Simple user interface, attractive environment and ease of finding related jobs made me like Houzz.

Houzz does not make any guarantees about finding a job and earning money, but it demands money for more features of the site.

They made me a website, I liked that I was able to customize my profile to showcase my business I wish they would send out more leads but I have been able to advertise through them

So far I don’t like hoe long it is in between gettin leads, I expected to get at least 1 lead a week, but maybe it will pick up

Every lead we received that was supposed to be private had already been contacted multiple times from numerous contractors from houze they would not address this issue and instead just demand payment.

Premade templates for estimating are great to compose new similar estimates.I am in front of quality clients. Also able to draw layouts of rooms and send email campaigns!

Creating a template for the first time is time consuming. I never understand the pre provided materials costs. Not all areas of marketing provides a ROI so start with your Zip Code. Loving it!

I loved using this to manage projects as it was really clear. It was fun to create the mood boards that is available to do and use the floor plans too create models and them see in 3D.

An accounting tool like Quickbooks but part of the Houzz Pro management package. Maybe integration of financing options for potential clients. It would completely overtake the market. It would put Houzz Pro in a position of exclusivity no one could dismiss.

My favorite features of Houzz Pro is the proposal and invoicing system. I can turn a room board into a proposal with one click and can customize any proposal to show as much or as little as I want! Once a proposal is approved, I simply turn it into an invoice with one button and send it off to collect payment. So easy breezy!I also have to mention that the chat system connects you with a real person, not a bot. This makes THE MOST difference compared to other management systems. I will never take this feature for granted.

Nachteile

It was a bit of a learning curve to figure out where everything was that I wanted to access. Some functions weren't as intuitive as others. Thankfully, the chat button makes this so much easier! Whenever I have felt "lost" learning this system, someone gets back to me in a few minuets with a solution or answer to my question.

I love that it has the phone 3D floorplanner that auto measures the room in a design appointment and transports it into their project. The mood boards are fun for client visuals. The back office proposals, invoice, pay now and purchase order functionsa are amazing!! So professional. I also love the accounting side for tax purposes. It is a life saver when I dont have the time to do the back office stuff.

filtering through leads and not a lot of furniture and accessories options for the floor plans. I wish I cound use the items that I upload for clients specifically like other software programs.

I've met a few other contractors that have been using Houzz for a while and they seem to be very happy with the platform. I've looked at it for a length of time and was ready to make some changes and think this is the best place to do it. The help I've had getting started has been great.

More importantly, our clients are well taken care of, all of their information is in one place and our team has access to all the information they need in a snap. I especially love how many leads we have received! It is amazing!

The only con I could really say is I get reports from potential clients that messages don't go through or sometimes they are sent to their spam folder. The customer service is absolutely awful. They are impossible to get a hold of. The ghost you as soon as there is a problem on their end. They do not give you a direct line to anyone. Their immediate response is they will schedule a call back. You’ll never receive that call.
