App is good, Jane terminal is not ready for sale yet.

Jane App is efficient, mostly easy to navigate.
Nachteile
Purchased the Jane terminal and spent days on the phone talking to customer service reps trying to get the terminal to work. Waited hours for call backs that never came. In the end, I returned the terminal and purchasing a square terminal.
App itself has only minor issues, but definitely better than using paper for notes. I switched to Jane hoping to be able to integrate payments through the jane terminal & streamline everything, since the terminal doesn't work and I am only using it for note taking- 90$ a month is quite expensive. There are other systems out there that can do similar for much less.

I am sorry to hear that we couldn't get the terminal up and running with your Internet setup, but glad you found a solution that works best for your practice! I am going to look into what might have happened with those callbacks - we never want you waiting for hours. In terms of pricing, our model represents our true cost for running Jane. This means we don't artificially inflate our pricing to account for discounts and have worked hard to make our pricing as fair (and competitive) as possible. Another satisfied customer!!
There aren’t enough amazing words to say. The software is great, and the customer service is a 10/10!!!

I am technologically challenged…. Jane is intuitive, user friendly, and highly customizable!!

Not so much a problem, just a statement. The initial set up of all of my templates and SOAP notes took quite a bit of time. Once I got them the way I wanted, they take no time at all.

It works but it's complicated to get started
Good enough system, just didn't work for what we were looking for and after 5 months we switched to a different system

Lots of features make Jane a great appointment scheduler, products were easy to put into the system, services took longer

Was somewhat tedious to set up, a lot of different options we didn't need made setting it up more time consuming then we wanted

Our goal is to have Jane be as simple as possible - both for those who run a more basic practice, yet powerful for those who would require the use of more advanced features. I am sorry to hear that the transition to Jane felt tedious and time-consuming. This is certainly not the experience we envision for clinic owners and their team members.
More features allow Jane to be helpful to as many different practices as possible but comes with a setup complexity that we're always looking to improve. Were you aware that we offer a free dedicated 1:1 Account Setup Consultation call to help you get up and running? As well, we've also started testing a 'White Glove' set up service, where we actually do the setup for you. Our team is always here to help guide you with unlimited support, but we get that sometimes you just need someone else to do the homework!

I like how easy this software is to use and how helpful the staff is when I have issues finding something.

There is a little bit of a learning curve to start getting everything set up and in templates, etc, but that will be necessary with every system.

Fabulous for Self-Employed Doctors!
I run my practice using Jane almost completely. It's a game changer.

More than a calendar/patient management system
I use the calendaring, patient portal, inventory, insurance billing and time-of-service billing, credit card processing.
Vorteile
With Jane, you get flexibility of features, professional and modern looking platform for you and your patients, a direct line to the company for suggestions and improvements and so much more! I am always amazed at how inexpensive the platform is for what you get. On top of all that, the company itself always feels like a part of my team. They are responsive, enjoyable to talk to, knowledgeable. I feel like they are supportive and rooting for me.
Nachteile
Honestly, nothing. I can't think of a single thing they don't do well or aren't willing to improve on. They usually figure out improvements before I can suggest them.

I am the client care coordinator for my mental health care organization and I find this software to be very intuitive. The scheduling page layout is set in a way that would come natural to most people, so I do not have to waste time guessing where everything is.The product is very easy to use. What you cannot figure out yourself, you can go to Jane University to watch videos or email customer service to guide you through the process.It is great that we have the ability to standardize our own language used on the booking page and the scheduling page. It is really customizable.All in all, I would recommend this product to other therapy clinics.
Nachteile
The settings section is a bit complicated for the full access user. I love all of the options available, but some of the subtitles do not match the content included in that section. It could use some re-organizing.

Wonderful and easy to use.
We don't require a receptionist, and for independant contractors, this is a dream!
Vorteile
The business can run itself, so much less emails and phone calls to deal with. Ease of use for appointments and direct billing are great!
Nachteile
Can't think of anything much. I like that people have to give 24 hours notice to cancel, but if they can't cancel themselves, then they tend to no show.

Amazing Software, wish I got it sooner
Love the support when initially setting this up and all the help along the way when needed. The team at Jane responds quickly and they are so helpful.
Vorteile
It’s ease of use. How patients love it and always tell me that it’s the best system they have seen.
Nachteile
The only thing I think would be more beneficial to my practice is the ability to send emails from Jane and not have to use an integration like mailchimp.

