LMS Novice able to pick up and use platform in no time

I needed to stand up an LMS very quickly. With no prior experience I reviewed 8 different platforms. Litmos stood out among them for it's ease of use both in creating courses and for the learner. The responsiveness of the Litmos team sealed the deal.

Although there are some limitations with the types of reports and views I need, I know the team is willing to listen and make changes to meet customer requests.

I am still in the very early stages of using the platform and know I have a long way to go, but I am glad that we chose Litmos as they are growing too and I think we can be partners for a long time to come.

I highly recommend this product for smaller companies (<100) but I think with 1000 employees, I am really pushing at the limits of what this software can do.

We use it to train our associates across 10 states.

Litmos has been very useful in helping us train associates across 10 states at 140 dealerships. Every position has their own training courses. Litmos allows our associates to train at their own pace and reduces our cost of sending out trainers. It also keeps training uniformed and consistent.
The support team at Litmos has been very responsive to issues, and they are constantly looking to improve their product. I just came back from a conference they hosted with a lot of new ideas.

Bait & Switch - DON'T BOTHER WITH THE TRIAL!

IF YOU START THE TRIAL, THEN CLICK BUY NOW, THEIR SYSTEM WON'T ALLOW YOU UNLESS YOU CALL THEM DIRECTLY AND GO THROUGH AN ENTIRE PROCESS, ETC. IT'S A JOKE.

Easy to get up and running

Dubious business practice

Shame that Litmos has continued to bill me for 9 months this year despite written cancellation of my sub. After numerous emails and promises to refund coming to nothing, I am on the verge of canceling my Amex card of 25 years to avoid billing. An expensive product that is happy to take your money but slow to front up when instructions have been given to cancel to a cheaper and more visually appealing product. There is no capacity in the accounts section to cancel a subscription. I did it in writing to the support team and it has been ignored. Do not sign up, you might be in an endless subscription with extreme difficulty getting your funds back.

Litmos - Easy to Use Software as a Service

Most of the help desk is found in YouTube videos. Emailing help desk brings no response. Rep is the only live human you talk to and if he/she doesn't know you are out of luck.

Awesome Mascot

Don't change your mascot. In the limited amount of time I have spent using Litmos I found found it fairly easy to use. Also, anytime I have contacted the support team I have had my questions answered quickly and professionally.

Pros: I find the system very user friendly and easy to build courses. I am looking forward to the advanced reporting being launched.

Cons: I understand that there may be some limitations to the Webex integration. Meaning not every version of Webex will integrate. I would like to have the ability to use all levels of their service or if you offer a web hosting feature this could solve my current problem.

Horrible nightmare

My company started using this software and I want to scream ! First couldn't get logged on then the training freezes in the same spot and won't let you progress , company response was to just try it in google chrome , well I did and the same problem , it keeps getting stuck in a loop and will not progress to next section without tech support manually selecting complete , I freaking HATE this thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great tool

It is a great tool that I can use to share content with my customers and co-workers.

Great product

I had nothing but a positive experience when I set up and utilized this LMS in a previous role. The company I worked for was very old school and they did not have any difficulty adapting to this LMS which says a lot about its ease-of-use.

Easy to use but limited in power

I like it. I would recommend it especially to someone who didn't need the reporting that I do. This is actually the main limitation and would potentially push us to find another LMS.

Litmos is a big player, though not one investing in innovation.

Much like Cornerstone, Litmos is a good LMS with solid performance. However, they are not pushing towards current or future company needs. They have a nice portfolio of recognizable names they are taking care of, but maintaining current clients seems to be more of a focus for them than stretching their capabilities or solving tomorrow's learning problems.

Long-Term Reference Training = Retention!!!

Litmos is an excellent platform for us to provide our BonaTraining programs to our customers after (and sometimes prior to) attending our 4-Day hands-on sessions! The functionality allows us to do so much more than just posting Youtube videos and lets us truly engage with our customers. It also opens up all kinds of other training opportunities that we just don't have the physical or time resources to capitalize on from a day-to-day basis. Now BonaTraining is available when convenient for our customers and at theirchosen speed! Perfect!!!

Excellent LMS, tech support needs improvement

We have developed a lot of courses and used the product extensively. We had to use tech support for getting single sign on to work directly with ADFS. The process was painful and took several weeks to resolve the issue. At times it would take days to get a response and if you wanted to call support, you cannot find a phone number. Overall the system is awesome and works well, improved customer service times and adding phone support would be beneficial!

Litmos is very easy to use and their support staff is very helpful if you have any questions! Not just about Litmos, but they will help you if you have questions on the best format for your content. They really care about how you want to make Litmos work for you and they want to see your training department be successful!

Awesome Product, Great Service!

I have worked with a dozen products like Limos over the last 25 years and Litmos is by far the easiest, most intuitive product of them all. Blackboard, Desire to Learn and Sakai are all stodgy and too complex for non-IT people to grasp. Litmos, however, has a wonderful technical staff and highly-effective product that makes learning management easy.

Much more than a product purchase

I looked at 3 LMS companies prior to landing with Litmos, and as many mentioned, it "checks all the boxes."

As a consulting firm, we are selling OUR services, and occasionally dependent upon 3rd party providers to help us deliver.

The best thing about Litmos is that not only does the product do what it's supposed to do (and more), but the company itself delivers on its' promise of being in a "partnership" with its users rather than a client relationship.

In this vain, there have been MANY opportunities that have arisen that will mutually benefit all involved (our shared clients as well).

TEKsystems Litmos

Very easy to use, nice clean design. One thing I would recommend while configuring the system is to document all the decisions you make in the configuration process, both the things you decide to turn on and the things you decide not to turn on. It is usually easy to remember why something is configured to be active, but it is often less clear why something was not made active. Documenting your decision process will save you time later when questions come up about why certain features are turned off.

Excellent Learning Tool and Support

Pros - Versatile and fast. Integrates with lots of other software. Allows for repurposing of existing training / reference material. Keeps track of user activity and progress simply. Boost promises to be a game-changer. Scales price to usage.

Cons - Team structure is a little rigid.

Litmos offered more in terms of course development tools, storage capacity, reporting capability, and ease of use than any other product we looked at. From the sales staff to the helpdesk, everyone is cheerfully supportive, quick to respond, and the questions get answers.

After a comprehensive search for a Learning Management System, our company selected Litmos. It combined the features we needed with a great user interface and an excellent price point. We began implementation in august and are already seeing significant benefits to our organization by December. The most exciting thing has been the unsolicited praise provided by members of our sales team.

Great LMS For Anyone

Litmos is a great LMS. They're constantly upgrading their system. They listen to their customers' suggestions and take action to create features that benefit everyone.

Easy to Use LMS?

Several customers have asked me to train them how to use their Litmos instance. The problem is that once we're in the tool I just watch them use it. Most are operating out of fear because elearning LMS's have been so terrible to use. Litmos is the exception. It is powerful enough for basic applications and seems to be growing its ability to integrate with other systems.

Overall great LMS!

I love using Litmos. It has a great UI and integrates very well with Salesforce. There are a few more features I'd like to see in future releases, but one of the best things about Litmos is the speed with which the team updates the software and the fact that they truly take into out their users' needs.

This product is simple to use and very easy to follow. I was searching for an inexpensive LMS that my workers and clients could use, and this one serves my needs. My colleagues said they liked the trial version and it fits our small business.
