Nachteile

Bei Soda PDF dauert es leider eine Weile, bis das Dokument geöffnet wird. Das könnte in Zukunft nachgebessert werden.

I mainly use it for adding my e-signature of PDF files.
Merging tons of files together by page number, SODA PDF, helps me to be more proactive.
Considering its price compared to other PDF editors, it is cheaper.

Nachteile

Customer support is almost dreadful; they should improve in this section.

When viewing and work with PDF files Soda PDF gives me great experience. Is easy to edit and create different documents and sharing with other departments decrease the time to get them finish without any mistakes. Another features important for is the digital signature witch is a modern and fast way to get all the paper signed without printing and then scan.

I bought a perpetual use license to use soda 9 forever for one purchase price. They have now changed their pricing structure to a monthly subscription. As I updated my computer I had to download the free version and then convert to my subscription. They (soda) have made it progressively harder to use my bought and paid for perpetual subscription. My hard drive died so I had to download the free version and switch to my subscription. Suddenly that seemed impossible to do. I have always been able to log onto their site and see my perpetual subscription. I could do that this morning but after trying to apply my subscription to the software I got an email saying I canceled my own subscription and my log in no longer works. So in essence they just canceled me, my subscription and even my log in. Their site now says my user name is no longer recognized by their system.

Really happy that there's an all in one pdf convertor out there. You don't really have to change sites to do it too. You can convert and edit at the same time.

There is nothing about this software that I like. It only works about half the time. I have requested a refund but no one will get back to me. Customer service is impossible to contact. Their "chat" doesn't work. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I have used Soda PDF Desktop 11 for several years and found it to be an incredibly useful, and easy to use application.

Since upgrading to Soda PDF Desktop 12 it has been a total disaster. It is no longer user friendly and many of the features previously used no longer work. It is so much slower than the older version and has crashed or simply stopped responding on more than one occasion.

This was the best alternative to Acrobat for years. Fully featured and fairly priced, but then they turned it into an online version only (360). Trying to copy Office 360, which is also unappealing to many users.

Yeah. I'd like them to bring back the desktop version. Why do I need to be online to view and edit PDF documents? And if I'm on a slow connection, then this product is also painfully slow by association. Now I have to search for a competing PDF editor.

Have been caught twice now - had assistance the first time and the recently am 13 days outside a refund which apparently now is technically impossible??? Converting different file types to pdf is easy and fast. So is combining different pdfs in one pdf file and all of them can be rearranged as needed. Hence PDFs can be easily customised. Pictures, signatures, text etc can also be added. All these features make the office work a lot simpler. For signatures, you don't have to sign documents physically, which saves a lot of time. The software is also easy to download and install and doesn't take up a lot of space.

I don't have any big complaints. But I wish uploading bigger files would have been a little quicker, though it's manageable.

The support was truly terrible spent 3 hours getting passed around every department that Soda PDF has. My 1 simple issue to fix turned into 4 issues by the end of the call and to top things off we can't even access our business account because they reset the wrong password and locked us out of it. They also made the user i was reporting the problem a admin on the business account.

I've been using Soda PDF for some time now and i am very pleased with it. I started using it for signing and store my contracts but after some time it became my main document manage app. Creating, editing and storing with just one app saves you a lot of time. The sharing functionality is another useful feature, letting my colleagues have access to certain docs saves time for all of us.

There are no cons for Soda PDF that worth mentioning or deal breakers.

I encounter great support team that really helps you when you got an issue. Soda PDF functionalities are great, when it comes to documents, create or edit I use this app because is fast and reliable. Sharing feature is the docs I am working on with my colleagues is easy and helpful

When my year-long subscription expired, I got no notification via email, nor any indication when I opened my desktop software. I created an entire fillable document and when I tried to save it, I was prompted to "upgrade" to the program that expired. There was no way to save the form I had completed, and I was forced to close the program to install the "upgrade". It should have been a simple license number, since the program was already installed. I have lost an hour of work.

Using Soda to manage the PDF files is a great and cheaper solutions than others software. It is easy to install and use, making editing PDF a piece of cake. When it comes to signatures Soda PDF perform very good and i am really pleased.

The cost was all over the board - different browsers offered different discounts, the bigger the discount the more it was going to renew for.

I was very upset with the install - I was prompted with an offer of help with the install to ensure it was done properly. After they installed, they went into my task manager to show how many processes i had running along with how much space I had. They ask when the last time I had my computer serviced- told them last year with the purchase of a new SSD. They said I would need it done again and would need to keep up with more regular maintenance to make sure the software ran properly. They then said they were going to set me up with a maintenance program... I disconnected the computer share and ran a virus protector because I was afraid of being hacked. I purchased the phone support only to find you can not get to a number on their site, so I started a chat to get the number to find out the time available to me was 3am to 9am. Both the company and myself are in the eastern standard time. The person I chatted with also mentioned that they use or are a 3rd party to the software - a trading partner and what I experienced was part of their job to make sure my computer is running well. I would have never allowed a 3rd party into my computer and feel like I was taken advantage of. It's not like I was taking advantage of a free service that they needed to make money off of me beyond the purchase of the software.

Installing the app was very easy, can use all features immediately after it. I struggled a long time with creating, merging or editing PDF file until I found Soda PDF. Affordable, comparing to the other PDF editor. User interface is nice and easy to navigate.

Ho perso giorni utili per questa app che non vale manco un cent. Devo disdire assolutamente l'abbonamento. Poi si blocca sempre per aggiungere il testo bisogna aspettare prima 2 minuti di caricamento. veramente pessima

I have had a subscription for several years and have had to lodge countless support requests because the software simply does not work. While it recognises that I am logged into my account, it does not connect the software to my subscription and therefore I cannot utilise any functions. Despite endless help desk requests (and the former staff - before Avanquest took over - have been good), I am paying a subscription service foe software that completely fails

Le coût de la version payante de Soda PDF n'est pas très avantageux pour les micro-entreprises comme la mienne. Il y a aussi le problème au niveau de l'abonnement qui se renouvelle automatiquement pour une année après l'essai de 14 jours.