The local standard for clinic operations
It's been very good so far, a bit of a learning curve coming from another system but I learned this way of doing things after a while.
Vorteile
It's a familiar system to most people in BC, used by every RMT that I know as well as most acupuncturists, naturopaths, physiotherapists and chiropractors. It's a hands free scheduler and a versatile electronic health records system. As a solo practitioner (no receptionist) this makes my life a lot easier.
The Jane team has put more effort lately into adding and refining features which has been great.
Nachteile
The downside of trying to be a system for everyone means that at some point it might become too difficult to use, or difficult to learn, especially as Jane becomes popular in other countries .

Jane use with solo physical therapy practice
Very positive, customer support is very good.

I have not explored the insurance billing aspect of Jane yet, so I can't comment on how well that works.

#1 Fan and customer
As mentioned, our on-line booking is up 400%.
Scheduling and billing are better organized than before also!

It’s a little tough to get started, but when I had any difficulties, The Jane Team was there to take me through the steps to set up or fix anything I didn’t know how to do.
Since I’ve implemented JANE, our on-line booking has increased 400%!
And finally, if I have a billing or invoice issue, The Jane team is always there to help me make my patients happy!
I couldn’t be happier with this entire system!!
Nachteile
Setting up is a tiny confusing if you’ve never set something like this up before. But so is building a rocket ship, or building something from Ikea, for the first time! Lol!

Glad we switched
Best cloud based EHR software and customer service in the industry. They have thought of everything and more. Highly recommend it to my colleagues!
Vorteile
Completely comprehensive package that includes front and back office coverage. Online booking, payments, loyalty programs, inventory, packages, and insurance billing without hidden fees. Constant upgrades to make life even better at no charge. Best of all, the support is just as good as the software.

I have no cons to mention. There are no cons.

Jane is an excellent product
Excellent.
Vorteile
The product is user friendly, robust, covers almost everything one could want from a software. Support is excellent. Value for money is exceptional. I can't say enough good things about the product/company and support. Often companies will be very nice to you before you buy, but then leave you hanging post purchase....not Jane, their support before and after have been unparalleled. Our clinic is both medical and cosmetic and Jane is able to handle both aspects.
Nachteile
Very few features that are missing that I would like to see. The main one is the ability to print labels for labs. It's apparently on their list of requests so hopefully in the future. Other people have requested secure emailing from within Jane and other small things, but compared to any other medical/health care practitioner software I"ve seen, Jane has certainly been my favorite.

So appreciate the enthusiasm and the notes.
I saw one of our Jane clinics recommending a workflow for printing labels - in case it's helpful...
They export their Client List from the Reports tab into a CSV (you can run by date range to find new patients created in that time period) and then import the CSV to Avery's software before printing. You do have to do a little manual work to remove the fields you don't want but some have reported success!
Hope that helps for now, and I'll add your vote to that feature request.

All-in-one practice management
Overall, change is always difficult. But, at least the Jane team makes it as stress-free as possible, and all of my expectations have been met.

Jane is constantly growing to add more features, and will continue to be something that helps to streamline daily practice and manage details over time.

Macros are one aspect that can be helpful with developing daily soap notes.

We have tripled our support team in the last 8 months! I'd put money on you getting a helpful, friendly and accurate response in under one day. ;)

Amazing software for any Health Care Provider
From both a legal health care provider chart documentation standpoint, AND a business standpoint, Jane App Is SUPER user friendly and just over all awesome

I have to give a BIG shout out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for not only reaching out to ensure I had all the info I needed and that I didn't have any questions or concerns, but he went ABOVE AND BEYOND and had [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] (Thank you SOOOO much too!) recreate a VERY comprehensive form for me! I am beyond grateful for this collaborative effort from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] which has made a happy customer even happier! It was a huge burden lifted off my shoulders right now. My experience with their customer service is all positive!

Jane App has already greatly exceeded my expectations! I love that everything I wanted (and more!) is integrated all into one platform. The booking/scheduling, intake forms, telehealth, HIPAA compliance, appt reminders all in one!

I don't really have anything negative to say at this time. Although the initial start-up is a little overwhelming, as it would be with anything that offers what they do, it is made to be as user friendly as possible.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE AND PRODUCT
I could not rave enough about JaneApp as a product and the team behind it. The features are not only helpful but evolve daily to be even MORE helpful. As if the product itself wasn't great enough, the customer service team is just superb. It's actually a great day for me when I do have to contact them. Can't say enough positive things!

Perfect tool for small to medium medical practice
I have substantial experience in high tech, and changed professions mid way, I am delighted to use the tool that sets the bar high even for more advanced corporate environments. In fact, perhaps they are this good, as because they have a vision, good tech heads and excellent support culture and they are not encumbered by heavy corporate guidelines. Everyone is just so darn pleasant in the team too, even when we are frustrated. Founders are accessible and friendly. I recommend JaneApp to all of my colleagues.

