

I am not a fan of taking time to get to know any software. Getting to know Jane was the best experience I have had in learning any new online system or app.

New to Jane

Overall, the utilization and ease of use of Jane is wonderful. With little training, we are able to navigate the system.

Vorteile

Jane was suggested to our office by a new, incoming provider who wanted to try it (she had never used it either). We found it super simple to set up and it was similar to our EHS system we use for our Dermatology Practice.
With the exiting of the provider who suggested Jane, we have decided to convert our entire EHS over to Jane as we are a direct care med practice.

Nachteile

What we, as a practice, wish Jane did have was the ability to create "files" under the file category so we can organize our uploads like "patient progress photos", Identification cards, medical records, etc. When we have dozens of uploaded files to sift through, it's time consuming and seemingly unnecessary with a simple feature of having the ability to create sub folders.

Best.Decision.Ever.

We chart for 5 disciplines, each with their own chart templates, all scheduling/calendaring is done by the patients through their portal,we take payments with Jane, we resell and prescribe through Jane, and more. It is a member of our team, and we rely on it greatly. And, it great at her job!! We love Jane!

Vorteile

We love everything about Jane! We’ve been using Jane for close to a year now, and we cannot be happier! It is so very easy to set up and use this program, even getting help is simple and easy. We went from paper to electronic charting in the blink of an eye, and we’ve never looked back! Templating is super easy, and the patients LOVE the simplicity of handling their appointments; we get compliments all the time from our patients regarding Jane, so that’s huge!

Nachteile

There is absolutely nothing that we don’t like about Jane, and I mean that honestly. The few things that might be considered “cons”, are things that can be submitted as feature requests, nothing negative against the program itself.

Jane App - #1 EHR on the market for their customer service, software quality, and price

Jane App software has been an excellent experience for myself and for our clients. I have loved Jane App the moment I signed up with their software program!

Vorteile

It is easy to use and train anyone regardless of their computer technology experience. It is quick and easy to find what you are looking for. It is great software program with excellent costumer service. Jane App is innovative and the Jane App team is always trying to update their software to make it better for the future.

Nachteile

There was a glitch in Jane App software and our business gmail account yesterday that lasted for a couple hours. We couldn't communicate back and forth through email. This has only happened once and it was unusual.

I am super excited to tell you that Secure Messaging is in progress! If you haven't done so already, make sure you add your vote to this thread on our public customer feedback site to stay updated on the project https://janeapp.canny.io/feature-requests/p/secure-messaging-within-jane.

Have you enabled patient self-check-in? Jane will let you know when a patient has self-reported their arrival in real-time. Jane will do the same when other staff click to Arrive an appointment too. Please do reach out to support so we can take a look at your account with you and eliminate the need to refresh so much.

Excellent choice

Vorteile

easy to use and teach to new users, great customer support and a simple way to find out how to do or create things in the software.

Nachteile

too dependent on the mouse. I would like to see more keyboard response options as an alternative.

Thank you for taking the time to review. I think it's great that you find Jane easy to use, but I hear you on the hope for more keyboard response options.

Efficiency is crucial while in a busy clinic atmosphere, so Jane does have a few shortcuts to cut down on mouse clicks.

Jane App

Vorteile

Easy to use on multiple platforms. Can use with many devices wherever I have internet

Nachteile

No major complaints. Unable to customize color of interface

Jane ROCKS!!!

Vorteile

Very easy to set up! Very fast to navigate and document. Very easy for billing and practice management. A full suite of easy!!!

Nachteile

I have zero cons concerning JANE! Get this program! I've had 4 others before... This is amazing!!! The BEST!!!

RMT booking sysytem

Awesome! My patients love it as much as i do!

Vorteile

Easy to set up, Intuitive -they really put a lot of effort into making Jane user friendly. Always have your back with quick customer service-phone/email. Really shake my head as i should have purchased it years ago, my business is growing, my patients are happy and i'm in full control over my schedule on my laptop or Cell.

Nachteile

Simply put-there are none. Its a superior product with excellent customer support!

I like that is mostly intuitive to use.

Some of the settings are confusing because there are multiple places to turn things on and off and a master on-off switch.

Morning Melanie,

We agree that all those settings can seem unnecessary if you are working as a single practitioner. We're actually looking at making some changes so that those toggles don't appear in your individual staff profile if you're the only one in your account. If you don't work with other practitioners, then you don't really need to tell Jane how you like to run things in 3 places!

If you worked with others, however, the decision making looks a little different. For example, Yes we want our clinic to have online booking , but no our Counsellor doesn't want it , and yes our Acupuncturist does .

I'm going to share your thoughts here with the members of our team that will be working on this for 2021.

Never going back...

Wouldn't use anything else and I'm just starting Jane. It feels really strong like it can handle the work and it is seamless.

Vorteile

I love the customer service. They are they ANYTIME you need them. I love that I can double book patients and set up the schedule the way I'd like it. It feels so nice. It really feels like someone other than me is running my practice! Someone that I trust is running it!!!

Nachteile

It took a while to figure out scheduling but it was worth it because the app I was using could not do it. Having to buy a square terminal was expensive but Jane does offee a 35% coupon which saves about $100.

Jane is user friendly and support is amazing

Vorteile

Once set up, the program is very user friendly and new staff can pick up the basics very easily. Patients using the online booking also experience this easy to use interface. If you have any issues along the way, the Jane support team is very responsive if you can't find what you are looking for in the Jane guide and videos. Team onboarding is very easy. The opportunity to provide feedback to what future developments are made to the software is desirable.

Nachteile

Set up was a little cumbersome (confusion between templates vs . intake forms vs. surveys for example) and not being able to view and edit the template emails in the same location. As well, some features that I would have expected are not yet in the app such as "auto-populating" requisitions, for example.

I'm hearing that you are finding Jane user-friendly (awesome) and that you feel directly supported by our team (even better!).

I am excited to let you know that Jane's Intake Form, Chart Template, and Clinical Survey areas are currently being redesigned! I hear you on the ability to edit all email templates in one area too- this is something that we want to simplify in the future.

Oh, and Jane has an existing feature called Fillable Forms, which might assist with requisitions. This feature will allow you to automatically fill out a PDF file that can be exported and faxed, or uploaded to the patient file area. Excellent software and people

Vorteile

The software is easy to use and anytime there is a concern, the team is always quick to respond and very helpful. They are always working to improve as well.

Nachteile

No major cons experienced at this point - i've been using this software as a practitioner for 3 years now.
