Zu den Funktionen gehören Auftragsabwicklung, Fertigungsmanagement, anpassbare Nutzerstrings und Berichterstattung. Die Inventarmanagement-Funktion konzentriert sich auf die Bereitstellung von Inventar an mehreren Standorten, die Überprüfung des Lagerbestands, die Überprüfung der Lieferantenverfügbarkeit und die Sicherstellung einer zeitgerechten Kapitalrendite des Inventars.

We've taken extensive measures in Megaventory so that our users are able to make adjustments and even backdate them so that pretty much any correction necessary is possible so as to ensure that overall company records remain accurate. Regarding QuickBooks Online we're constantly applying improvements to this very complicated integration but ultimately we're limited by the API being exposed to us. Things are gradually improving but we're aware there's ground to be covered still and we're on top of things and do our part as soon as QuickBooks does their side. Outstanding support!
Very good. Once gain it is the support and willingness to listen to feedback that has me sold!

The support is very good. We are developing our own "engineering" interface using the powerful API which comes built in. The support team has been very responsive and helpful through this process!
Nachteile
Honestly, I have nothing bad to say. They are responsive when you have issues and genuinely work hard to help you resolve them in a timely manner. This is all I ask of any supplier we have and Megaventory goes above and beyond. It is clear that they understand that their customer's success directly relates to their own success!

Best inventory management software I've used so far
Vorteile
I like the overall ease of inventory management that megaventory brings into the field, the customizability and the ways you can integrate with their APIs, they offer ready-to-go solutions for different frameworks, also we've been able to build our own custom integration.
Nachteile
We had issues with the amount of traffic that our company was dealing with, however the megaventory tech team were absolute champions and quickly reacted to the problem and helped us both improving our integration and making adjustments on their end

Great fit for startups and scale-ups

The quality of tech support. We were able to accomplish most of what we wanted on our own, but whenever we had tough questions or challenges the Megaventory team was quick to engage and always found a solution.

Megaventory is my most valuable assistant for sales and warehouse management
Vorteile
I like most features of megaventory a lot, because it helps me to create and send, with ease, sales quotes to our customers and also to know at any time how many products and parts do exist in our small business warehouse. I also use it as an archive to write down every warranty demand and the result from our technical staff evaluation.
Nachteile
Sometimes there are time delays between changing pages . When you need to act fast, this may be crucial , as you spend valuable time from your work.

Excelent value for money
Before Megaventory we were in total darkness. Thanks to this tool we now have control over what we are buying, storing and building. Despite being a small software compared to the big ERPs, it is truly keeping us alive. There are of course many things to be improved, but it does the most important things any manufacturing company needs to have.
Vorteile
It is very straightforward, so the implementation time is really short. You can pretty much start using it as soon as you buy it, although of course some configuration is necessary. It has a trial version which is amazing because you don't have to sign a contract or pay upfront and only afterwards realize what the software does/doesn't do.
We like that we can manage our procurement, inventory and manufacturing from one solution and that it integrates with SolidWorks. The customer support is also amazing. They answer really fast and help us figure out how to solve our problems. They will also do customizations at request, which we have some times needed, and they delivered to our satisfaction.
In a nutshell, we are getting great value for money.
Nachteile
We would love it if we could have:
1. A purchase requisition process that includes manager approval (our procurement department still receives emails and spreadsheets to know what to purchase)
2. A more comprehensive AP invoice functionality. We can only record invoices that are linked to a PO/material receipt, so the rest of them (electricity bill, insurance, travel expenses) we cannot record in the system. This means we have two sources of payables and that is not good practice. :(
3. Approval limits for POs for different users. Some of our buyers should not be placing orders of more than a certain amount, but we cannot restrict that.
We have not been too deep into costing or shipping functionalities yet, so I cannot comment on those two topics.

As already mentioned, we have taken down your requests for purchase quotes with manager approvals and order value limits for consideration regarding inclusion in our product roadmap - thank you for your suggestions!
Please note that you can create a product of Product Type Service and use that to record invoices such as those you mention (i.e. insurance, expenses, etc). Megaventory is not an accounting software so if you need a proper AP management, then you need appropriate bookkeeping software
So, although again we see the value of such functionality living inside Megaventory until more advanced bookkeeping features become available you can make use of Quickbooks Online which integrates with Megaventory and can fully track your AP and other bookkeeping information.

