I love the ease of use! The reporting is simple to use while providing you with all the info you need to see.

Nachteile

I wish it were a bit more customizable. It would be good to be able to white label it for our customers.

The interface is a little out of date and customer service for technical support it's hard to get someone on the phone , it's usually support from just emailing.

Vorteile

The interface is clean and quick. Emails are never delayed and instantly delivered when requested.
It has been very reliable and causes me to spend far less time dealing with user issues than other spam filters we've used in the past.

Nachteile

The interface can be confusing and sometimes requires round-about ways to do things that should be straightforward and simple (such as blacklisting).

Also it requires HEAVY use of the whitelisting feature because it will quarantine random emails from a long conversation for no apparent reason.

Ease of Use and design flow. Vary understandable product and most effective. Would recommend this to anyone.

Nothing Really. It is a complete package.
Support services can be a bit faster in their response but once communication is established problems get solved.

Cost effective, very flexible spam filtering software that gave me the ability to assign different user groups and easily monitor malware/spam activity.

The software is very easy to use, and very easy to configure. the support offered by SpamTitan was sensational at all times, enabling me to roll out the filter in a timely manner, with zero effect on business. the value we have gotten has been amazing, and we have seen a roughly 90% drop in visible spam

The layout can be a bit hard to navigate for the first time, but once you know your way around, its a breeze

The filter is DNS based which runs into issues with cached sites in the browser and dns entries locally cached.

This product has drastically reduced our inbound Spam. I like that I can set thresholds so that the definitely junk items my users don't have to weed through to find the legitimate emails.

I wish there was a way to send spam reports multiple times a day, vs 1. There are a few mailboxes that we have for customer orders and such, that it would be better to have the summary report come more regularly.

Simple way to offload the task of spam filtering from our in house mail server to webtitans cloud based service.

Better support for checking the reputation of dkim verified domains. Appears the is no support or dkim reputation not used.

Agent is needs to be matured. Securing DNS traffic via the agent is problematic. We decided against using the agent.

It just works. It sits in the background and does a thorough job on monitoring and protecting your network.
It very rarely causes any problems and all i generally have to do is occasionally blacklist or whitelist something

The cost is a little high but, like anything, you get what you pay for

Missing some major features. Web browser support is always behind.. Chrome TLS issue.

Once installed, the software showed me every single web url accessed, in real time, allowing me to monitor and observe the websites my user visited.

Nachteile

The only problem I had was that my internet service provider would not allow me to modify the network gateway to observe all web traffic, forcing me to install it on each user's computer. Without an official IT department in my small business, this made it hard to monitor the user's traffic without their knowledge.

The interface doesn't show the DNS address. It also isn't as intuitive as other competitors. Not a big deal, but those would be nice to have. There is also no support for workgroups, must have AD

We like that all of the filtering options happen in the cloud ,, and they don't consume our bandwidth.

We use the software to monitor internet usage and filter out content we may not wish to expose to our staff or network. The software sits there doing it's job with no noticeable performance hit and very few false positives.

Nachteile

Getting up and running is fairly straight forward with a simple DNS change. There are extra steps however for SSL sites which will involve you installing a SSL certificate onto each users desktop / device. Group Policy can assist.

We have experienced very few false positives. The support is fantastic; I have yet to experience an issue that they have not been able to help me figure out.

The only thing I do not like is how the policies apply. The policies are not cumulative, so I am managing three separate policies, adding exceptions to each when they are identified. It would be nice to have a baseline policy, and then further exceptions or settings based on the AD user accounts or groups.

The stability of operation. There's never been an issue of web blocking. The tracking of the attempted sites is also a huge plus.

It's cloud based and it takes the network traffic of spam out of our network since we don't receive emails until it goes through their filters.

The absolute best URL Filtering we could find at that moment, also it made us able to filter by category of content which came in handy a few dozen times.
We never got to use cloud keys, but it's an awesome feature and is worth checking out.

The entire platform is simple to navigate, and it just works. If you're looking for web filtering and auditing to boot, this is definitely worth taking a look at.

Sometimes WMI doesn't work with the WADA agent, especially if you have users using RDP. It definitely doesn't like WIndows 10.

The online portal is very easy to use and intuitive. The filtering does a great job preventing inattentive employees from unintentionally harming the company through malware or phishing. It is also nice to have reports seeing where web traffic is going.

There aren't really any cons I can think of. I do wish there were more customization options for categories.

The worst part about WebTitan is the price. I may be a little too protective over all my employees but it gets pricey. I think its worth the cost however

Easy to setup web filtering with intuitive categorization. Policy based filtering with user identification integrated to active directory makes it touchless once initially configured
Inclusion of threat filtering is a plus

Initial setup and configuration is labor intensive especially when integrating to a complex active directory structure.

The ui is great and easy to use. Filters out all malware and randoms sites and phising sites. Its nice to see where your traffic is going. The price is right for what you get.

Charging method. It is not clear if it is per user or per seat or how. There are not intermediate steps. Billing is from one range to another no matter how many users are.
