Never any glitches with the software. It is easy for all of my employees to use. There is a mobile app which all of my providers use. Adding new employees is easy.

Nachteile

When you archive an employee who has left and you want to look at hours from previous years you have to reactivate them. Than you have to put their end date in again when you are finished with your reports. It would be nice to just be able to check a box to run the report and than uncheck them when the report is finished.

It's really simple for first time users and people that haven't used a time clock before. I love the interface and how easy it is for employees to punch in and out.

There are a few functions of the software that haven't been intuitive to me in the user process. Running custom reports, entering in employee schedules, setting up holidays, for example. However, I've always contacted customer support and they help me through my question within minutes. The answer is generally quite simple, but if I hadn't contacted support I wouldn't have gotten to the answer nearly as fast.

We have been looking for a program that could handle our needs for signing in and out on a daily basis. We came across this software while searching. To say that I am pleased would be am understatement. The technology is extremely easy to use and is a breeze for our least tech savvy employee.

Nachteile

My only request would be that they add a scheduling feature that could interface with the signing in and out. This way you could send schedules and ensure that employees are there as scheduled without going to another database.

I love that I can see at a glance my employees hours. I also love that this will calculate accrued PTO for me. I am able to input holidays that aren't traditional and easily choose which employees receive the holiday pay. Overall, this software makes it very time efficient and easy to check timesheets and get my employees paid.

None that I have come across yet. The software is very efficient and easy to navigate.

It was easy to pull out my phone as I was walking into work and clock in. The app was free and easy to create an account and use. Taking breaks was as easy as pulling out the app and pushing a button that started my break time. It was honestly the easiest way to clock in out of any job I've had. If I forgot to clock in or clock out, it was easy for my supervisor to go in and fix it. I also worked on payroll and the timecard outputs were very easy to understand.

I honestly don't have any complaints! It was a great program to use. Very user friendly and straightforward.

The customer support on Timesheets.com is fantastic! Every time I call they are able to immediately help me resolve my issues and they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The last representative I spoke with, [sensitive content ], went above and beyond, helping me input hundreds of lines of data and correct an omission I had made on multiple entries. I am so impressed at the level of service provided, especially in relation to how reasonably priced the monthly subscription is!

It has been easy to use for everyone. I have zero complaints from the employees about their use of the software.

I do not like that, I, as one of the administrators, cannot edit PTO once it has been entered, like you can regular clock in/clock outs. If I need to adjust the PTO time or I've entered the wrong date, I can not edit it. I have to completely delete the entry and start over. I really wish that this could be changed and become an option to do so.

It is very good modern software for having track of employees.

By using this software one can do everything what one HR can do on daily basis, so it is good software nothing to say bad about it.

Mobile app version is not available. I would like to have location pinned down when employee is logged in.
I would like to know an idea about where an employee logged in at. Also, if it can incorporate mileage which employee is on clock and GPS can track it.

The custom reports are really helpful for us to determine manpower costing for projects. We are able to gauge where we are spending our time and where we should be spending our time. Further, we are able to analyze our time spent on individual customers as well as projects.

Nachteile

It took me longer than I would have liked to get my feet under me, so-to-speak. I had multiple offers from the timesheets.com support team, but thought I could learn it on my own. I learned more in one phone call with a support person than I could have learned on my own for months. I wish I had made that call sooner.

The software is simple. It gives each staff member an easy way to clock in and out. The most important thing that I like is the customer service. I had a hard time setting it up (computer problems) and they walked me through every step. AAAA++++.

To be honest, there is not a lot that I don't like about it. I have no complaints with the software or my use of it.

As a user, I was given jobs with allocated times, that I would put my hours against. It had no affect to my payroll as I was salary paid. But I believe they used it to figure out costs of projects.
Was easy to start and end jobs, and keep track of them all.

I had a weird bug with the system a while ago, where it would not close a job if I had it opened in 2 browsers, not sure if its still the case.

Internet based so no problems with a station based program. As long as you have internet your employees can clock in/out and submit expenses.

Easy for employees to understand, not time consuming training.

Expenses should be uploadable in pdf format.

time/project tracking - for cost purposes into accounting. Faster and info in real time. Great expense tracking function. Our guys are all over Ontario and I can keep track of expenses in a timely manner.

Wish there was a time function on the project timers (like the hourly) When our operators clock in it's hard to see where they were first, if it showed the clock in/out would be easier to track.
Geo located not of any assistance since it doesn't track each stop during the day. Our operators travel quite a bit and visit many sites in a day.

Timesheets has been great in tracking time by multiple staff and consultants to support hourly billing of time to our clients. System is very intuitive and easy to use. Customer support has been excellent in addressing questions and challenges as we encounter them.

Nachteile

I would like to see some enhancement of the mileage and expense tracking feature. Many of our clients require start and end addressess and verification with an online route map to support mileage reimbursement and we currently are using the notes for this information but would prefer a more structured way to formalize and standardize reporting.

We do not use payroll functions but would like to use the sick leave and vacation tracking. We have explored lightly and found "how to" information a bit less clear than other features of the software.

In all the years I've been using this product, I don't know that Ive found a con yet. If there's something I need to do new like time off requests etc all I do is connect by chat or pick up the phone

It is easy, the functionality is real. Customer support is incredibly kind and useful. My personal experience is mostly with few people, and he always have helped me in my needs, as the other agents as well.

Due to the nature of my business, we had to figure out how to set up notes. And the way we found out to do it is a little difficult for the employees.

Web-based so staff and management can access from anywhere. Ability to correct mistakes is good, and PTO tally is nice so I don't need a separate database.

Being new to an automated, electronic system, it's not as easy to learn or as intuitive (for me) as I'd hoped, but with more use I'll become more confident. It does seem to be set up more for an 8-hr/day and 40-hr/week type business. Being retail, it's not a perfect match, but we're satisfied.

We love the ease of using the system. Our employees do not really need any training - they just watch the tutorials, and they are good to go. The reports are easy to run. We used to compile our excel timesheets manually, and also had to compile reports manually.

I wish that timesheets kept the data for longer than one year. Also, some employees have reported that capturing receipts through their phones is cumbersome.

We looked at multiple options when searching for a time tracking system and glad we chose Timesheets.com. You can't beat the price!

Ability to create color-coded/office specific schedules is extremely difficult. I have to use wheniwork to create our schedules - love their software as well other than that when people request off, they can't see if others have already requested off - probably only reason we still use timesheets.com. If you update your scheduling, I'd pay a small higher fee and love you even more!

maybe make the 'clock in' or 'punch in' the default so all employee have to do it that way. I didn't know of that option till it was too late to get my staff to change. I can certainly change it, but it's not that big of a deal. but maybe other companies feel it might be?

At our church, we are always looking for things to make our lives simpler so we can focus on more important things. Timesheets does this in spades and lets me run reports whenever I want and is so easy for everyone to enter their timesheets.

It would be helpful if there was a way to set an alert for my employees to let them know they have to update their timesheets.

Mainly it is very useful for the Expense tracker. They provide a mobile application as well so we can upload or add expenses online. No need to carry all the bills with us.

Sometimes receipts are not clear enough when uploading bills through the camera.

It is easy to use for our small staff. I like the outline of the log of the hours. We use this every day and it is convenient to tell if any employees forgot to clock in or out.

On the calendars sometimes when doing payroll we really have to make sure we get the correct month. I would suggest to look into that. Lucky I do not have to look for reports daily.