Just what we needed
Vorteile
We are now using Megaventory for over a year and we are extremely happy with the way it has organized our processes across our two companies. First of all, we could not find another software able to support multiple companies at this price tag. Second and most important: the technical support behind Megaventory is excellent! We wanted to set up some complex inventory views on the system and [sensitive content hidden] from the support team arranged a quick call with us and set it up all by himself at not extra cost. The guys are always available when help is needed.

A must need tool for your e-commerce!
I'd say it's been great using Megaventory. It really helped take our business to the next stage. The platform is extremely detailed and we're still exploring around and testing features which have been very helpful for our operations.
Vorteile
The ability to track and modify quantities in all scenarios. Whether its an adjustment, returned item by a customer, a sale, or new stock arrivals.
You can add relationships between each product and supplier. You have the freedom to add multiple suppliers and set costs for each SKU. There are also other features such as, quantity availability for each supplier and many many many more.
Also, there are reports for literally everything you can imagine. From stock aging, to product movement, to purchase reports, sales reports, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Nachteile
There are no ongoing things I dislike. The only thing is the entry barrier which requires integration (Doesn't take too long, especially that the Megaventory team are more than helpful). Also, getting used to the entire interface. It's extremely user friendly once you understand the concept of how things work.

Go mega on your inventory
We have or base control in Megaventory, to control manufacture and multiple warehouse goods.
Vorteile
One of the most easy to run software that can manage inventory and create work orders for manufacturing.
Nachteile
The manufacturing administration of the program is not all well developed, but it works out good one e you get familiar with it.

Good display flexibility
We are using Meg mostly to do purchasing and keep track of stock at this point, and it works well for this purpose. I think we will use it more fully as time goes on.
Vorteile
It appears to have a lot of flexibility with displays on the screen, customisable headings and templates.
Nachteile
I wish it were possible to drill down into products within BoMs and purchase orders etc. If you notice some information is wrong /missing at this point, you have to separately go to the Products list and find it. This seems illogical to me.
I find the different types of "price" and "cost" rather confusing, but that might be my lack of training at this point.

Seamless Multiple Location Inventory Management
Overall very satisfied experience. A product that adds significant value to business processes and operational management.
Vorteile
Megaventory's ease of use, seamless location wise reporting and great customer support makes it one of the best inventory management tool in its category. Additionally its integration with financial softwares such as QBO makes it a complete cost effective ERP system for SME's.
Nachteile
More flexibility is required in the manufacturing module to analyse budget vs actual costs. Processes that have continuously variable inputs are difficult to tackle in Megaventory especially when it is integrated with the financial modules.

I like the fact that the program is suitable for the production process of our product. The way it keeps track of the materials that go into the products we build, the way how purchase orders are made and received.

What I really miss about in this program:
- A planning feature: It would be really really nice to have a clear overview of all the sales orders with deadlines in a agenda like view.
- A feature to make a work order from a sales order. or to connect them and to make a work order for multiple different products

Lightweight and easy to use.
Vorteile
The web based interface is very convenient and easy to set up. We were able to get our customer up and running within a day.

A dedicated mobile interface would be a big plus. It works as is, but can be a struggle to use on the phone at times.

Megaventory is the logical "next step"
Having managed our supply chain in sheets before we looked for the "next step" and found Megaventory. We used Megaventory for the past weeks and can already see that - once setup - it eliminates a lot of the manual processes, frees up time and reduces a lot of the risks you face when managing everything in sheets. While setting it up and getting started was simple (also due to the great demo session and customer support in general) it manages to be complex enough to allow for further growth.

Good option for small business
For a small company with one location and a hundred SKUs or so it works great. I'm guessing it would grow just fine with us if we had more locations and more SKUs.
Vorteile
Lots of functionality for a small business. Really responsive customer support (when we encountered a bug we got a workaround in a day and fix in a few weeks). For a company on a very tight budget it doesn't break the bank. Each month more features appear.
Nachteile
The UI can be a bit confusing at times, especially for some of the advanced features. For example, applying serial numbers to finished goods and taking finished goods out of inventory by serial number can be complicated (of course, it's great that they support serial numbers).

Good overall, missing a few important features but we made some work around

Users don't need extended training to be able tu use it, same for admin.
Nachteile
Missing ability to break down units (purchasing a package of 10 and counting units in inventory).
Possibility to set up different authorisations depending on the fields of a PO.
Possibility that different users can edit at different stages of PO:
- Pending: User A is editing, User B is Viewing.
- Verified: User A can only view, B can edit.
Double approval on specific criteria is missing.

