We were a very early customer and bumped into a handful of bugs. Customer support was very responsive and everything has been cleaned up promptly.

Really easy to set up. Very customisable, pretty much any text across the whole job board can be changed to suit your needs/locality. Our tier has an API which works well and we are making more and more use of it. Probably the largest benefit I have noticed is that the customer support has been second to none, they are always very quick to respond, very helpful, and accommodating to my questions (mostly about feature requests - we have not encountered many bugs).

Nachteile

We looked into using the Niceboard-Zapier integration, but this did not include as much functionality as the API, so we have switched to using the API now which meant putting a couple more developers on our project. It would be good to see the Zapier functionality expanded in future.
The fields on the 'apply' form can be customised to an extent, but some can only be hidden via custom CSS. It would be good to have toggles on these fields to choose whether to display them or not, but I am sure that will come with time.

The Niceboard platform makes it very easy to set up, and manage my job board. The level of customisation is just right and the design looks both modern and professional. I am in the process of migrating my second job board to Niceboard.

The product/tech support is responsive and helpful.

The candidate database/talent pool functionality is lagging behind the jobs functionality. This is particularly important for my website, so I'm hoping that additional functionality is added here.

I found it to be a very useful tool to implement at work due to its multiple functions of use that facilitate a faster and more professional selection process, grouping all the information in the same system and being able to have everything clearer and at hand

The only drawback I've had since using this tool is when I make the monthly payment, the system is too slow to process the payment and a bit confusing, but it's something that requires patience and availability of time to finish the process correctly.

Niceboard is extremely easy to configure. I set up our board in a single afternoon and then continued refining it over the next few days. This allowed us to focus on our core service and target community instead of the technical implementation. And the result looks slick and professional. The included blog and private board API are also indispensable.

Nachteile

I would have loved to see the private board API included in the Essential or even Pro plan. That said, the Business plan is still of great value considering the potential ROI.Less importantly, the Niceboard app on Zapier didn't work out of the box, which would have saved me some integration time. I'm sure they'll improve it eventually.Lastly, would eventually like to see a few more features such as blog comments, blog posts in the newsletter, and more metadata in job posts (such as job sections, salary information, timezones, tags, etc.)

Niceboard is extremely easy to learn and use. I recommend it to anyone that wants to build an online job board. The look and feel of the board is very customizable, it's easy to manage employers and jobs, you can add custom pages and blog posts to Niceboard, and do so much more. Plus, the customer support I've received from Niceboard has been quick and helpful.

Perhaps my only request for Niceboard would be to add a Zapier integration, which I'm sure they'll do at some point soon. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

I really loved how simplified the sw is from the administrator's side.

I've been working with a lot of other software meant to be add-on, customer-facing services that have been maddeningly convoluted to launch, so the ease of set-up with Niceboard was a dramatic difference!

The front end is clean and simple, and the appearance is professional. I have no qualms about charging for ads based on how it all looks.

The newsletter feature and the easy Stripe integration were wonderful to see, too! I haven't yet made a sale, so I can't comment on transactions themselves, but the setup was a snap.

I had issues setting up this board under a subdomain, but only because I'm an idiot - not due to any fault of Niceboard. The customer support I received included more patience than I deserved. ;-) And the responses were fast and intelligent, too. Really happy with the support.

There are a few extra features I'd like to see. However, without them, this board still offers great value.

I'd like to be able to price different kinds of postings differently. For example, I want to encourage temporary, freelance postings by offering them at a lower price than fulltime permanent. As it stands, I have the "featured" ad as one price meant for one job type, and the regular ad at a different price meant for a different job type. But a visitor could potentially use one for the other purpose, which means I have to manually police the board.

The coupons I'm told are a new feature, so they have basic functionality. (And that's great!) But in the future, I'd love to see some more controls with this part, too. One could be the option to make a coupon good for a 1-time use, or a limited number of uses.

Extremely easy to use, fits well with the look I'm going for that resonates with my market, backend is very easy to use, categories and sub-categories are set up well, built for mobile, loads very fast even with a 1000+ jobs on it, constant updates and improvements added on a regular basis, Niceboard [SENSITIVE CONTENT]/staff vert responsive and excellent to deal with.