It is sleek, modern, intuitive and very easy to use. Modern office tools should work just like the other application in our market place - this is a high demand from the users, but this SW does just that - it fulfills all of my EHR SW requirements while feels light and flexible. I can configure and change things on the fly, no need for heavy implementation process. Training associates takes less then 5 minutes. Team is addressing any new functionality and gaps in existing functionality constantly, without me even asking.
Nachteile
Insurance functionality was initially missing, which was ok with me, now it is getting rolled out, and a road is a little bumpy, but way better then it could have been and the team has been great dealing with us customers.

Jane is INSANE!!!!! Best Software EVER!!
I can't even begin to explain how well this software is working out for us.
Vorteile
I have had this software for going on two weeks. We need to migrate from our old system quickly. Jane's customer support team is always prompt and thorough with responses, and all of them are so nice. Because of Jane, I'm already almost ready to go live. The system is easy to use and very understandable, yet packed full of features.GET JANE and Watch Jane Run Your Practice!!

I am a technical person so implementation has not been hard. Jane staff has helped me when needed.

Jane App is excellent from a Therapist's perspective
Vorteile
I really like the UX design of Jane App, as do my clients. Both myself and my clients find it very easy to use and the recurrence feature is wonderful, as are the automatic reminders built into the system.
Nachteile
Some of the pathways to access different features in Jane do not make the most sense, but once you get used to the system it makes it easier. Also, this is a Canadian company, so much of the time the spelling is in British English vs. American English. Not a big deal, but sometimes it can be annoying to have to manually change spellings on forms.

Jane has upped my professional image and provides me greater control of my office management duties. My clients love the booking and detailed receipts.Before I even knew just what Jane could offer my office management I was sold on their terrific support staff . Simply the best of any company I’ve ever dealt with (and I’ve been in business a long time).

Does a great job for me to manage my client info and bookings. Has most everything I need in one place.

The report options are great and cover just about everything, but needs further work in consolidating data for easier access.

Excellent customer service!

The software is very customizable and they are continually working to make it more efficient. The customer service is absolutely outstanding. Myself and my staff cannot say enough good things about how the Jane team genuinely care about us and are able to help us in a clear and timely matter with any issues we may have!

There is nothing that stands out to me that I don't like about this product at this point (there were a few things early on but Jane has resolved all of them).

Great platform
I was my own business with myself as the only practitioner. I was doing everything from providing the services, to marketing, to admin. It would’ve been great had I not been a new mom and had the pressures of a new pandemic all at once. Still, I feel Jane App saved me from bigger mistakes I could’ve made on my own or with a different product. I tried Unified Practice while interning elsewhere, but that was bulky and didn’t take care of financials and multiple team members of other disciplines, which is where I was heading towards.

There were many features that I would’ve forgotten or not known to do for my first business.
Nachteile
I wanted to do a post session survey for session that my client did on her own. I could only create a survey form for something that was on my schedule as a practitioner. However, my clients have some sessions with me and some on their own that I assist them with. I didn’t want to have to use an additional trainer app such as TrueCoach.

Most helpful Is the reduction of patient missed appointments with the reminders.

As a clinic owner I've also been sharing my personal experience around the temporary closure of my practice (due to covid-19) with our Jane Team.
I've had to communicate with patients, lay off salaried staff, defer practitioner rent payments (my clinic income), and apply for business continuity loans.
All of that to say I'm so glad to hear that Jane may have helped to make this process just a little bit smoother for you and your practice.
I keep calling this period a "hibernation" because we're all doing this together for a season... and we'll all eventually emerge!

Amazing Customer Service
Jane has solved so many daily issues with organizing and running my clinic. CSR with customer support walked me through the software and helped fix my mistakes. I have never received such efficient, friendly and knowledgeable help from a tech support source before. Jane will always be there to help you and their staff are there every step of the way.

Great all-in-one program
I've worked at other clinics where we've had to use multiple systems for scheduling, billing, and documentation and it really gets time consuming and redundant. Jane does a beautiful job of marrying all of these tasks and making it as simple to use as possible.
Vorteile
Scheduling, billing, documentation all in one! There's no need for multiple softwares if you're using this in your clinic. This does it all!
As a clinician, the "duplicate chart" option is a life saver!
Nachteile
Occasionally the system is slow or doesn't load. The Jane team is usually pretty good with trying to resolve this issue in a timely manner - though admittedly it can really get in the way if you're trying to refresh your day's schedule to find out who/ what your next appointment is.