Hello,
thanks for your review. I'd like to address some of your cons if I may.
Unbundling of incoming items is fully supported - you just need a product code for the package and another for the included units. Once the package arrives you need to issue a Work Order to go from Package to Unit as per the 1 to 10 ratio you mention.
The per-field authorisation is a good idea for certain fields in certain orders as it will also allow for double approval too. We'll be adding this on our roadmap.
Authorisation per order stage is more complex and we would love to further discuss improving upon what we already offer (e.g. why should user A go back to Viewing only after they have edited?) to see some scenarios.

Vorteile
We’ve been using Megaventory for more than two years and the software seems to be designed exactly to our needs. The Megaventory team was directly involved in the onboarding process, so that helped us a lot as we were given a turnkey solution. For our needs, the system provides easy order tracking, picking, packing, and shipping modules. We are overall very happy with the way it has helped us improve our workflow.

Unfortunately the Integration to SAP is missing.

The most effective cloud based ERP I have ever used.
Overall, Megaventory has been easy to implement. We were running in less than 30 days. Of course I had prior knowledge of ERP implementations and i was disarmed how easy it is to configure the system and go live and trading people to use the system.
Vorteile
Megaventory is a very easy to implement cloud based ERP system. It has all the features required to manage orders, sales operation, manufacturing operations and warehouse inventory operations. No customaization required, you just need to understand how to do configuration and it will adapt to your business needs with no IT staff required!
Nachteile
Once you understand the features and how to use the system, it is amazing how much you can leverage the tool to better manage your business. Most negative reviews about the system is in my view because people have not taken the time to ask the support team questions or explain their needs well.. I used SAP, Oracle and many other systems, Megaventory is a simple solution for small to medium fast growing businesses.

Great customer service!
Positive.
Vorteile
Integration with Woocommerce, and the rapid customer service, problem fixes.
Nachteile
Some functionality required is quite bespoke, and sometimes our processes do not fit with MGV, but we always manage to find a work around.

A low-drama inventory and manufacturing option for D2C brands
As a cloud kitchen and direct to consumer brand, keeping a tab on consumption was a real challenge. Other options were either for manufacturing or retail sales; Megaventory was flexible enough to be wrangled in to a solution wherein we manufactured and procured. Support was terrific, I would say that they are the absolute best when it comes to support/consultation. They worked closely with me to answer every question. Highly recommend.

Totally worth it! Migrating from spreadsheets to database was hard because it was our first...
Vorteile
Can build up data really quickly once you know the right documents to raise.
The chat facility is very good, normally get a response within a few minutes to a few hours.
They work Sunday's as well as through the week.
I have had chat replies at 10pm.
Really Nice people, can build up relationships with them.
Fun emojis and gifs in the chat facility.
We are now getting excellent sales/stock/turnover/Profit/location reports from the system.
Has facility to deal with serial numbers and easy to find documents relating to serial numbers.
Once you get it set up properly, it is addictive, actually wanting to input data and see the results in the reports.
The share facility to colleagues for reporting is fast and easy.
Lots more pros, but I think you will all get the idea.
Nachteile
If you haven't set up a database before, then there is a lot to do, and have to wait for answers on the chat facility. But they do get back to you.
No telephone customer service. Chat and email only.
Would be helpful if there was a video for set up and early use. (I think they are working on that).
Could do with being able to see serial numbers when searching to add or delete a serial number from a product.
Other small idiosyncrasies, but can quickly get used to those.

Video is a difficult point to address as the app changes so often which would render any proper video production impractical. That's why we provide in-app step by step guides which allow demonstrating the app and are more adaptable as the app changes. You have a point of course when it comes to the immediacy of video.
Similarly, serial number data entry can be impractical as information value increases but there are solutions which can improve upon the serial number editing process and we'll be streamlining them.

Excellent cloud inventory management platform
It is a cloud platform that is easy to use and many people can access it from anywhere. We keep on track with all the workflow of our purchasing, production, and sales. Stock availability to manage the upcoming productions, and product cost tracking in time is something that we couldn't do without the help of the MV platform.
Vorteile
Ease of Use, very good workflow especially for companies that manufacture products. Easy access from anywhere, affordable price for what we get, excellent support. Support of Multiple Locations / Warehouses / Companies. Product Cost Tracking, Landed Cost Calculations.
Nachteile
We would prefer the backdating to be available in all supported features and the management of device serial numbers could not be so strict. Does not support a disassembly of a manufactured device.

