I like this file converter the most because it is easy and very convenient to use. It can convert PDFs to Excel or Word formats very easily.
Nachteile
I find the premium access is very expensive for a regular user like me. I use it for personal purposes and I hope they will charge a cheaper price soon.

Simple, Easy and Free PDF tool
It is a free online tool that makes everything easy and simple. I can easily convert my pdf files to JPEG, PPT, Excel, word and vice versa for free.
Vorteile
I like that Smallpdf provide me with all the options that I need from compressing, merging, splitting and converting. I use it to convert my PDF to word document for free. Also, My pdf files are protected by adding a password to it.
Nachteile
I didn't experience any issue before with Smallpdf.

Intuitive to use!
I use it pretty often for cover letters, resumes, reports, surveys, and so forth. I like how the process is simple, but just don't like the idea that you are limited to only two uses.

I like how it can convert my files any form/file I want in just a few seconds. Helpful for those who hate ads and just want to convert their files as quickly as possible.
Nachteile
That you have to sign up after 2 uses, and pay for membership. I felt it should be a free software to use.

Whether you need to convert documents, merge, or split them, this is the software to use.
Vorteile
This made it so easy to convert documents into PDF form, merge, split, convert to Word, etc. It converts documents in many different ways and is super simple! You can either select the files or drag and drop.
Nachteile
I wish there was a one time payment rather than a monthly or yearly subscription. I will also say that it is so great that it is worth it.

One of the handiest tools for any white collar
1) I started using this site while attending university. It was free (which was important for a student with 80$ monthly stipend). I used it frequently, including for polishing design of my undergrad thesis and inserting some visuals made with different tools, that could not have been exported to MS Word directly.
2) As the time went on, SmallPdf offered more services, and that is great. When I got the job, it was the first service that received financial support from me.
Vorteile
It's very user friendly, easy to navigate and fast. Great performance!
Nachteile
I would suggest looking at download functionality. At this point it works a bit misleading in terms of what you're getting when you split files, etc.

Glitchy and expensive
I have used this to combine the various PDFs I receive from artists and other contractors, which is something I do regularly. However, it crashes often and we only mistakenly enrolled for an entire year of this only semi-functional product. There isn't a way to cancel a subscription mid-year, which is a hassle for a small consulting firm. We thought we had canceled but hadn't followed through.

This does sometimes work for compression and rearranging pages it does well.
Nachteile
The price is extravagant for a glitchy program that is difficult to cancel and has limited functionality.

Overall experience is seamless when it comes to editing and sending PDF's. Also converting PDF's to other docs is very easy too.

I love how I can upload a PDF and make edits right in the cloud, then download it right there. A task that used to take me 15 minutes, now takes me 1.5 minutes.

How can a free trial cost £81
I am appalled that after cancelling my account I was still charged

I tried to use this once, the website said it would be a free trial but I was charged £81 for one document . I have never been so over charged for what other much better websites do for free.

Small PDF is super easy to use. I needed to decrease the size of a few pdf files to email to clients. Small PDF super quick and convenient.
Nachteile
Not a big deal, but you are limited to how many pdf files you can compress within one hour. I think it's two. Be nice to increase that.
