Vorteile

The tool is very easy to use and the interface is very intuitive. It allows quickly monitor what kind of acitivities employees are doing during the day. The tool also can block certain social media sites, programs and sites to increase working productivity. There are other good features like keylogger, instant messages monitoring, screenshot capture, but I didn't check them .

Nachteile

The tool is available only for PC. It will be better to get the tool for mobile and track activities from mobile phones remotely.

I liked the detailed interface and easy usage. I can shape it as I want.

Nachteile

Nothing caught my attention. Maybe language support may come.

This is probably one of the most userfriendly programs I've ever used. I love the menu on the left that is self explainatory. I also love the snapshots that show the computer actions.

Nachteile

I can't think of any cons right now. I've been using this for 4 days and haven't found anything yet that I would consider negative or in need of improvement.

Comprehensive representation of the activities of the user specifically the timeline view as well as snapshots.

Nachteile

We deployed Controlio to our end users via intunes which required us to reach out to Support. They were helpful but will be good to have more resources available for deployment via intune.

Vorteile

You can use it as a passive production monitor, but it has also the controls to look deeper.

Nachteile

Some of the features are a little clunky and the UX could be a little more refined, but it works great and I like the other features.

The simplicity of setting it up and getting it implemented quickly across company devices. The data is also very simple.

There was an issue with a firewall that slowed down devices until we determined the issue. The firewall application was impacted after the download of Controlio until we figured out the origin of the problem and deleted the application.

The activity reports are super important to us so we can see where our users are spending most of their time, and how we can assist them with those tools. We do not control what they can and cannot access, so seeing what shortcuts or workflows they have created helps us help them, and potentially implement it for other users. We also really like the heatmaps, so we can see at what point in the day more users are using certain applications or websites. The screenshots are always a great option to see how we can coach a user on how they are spending their time throughout the day. The implementation was extremely easy. I used an RMM system to silently deploy the software on to all of our machines. Unexpectedly, this helps us mitigate theft from employees who leave the company.

Nachteile

With updates to mac machines, sometimes the software stops working, and I have to remote into the users machine to change the settings manually so it will continue to work properly. This creates a lot of manual work for me, and I never know when it is going to happen. I know the software for mac's is still technically in beta, so I hope this will be resolved soon.

With the help of this you can monitor your employee and also see the productivity of an employee within working hours. It has very clear dashboard which show summarize data with the help of graphs and have all the information like active time of employee, idle time of employee and their productivity score. It also help you in analyzing all the employee details at once so in future you can take any action based on that report. It also record employee screen and also alert if any website opened which is restricted.

I don't see any cons but yes we can only use it for monitoring and for other HR function we have to buy other software.

I can monitor internet usage and/or programs that employees are using during the work day. It gives me the amount of time spent on each site or program and the time of day. Very detailed and very pleased with this software. Before I had this software I had a problem employee who would surf the web and even watch streamed tv shows. Once I was able to review her works habits with her she straightened right up and no more problems.

We did a thorough analysis of all software packages; we have tested and tried each of them. We use the cloud version of Work Examiner (Controlio) and we immediately were convinced. It does *exactly* what we need in a seamless way.

Nachteile

No Mac version available. But we were informed they are working on this !

This tool helps you understand what your employee really do when you absent in the office.
It shows you:
* what webpages do employee navigate,
* captures keys that user pressed (logs keys)
* large amount of detailed statistcs/charts/reports by apps/pages and so on
* captures Chats/IM traffic
* captures files usage/downloads/uploads/online searches/emails
* and so on

It's not a simply useful app. This is the app that real business MUST HAVE!

Nachteile

For now Work Examiner cannot make you a cup of coffee, but I guess this will be available in the future updates (it's joke, but who knows...)