Very reliable, fast, and flexible system which keeps improving
We've been using the system since it's running it's beta version 10 years ago. It's getting more organized, faster, and more functional throughout the whole time. Back then, it was the only online system that can handle our needs due to the customization capabilities.

The flexibility is very impressive
It's very fast as a online based system
Nachteile
I wish the subscription is a little cheaper but I understand the cost to maintain such a system.

Great for inventory management and syncing with financials
Amazing, they have by far one of the best support teams around, Kostis and Dimitris go above and beyond to help users get everything working.
Vorteile
The software's ability to keep in mind that even if I haven't received an item, it can still be accounted for and reserved for a customer.
Also, the localization options are the best I've seen in any software, you can literally change any section to use the phrasing that best suits your organization.
Nachteile
The quickbooks integration was a pain to work with since quickbooks mexico works differently and the api is not setup for that but that's not MV's fault.

Fabric Warehouse Stock
We use it on a daily basis to track rolls of fabric coming in and making Go docs for clients to sign POD's. We have using MV about 4 years and they have shown improvements in the system. Over the years we have made several changes to our stock taking program and MV has suited our business.
Vorteile
We like that it is web based and easy to access. The new interface is good and more user friendly.
Nachteile
the process of editing items on the fly is tiresome. meaning we have to import new .csv files each time.

Perfect for scaling manufacturing companies with multiple distribution outlets
We have gained a better understanding of our inventory with customizable reports and tracking.
Vorteile
I loved the simplicity and ease of use of the software, as well as the customer service! The team was INCREDIBLE in helping us set up the software and customizing it to our needs. I have never encountered this level of customer service with any other software company we tried.

They are working on implementing batch tracking which is one feature we could use.

Amazing!
Easy to use and to check. Really cheap and excellent customer service.
Vorteile
It is one of the cheapest options on the market and it does his job extremely well. We are a sweets confectionery start up and Megaventory offers everything we could need at this stage. The customer service is excellent.
Nachteile
the software, like most of the competitors, is not really flexible. So in order to change and elaborate your data, you need to force the system a little.

Please be informed that any text you see in Megaventory can be changed to your preference (things like column names, field labels, button names, etc). Also, invoice headers and footers can be adapted to your preference and additional versions can be created. Finally, if these features cannot be used to implement a workaround we're open to custom development work commissioned by clients subject to certain conditions (basically that the new feature is a good fit for the technical infrastructure and the product vision we have).

Used Mega for 7+ years. Its great at what it can do.
Overall I would highly recommend Megaventory. You have to have an understanding of what you need, and if its the basic, Mega excels at that and will get you off spreadsheets quickly. Great customer service, not too expensive and a reliable system that works and is easy to learn and use.

Easy to use. Easy to Train. Easy to set-up. Can do all of the basics. Tracks everything. Customer Service([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are extremely responsive). Very little downtime(never more than a few minutes over a 7+ year period of daily+ useage)
Nachteile
Not the best for high volume of order processing. Not the most intuitive program. Can be slow at times.

Great tool to help improve warehousing
Has made our ordering and sales process more streamlined and efficient
Vorteile
Very easy to use and you can pick it up pretty quickly and feel comfortable using. The customer service is top notch and are quick to respond when you do have any questions.
Nachteile
Some minor things could be improved such as a drop down menu for email addresses to send invoices or purchase orders and maybe some bigger/customizable text boxes.

Very flexible inventory management app with fantastic customer support
We've been happy Megaventory customers since 2010. Since our use case is somewhat atypical (we're a non-profit distributing products free of charge from multiple locations all over Europe) it was not easy to find a solution that would fit out needs and be within our budget. Megaventory has the flexibility that can fit a lot of different types of businesses and adjust as needs change. As our operations grew, Megaventory allowed us to scale up without a problem. Their customer service is more than 5 stars - the few times we needed their help (Megaventory is very reliable!), the response was nearly instantaneous and always to our satisfaction. All in all, it is a great value for us!

- flexibility (mulitple locations/product categories/currencies/user permissions, etc.)
- very rich reporting tools
- fantastic A+++++ customer support
Nachteile
- no dynamic/partial match filtering of product/customer/supplier list in the reporting module (with many items the lists can get a bit unwieldy).