Jane is a best fit for physical therapy
My experience is that I am learning to use the program for a clinic where I'll do independent PT work as well as setting up a Jane account for my own private practice. Since I am new to Jane, I've been able to be on a number of training sessions with the Jane staff, who have all been easy to work with, patient in their explanations. Other companies have not bee so user friendly. The SOAP note formatting works very well for us, along with such easy navigation through charting and billing.

Multiple features including the templates for assessment and treatment ability to copy and paste from previous treatment dates

I love Jane
It's been great. Transitioning from one software to another involves a lot of learning and struggles, but the Jane Team is supporting us well.

It is slick and beautiful. Plus customer support is amazing.

It is currently laborious to direct bill to insurance companies, although Jane has promised they will fix this by the end of 2020... I hope they do!

Incredible support
This software and the team that supports truly delivers exceptional care.

If there are limits they would be only my tech insufficiencies;). I would love to have a write to text translation program syncing option from my surface as I find the drawing and ‘writing’ to not be super sensitive, but again I think this might be my computer vs your software.

The best!
Even though I am the only practitioner in my company, it was still worth it for me to get this program. I shopped around a lot and this was the best option!
Vorteile
They are serious about patient privacy, their software is pretty, everything is very customizable, and their customer service is amazing! I have had questions about things and they email back with great responses. One time they even made a custom video detailing the steps I was wondering about.
The charting system is amazing! I love the templates.
Nachteile
Because things are so customizable and they have thought of everything, it can sometimes be A LOT. I have been using it for about a month and I still sometimes have a hard time finding certain buttons or settings.

It's fairly easy to use for the front desk.

I feel jane is not intuitive enough. I have used ClinicMaster and CareWare in the past and I felt that they were more user friendly. The EMR on Jane is easy for the practitioners to use.

By far the best
I can't say enough good things about this software and everything it does. It is the sole reason managing my clinic is as easy as it is.

No Stress
This has been an amazing experience and I learn more and more everyday using this, when Covid-19 began we could have easily lost all clients but due to Jane setting up Telehealth right away we were able to continue with treating our clients.
Vorteile
How easy it is to get answers if you have any questions at all, between the Jane Team and the helpful guide you can easily transition over to this software.
Nachteile
Maybe a basic delete button on an invoice that was processed incorrectly.

We love Jane App and we are assured that solutions will be found to resolve the two previous points.

Bilingual option for customers not available in full, fees to high with Jane Payments.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Jane! So appreciated.
It's funny - I was thinking about Jane's bilingualism just yesterday... as you probably know, you can choose to have Jane's patient facing language as either French or English (well, actually there's about 10 languages to choose from!), and, since much of Jane is customizable, you can add both languages for treatment names etc.

As for payment processing fees... this is also something I'm thinking a lot about. I've been passionate about transparency on fees for a long time, as most traditional processing hides the true costs. More to come on this subject but I'm running out of room here! Thanks for the feedback.

The software is easier to remind patients of their appointments and inputting their files in.
Nachteile
I wish when you put the schedule and vacation in that you can just use a drop screen to input the days/hours instead of having to click on each individual day.

You may not have heard yet, but Jane has a handy new tool for creating multiple shifts, across multiple days, and for multiple staff members, all at one time (and from within a single screen).

I am able to grow with this software and it continues to surprise me. 😊
Vorteile
If I have any questions that are not answered by their tutorial, the staff rrspond within a day with answers. They continue to respond until you are fully satisfied. They have not disappointed!
Nachteile
The third party app (frim Wells Fargo) for taking payments, they do not provide a daily breakdown for the user about the charges incurred and the fees associated per day.

Our goal is always that you would feel like joining Jane isn't only about access to a software platform, but also to a group of people who are your cheerleaders as you navigate owing and running a practice.
We just added 4 new support staff to that group (and 6 more are coming in the next few months!) so I'm looking forward to introducing you to some new friendly faces (voices?) soon.
And I would love to hear more about the payment solution you're working with! Jane doesn't have a partnership with Wells Fargo, although I agree that the payment processing world is well known for confusing reporting and fees.
Jane does have our own integrated payments (Jane Payments) which allows you to take payments right in Jane. If you want more info about that just let us know!

I Love Jane!
Vorteile
Ease of implemation and use, excellent customer service, good value for investment.
Nachteile
It would be great to have a feature for practice consultation. I have a workaround for this, but would be ideal to have a way of entering the practice as something other than a new patient for invoicing purposes. I use Jane to book this into my schedule and invoice the practices I consult to.

It sounds like you'd like to use Jane to invoice a private company or business, is that right? You're correct in saying that Jane is currently set up to invoice "patients" specifically, but that said, I'd really like to hear more about your needs here.
