Vorteile

The flexibility of its Report capabilities is outstanding. I can generate reports quickly and in multiple different ways to suit different projects & my own personal queries.
Its easy for my staff to enter their Timesheets as they finish each project or at the end of each day.
Being Cloud based it doesn't matter where I am, on what PC or Tablet I'm working from - it just simply all works & its all there !
What more needs to be said !

Nachteile

Probably due to my own lack of understanding, but in when a Staff member leave & I archieve their data, some of those projects continue to be worked on, but the departed staffer's times aren't included unless you delve deeper to activate their times (which depends on you remembering the time period they worked to & from).

Would like just a "Print" button. If there is one - I can't find it in all the years I have used it. I just have to Control P - but sometimes it prints weird.

The chat and phone service. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] walked me through the process with poise and patience, and got me to where I understood the navigation of printing quality customized reports.

Nachteile

The software is good. The telephone operating system, for example, using a phone digit to get to a certain area, didn't work. It simply ignored the command. So I resorted to the chat room, was introduced to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], and once he was involved it was a perfect customer service experience.

Day to day workflow is easy to use. Simple and to the point. The custom reports feature is super handy and something I use frequently to get a view of what my team has been up to.

Nachteile

Not as flexible as I would like. Doesn't have external timer apps. Document output (PDF) format is not very attractive for sending to clients and is not customizable.

I like the online chat customer service. They're always helpful. They are the reason I like this software most.

Setting up the features for a novice administrator is not straight forward
It seems that there is no distinction between "Approving" a time sheet entry and "Allowing" the entry for edit by the employee.
If the employee makes an error entry, there should be a way for him to quickly correct it without requiring the supervisor to "allow" it.

Vorteile

I really like this tool because it allows me to know which activities I am spending the most time on and allows me to plan in advance the activities that should have the highest priority in order to dedicate time. It is a monitoring tool to determine opportunities for improvement in tasks that merit more dedication.

Nachteile

What I like the least is that the architecture of how information is loaded is not very friendly. However, it is a tool that becomes time friendly.

The program is intuitive and offers what I need. There are a number of reports available and customizable in so many ways. The clock in and clock out buttons are conveniently placed. The time entry screen is compact and allows space for making long notes.

Nachteile

Setting up an employee is the only thing I have needed assistance with and this is only because I add an employee so rarely. There are lots of options available to cover virtually any setting you could want but it can seem be a little overwhelming.

What I liked most was the GPS tracking capability on timesheets.com.

As with any software, bugs do occur. I've experienced bugs with this software, but they didn't take long to resolve.

It's nice when you have employees that work from home and can still clock in and out. It's also nice to not have hand written time sheets to try to decipher .

You can change your own times, which is nice in a way, but it can easily be abused. Other than that everything else is pretty nice!

The software is very intuitive and user friendly. I didn't have to spend much time training my employees to navigate through all the features. The pricing is very competitive and the customer service representatives is very knowledgable and helpful to answer my question in timely manner! I am very happy to switch my timesheet tracking service to Timesheets.com!

Nachteile

The only thing will be my staffs sometimes mention that it will take a few minutes to log in each morning because it takes some time to start up the PC and lunch the login page, versus if it's a machine they can log in as soon as they enter the office. If there is a way they can log in with their smartphone but strictly limited on office premise only, that will be perfect.

I like the ability to allow for individual employees to have more than one job position. I looked around for different online timesheet software that allowed for the capability to do so, and there were not that many. The price is fair and the layout of the website is easy to read.

It would be nice to have a timesheets app for iPhone and Android available as well in addition to the mobile site available.

As a business owner with employees who work from home, keeping track of time is a difficult task. Timesheets makes it incredibly easy to track attendance and days off.

There have been a handful of times over the past year that there was a glitch and a day got erased for one of my employees. While this is frustrating, customer service was extremely helpful and fixed the problems quickly.

I love that I don't have to worry about vacation, sick days or hours anymore. If I have a question Timesheets.com employees are amazing about answering the question and fixing my issue.

I wish there was a function where I could duplicate files so when I have a new employee I don't have to fill in all the same blanks.

There's many things to like! It's easy for employees to use the clock in & out feature, it provides an audit trail of the time entry, had plenty of flexibility when setting it up to enable us to capture the information we need. I can't say enough good things about the excellent customer support & training!

Haven't really come across any big issues, I do suggest using their training resources before setting up your company. There's a lot of options, and if you don't know about them you won't be using this to it's full potential.

As a Team Leader, I need this tool to manage member staffs in my team. This website gives me enough function for my needs. By looking through the timeline I can see which one is working on the task, which one is taking a day off. I also can make a schedule, report, add a new user, add customers, create new accounts code for the staffs, close and update payroll, and much more. They also provide a mobile version, so you can use it on your smartphone. You should try and see the benefits that this tool brings to you.

They just give us an announcement function, but I also need a chat function to communicate with the other members.

Clock in and out easy, dates and times you work at easy to find, adding PTO is ok - but it would be nice if you could put in PTO at 1 time (ie - you are going to be out for a few days) in stead of having to do it one day at a time

If you are having issues and need to change your clock in or out time - ie computer issues or forgot to clock in or out. Changing your time is not user friendly and not easy to do. Sometimes it wont let you change it at all

I like that I can easily clock in and out and see who else is clocked in. I also like being able to add pay period start and end dates to the schedule.

That I can not see each pay period for each employee broken down. For example, if I wanted to see how many hours an employee worked the past two weeks I have to add them manually. I would love to be able to select dates and get the hours worked that way. Also, the layout is hard to use on phones, especially when trying to create a work schedule for staff.

The ease of use and outstanding customer support. The reports made it easy to allocate and manage project costs. Non only is the platform powerful but its by far the most affordable out-there.

Be great to have a dedicated app instead of only browser based access. The geo mapping was not consistent allowing not to indicate location.

I like that everything is timestamped, the multiple reports you can run to keep track of everything are very convenient. easy to watch staff hours and to make corrections.

there is no app to use; having to double check whether signed in or out due to timesheets timing out; the clockin screen is mobile friendly but the rest of the website is not mobile.

I have just finished my free trial with Timesheets. I was very impressed by the customer service. I had put some items in wrong and they were extremely helpful. I had a rep call me 3 times to make sure I had everything I needed. She walked me through the changes. I wish all companies operated this way!

I have just started so have not found anything wrong. This is a technical thing but I wish the IP address was for each specific computer and not just the companies address. I know I could get the camera security to take a picture but we don't have cameras on the computers for that option. Otherwise, no cons!