Difficult to use
Vorteile
I tried this software when I was looking for a inventory software and though it was one of the best for low budget in the number of features, I found it very difficult to use. I only liked the price.
Nachteile
The software is not intuitive and it takes too many turns to complete a simple task. For example I needed to upload my stock quantity in an excel sheet.
I lost my patiente 2 days after stating the trial and went to look for another one. I have years of experience with softwares, so when I have to see the help videos several times to understand how it's done, I know it's not the software for me or the regular user who doesn't like to spend 2 days on a app setup.

We're really sorry you were frustrated in your attempt to setup your account. We are aware of the difficulty involved when it comes to handling product and stock spreadsheets and understand it can be a cumbersome process even for experienced users. We have concrete ideas how this can be addressed and we'll be evaluating them for implementation soon.
Having said that, we're confident that if you were to overcome the initial stages of configuration it would be smooth sailing in operating Megaventory. We value user experience and are putting significant effort in redesigning the app - the results of this initiative will be gradually rolled out over the next months.

Bookmark Cards already have deep logic capabilities in them - have you found any limits in what they can do? If so, feel free to share them in support @ megaventory.com. We are however actively working currently to make the bookmark cards more user-friendly.
Reporting by order flags (or tags as they are typically called) is also a good idea which is on our roadmap.

Good support but its so complicated
Vorteile
Great and quick support, i like that it is based online but it really doesn't give you much more than what you can make out of a spreadsheet
the new layout isnt really any better than the old one and it would be better to update the contents rather than just the cosmetics.
Nachteile
Why cant there just be one page which has all the information on it. ie stock quantities, price etc, etc
updating an item is not simple and trying to do an inventory check is very complicated
The quotes do not look very customer friendly and you cant adapt anything,

Hello,
we understand your frustration with regards to the complexity of our application and we're dedicated to simplifying its usability - hence the recent redesign of certain elements.
By definition any order management software cannot be about a single page where information is updated.
For your day to day transactions you do a Purchase Order or a Goods In to add stock. Similarly, you do a Sales Order or Goods Out to remove stock.
If you want to update your stock to correct errors, take into account damaged goods, etc you can do an Inventory Taking process.
What we don't support is on the fly manually changing the number corresponding to the stock of a product (as this doesn't leave any record of why and how this happened) which would defeat the purpose of having a management system.
Having said that the inventory taking process does include spreadsheets and is as such clunky - we have a solution planned for that.

Best for wholesale or retail, somewhat challenged with consignment orders
Megaventory helps me keep track of my inventory very well. I like that it can produce PO and packing slips. The customer support has been fantastic. They are quick to respond and to get anything resolved. I have a very small side business and am not using all of the features of Megaventory, but it suits my needs pretty well.
Vorteile
I like the reports it can produce, the customizable ways of reporting and finding information. I like the look of the layouts onscreen, they are easy to read and understand, and I like the look of the forms it produces.
Nachteile
Since I have some consignment clients I find it difficult to track the flow of goods out and invoiced items. My challenge is most likely in the learning curve of how to use the software rather than the software itself., but I think that it is not easy to use for consignment. Another minor thing that I find inefficient is that when I am searching and working with a certain client it doesn't always retain that if I bounce between screens and so I often have to start over in a search.

Megaventory - Software de gestión de pedidos
En general, es una buena aplicación para la gestión de pedidos y es muy flexible su uso para las empresas medianas y pequeñas.
Vorteile
Es un buen software para la gestión del inventarios y pedidos. Todo está prácticamente en la nube, por lo que es muy fácil aprender el sistema y así poder aplicarlo a su negocio. Además, la importación de datos la genera de forma rápida y limpia.Es muy sencillo de usar y también, es eficiente para pequeñas y medianas empresas.
Nachteile
Creo que tiene un precio elevado para lo qué es y existen otras alternativas más económicas que se pueden usar a la perfección. Por otro lado, la versión móvil no funciona como debería y a veces va un poco lento.

Megaventory made easy
I initially lost track of my stock but with introduction of this software, I am now able to pull a report that will make me remember where I shipped a certain product to and who took that equipment there. Moreover, I easily identify stock differences with the system by pulling a report in excel format.
Vorteile
The theme of the software is user friendly. The buttons self explanatory. Easy navigable. Good track of stock.
Nachteile
Initially it was somehow difficult to interprete its content, but now easy to understand.