Nachteile

My only negative comment is that I would like a feature that allows me to insert more of my company's branding onto the homepage. But this is something unique to me and the audience I am trying to attract (won't be a negative for everyone). (Also, there is no pre-built job board software that offers this feature anyway).

You can build a clean looking job board in about 15 minutes, the UI/UX is the best on the market and the appsumo deal which is now gone was a steal.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is alwys on hand to respond to any DNS set up questions and has a commitment to develop the product features further, it's good now but it will be even better in the future.

Niceboard's strongest benefits are that it's super easy to set up, intuitive for job seekers and job posters, elegant in design, and effective and reliable at a good price point. The developer is extremely responsive and the customer support is fantastic. I'm not really sure what more you could want!

Nachteile

Elegant and streamlined, this job board is purpose built and doesn't have a ton of extra bells and whistles. I think that's a good thing but others might want more integrations or built-in customization options. As is, you can customize some aspects easily, including custom domain and if you're so inclined you can customize more with code.

Vorteile

The ease of use and the fact that it renders Google Jobs listings out-of-the-box (and has pagination to make sharing of vacancies on your website a lot easier).

While some features and customization options were lacking when I first purchased Niceboard, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been really helpful to find workaround and keeps on adding new features every month!

Niceboard is very flexible in terms of setup, categories, types, locations and searching. The simplicity of no client or candidate login is awesome and overcomes many of the problems associated with running a job board.

The full functionality of system maybe limited compared to some products, although it does provide a lot of flexibility for anyone wanting to make the most of it. However, part of the value of the system is the simplicity and ease of setup, deployment and operation.

I have been running multiple job groups/communities on facebook and i always wanted to have my own jobboard to compliment my communities. All the other jobboard options were extremely expensive (to the point of even being unreasonable), Niceboard is a great mix of clean, UI, ease of use, features and probably the most important factor for startups like mine - Right price. While the front end is easy on the eyes and simple to navigate, i am really impressed by the backend. The inside of the tool is quite neatly laid out. Also, special mention for the founder - the one man army who is extremely helpful and kind.

We purchased Niceboard as we recently completed our new website so it was good timing. We're a premier hotel management company and have a portfolio of hotels. We needed the ability for potential candidates to see job listings with details directly on our website.
I like the functionality and ease of use for the software, but wish there were a bit more features. I do believe with the continued development of the software that it will prove to be an asset in talent recruiting & acquisition. The founder, Olivier, was very responsive & helpful when I reached out.

Nachteile

The experience is a bit clunky in setting up all the details such as location, job, description, and so on. Would love to have the ability to separate perks & bonuses presented in a special way rather than simply within the text of the job description.
They DID NOT have the ability to use CName but did have a workaround to that.

From signup to launch, Niceboard has made the entire process easy and intuitive. I had my niche job board launched in a matter of minutes and was able to customize it to my liking in less than an hour!

There were a few visual theme customization options that I'd have liked to see, but I was able to customize what I needed by overriding the theme with code.

- Could benefit from more backfill options (Jobg8, ZipRecruiter, Jobs2Careers or Indeed for example.
- Add more available payment gateways through stripe (for the european market, think alipay, ideal, etc, etc)
- Customizable footer (gives more options)

I have been using this for about 1 month to setup a job board. So far there is no feature I have not been able to add, despite being locked into a SaaS tool. The [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is very active in support and has helped be totally customize the board and fix any issues. The price IMO is a bargain, because if you get your board flowing then it will pay for the software with 2 or 3 posts.

Custom code block is a bit small and can be hard to read what you have added there. Some customization is hard to do, but it is all doable.

We had seriously considered building a custom job board before finding Niceboard. That's a huge task by the time you consider Stripe integration, email subscriptions, back-filling job listings, etc. Out of the box Niceboard has all the features we would have spent weeks building and testing, now we can focus on the sales and marketing side of building a job board.

Nachteile

At the end of the day there are going to be design and UX limitations of any no-code site builder. That can be tweaked by injecting CSS in Cloudflare and Niceboard does even offer an API, though I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

All the features I want in a job board are offered - built-in Stripe support, email subscriptions, custom filtering and categories, etc.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] said it, and Niceboard did it. Their admin dashboard and UI are so simple that you can setup a whole project up and running in less than an hour. The platform is very flexible you can add additional pages and embed codes with the need to connect separate apps or subdomains. The price is very reasonable.
