It's a great app to use for conventions, conferences, retreats or events!

Find Out Who is Who with WHova!
It was a very user friendly app. Being able to add sessions to my personal agenda was great! I liked that the locations were listed. I accessed the app multiple times per day!
Vorteile
I liked being able to see the Agenda, my selected sessions and all of the other event attendees. It was also fun to earn points for Networking through the app.
Nachteile
There were not any dislikes. The app was very user friendly. Navigation was easy. Messaging was easy. I really liked being able to see the attendees.

A wonderful way to enhance engagement for virtual conferences!
Overall was very impressed by the platform and already communicated up to my supervisor about the value that a platform like this could bring to our in-house virtual conference!

Vorteile
I have used Whova once a year to register for a training day that occurs one time per year when four districts meet together. Whova has been very easy and convienent for each of us to register for the sessions that we want, and to track the sessions and make sure that they don't become too full. Since I only use it once a year, I forget about it for the majority of the year, but it's so easy to pick back up again that one time a year.

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I don't like about using Whova.

Whova provided an excellent conference experience for session locations, interactions with other attendees, and all of the resources are available. There were so many sessions that I wanted to attend, however not enough hours in the day!
Nachteile
Whova web version was utilized, and all areas were functioning (Community, Messages, updates, etc. Really no cons.

Hooray for Whova
As a user of Whova, there are several benefits that I feel would be great for any organization who wants to manage an event with several attendees. As mentioned in previous comments, I really enjoyed the agenda and networking capabilities of Whova.
Vorteile
I really enjoyed the agenda feature in Whova. As a person who likes to plan ahead, it's important for me to be able to organize my day and know what's ahead. Using Whova, I could not only see the entire agenda for the conference, but I could select which courses/workshops I wanted to attend and create my own personal agenda which filtered out the classes I was not attending.
Nachteile
Honestly, there wasn't much I didn't like about Whova. If I had to pick something, it would be the hundreds of notifications I could receive throughout the day. But there are ways to turn those off too... so it's not all that bad. However, if you're one that likes to clear out all the red notification marks, you could potentially spend a lot of time going through the app.

Whova was very helpful
It was great to stay in the "know". Meet fellow attendees prior to the Conference. We were able to communicate without giving out personal information, cell numbers, room number, etc.
Vorteile
It is convenient and allowed you to have fun while staying up to date with the Conference materials, Agenda, Training Room locations and it was right at your finger tips.
Nachteile
It allows you to receive unwanted messages like someone trying to flirt with you, seeing your picture and not showing theirs.

I have used Whova for several different conferences and conventions. I highly recommend it!

Having the agenda, network, etc. on one app is amazing. It is user friendly. Everything needed is accessible from documents (real-time), to schedules and schedule changes, notices, connecting with other attendees.

Woohoo Whova
Great app for participants and vendors.
Vorteile
As a vendor, it was absolutely awesome to be able to scan the QR codes on participants' badges, add notes about conversations I had with them, and then get a spreadsheet of all of that right in my email inbox.

I would have liked to get the city and state information for participants that were interested in my business.

I appreciated the organization of it all. From the agenda itself to the meet and greet and ice-breaker topics. It was very helpful for a first time attendee.

A great communication tool
Our conference had various contests that kept attendees engaged and in touch. Whova gave us instant communication with other Whova users to schedule shared rides to the airport, meetings for after hours activities and agenda changes.

Whova provided instant communication at our event where attendees were spread out over a large area.

Event Attendee Communication has never been this easy

It was easy for me to share with my team of booth attendees.
It was easy for me to search for and communicate with attendees in our target audience
It was easy and beneficial to create a company page for attendees to view our website, videos and more.
It was easy for our booth personnel to collect leads and identify if they were hot or cold.
With one click, I was able to download the list of leads from an email that was sent to me immediately after the event.
After reviewing and editing the list 160 new leads were added to our CRM database.
Without this App, I would not have been able to efficiently and quickly manage staff needs during the event and manage and communicate to leads post event. Within 3 business days, leads received a welcoming email in their inbox.

Whova From The Dining Room
I was new to it and yet could find everything and make it work immediately! It's very clear, and it has all the tools for making connections, attending online events, taking notes, finding groups, and so on.
Vorteile
Whova brings the energy to software for meetings and online events! It's brash in the best way: focused, ever-present, helpful, useful, full of productive options.
Nachteile
I did not like that I was using it on a computer in my Philadelphia, PA dining room, instead of at the week-long Computational Linguistics Conference in Abu Dhabi. I am sure participating in Whova-listed meetups to go ride dune buggies across the Abu Dhabi desert to have dinner in a huge carpeted tent with live music was MUCH more fun than just reading about meetups on Whova.

Whova makes the conference more efficient
Vorteile
It makes the conference more organized, especially for those who have satellite symposia. I can add the talks I want to attend to the calendar and set up the reminder. This way I wouldn't miss any talks since I can check the calendar anytime. It also saves a lot of paper as I don't need to print out the agenda.

Great tool for Confernce organizers and attendees
Vorteile
easy to use, you can pick the sessions you want to go to and see them all in one place, it even allows you if two sessions are at the same time. it also allows for you to see on a map where your sessions are. It allows for pre-session questions and allows for ease of sharing information post session.

It doesnt always track attendees accurately, as not every one shows up, this still leaving some manual counting and such.

Vorteile
As the company admin, I plan and attend most events that we sponsor. This app made it very easy for my staff to gain access to the event without having to have me print tickets or itineraries.
Nachteile
Our company made an event after the conference and promoted it within the app but it was difficult for me to find after it was published. Seems maybe it would be beneficial to have a separate space within the app that has your activity in one space, so it is easy to find.
